Sherry glanced up and was a little stunned when she saw that it was Grandma.

"Grandma" Sherry called and was about to get down from the bed.

Bryan immediately stopped her, Grandma also walked faster towards her.

"Just stay where you are already," Grandma said with a smile.

Sherry obeyed her and sat down on the bed.

"Are you feeling alright now? Do you feel scared? If you are feeling scared, you can tell me I'll accompany you and sleep" Grandma said with a concerned tone.

Sherry felt warm in her heart, she smiled and responded to her, "I'm fine , Grandma. I'm stronger than you think"

"Don't worry, if you are feeling scared. Tell me I'll accompany you, you don't have to be shy"

Sherry was stunned when she heard the familiar voice.

She glanced at the door and saw Mrs Adamson walk into the ward room.

"Grandma Adamson" Sherry greeted her.

"Good girl" Grandma Adamson smiled happily.

"Why do you need to accompany her? I can accompany her myself" Grandma said grumpily.

"The same way you can accompany her, that is the same way I can also accompany her" Grandma Adamson replied and acted like she didn't see the unhappiness in Grandma's face.

"She is my granddaughter in law, what position do you think you are in to accompany her?" Grandma said with a smug smile.

Grandma Adamson rolled her eyes at Grandma, "She will be my goddaughter soon" Grandma Adamson declared.

Sherry was stunned.

Goddaughter?

The tycoon wants to acknowledge her as a goddaughter?

This is like a pie that falls from heaven.

She would have agreed immediately but she knew that she had to reject it.

She was not worthy of it.

"That is if Sherry will agree first" Grandma replied with a proud smile.

Grandma Adamson turned her head and looked at Sherry with a puppy face, "You will agree right?" She asked.

Sherry snapped out of her daze and looked at Grandma Adamson, she wanted to reject her but her face made it difficult for her to reject her.

"Uhm…. I …. " Sherry started but she didn't know what to say.

She could only turn her head and look at Bryan with a pleading gaze.

Bryan nodded and glanced at the bickering Grandmas, "Sherry just woke up, you should let her rest before you start this"

Grandma Adamson realized her mistake and looked at Sherry with a guilty eyes, "Sorry I'm rushing you"

Sherry heaved a sigh of relief when she saw that Grandma Adamson was not insisting, they would talk another day for this but for now they still had things to survive.

"Have you eaten?" Grandma also didn't continue to bicker with her friend and asked.

Sherry nodded, "Yes, the accident was not that serious, so you should go home to rest instead" Sherry said.

She knew that Grandma was ill and had been relying on drugs. She remembered that she didn't see Grandma at all nor did she call her when the scandal about her abandoning her father surfaced. She called Aunty Gladys after she produced evidence to ask about grandma, Aunty Gladys told her everything and asked her to keep it a secret because she doesn't want Sherry and Bryan to get worried about her, Sherry didn't say anything but usually call Aunty Gladys every day to ask about grandma's health.

She felt guilty when she saw her now visit her in the hospital even though she is ill.

Bryan also chimed in, "Yes Grandma, you should be resting by this time"

Grandma nodded, she also knew that she was getting old and her body can't handle some things.

"I just came to check to check Sherry 's health that is all, I'll be going now since Sherry is fine" She said.

Bryan stood up and said, "I'll drive you home"

Grandma shook her head, "It is fine, the chauffeur drove us here, he will drive us back. Stay with Sherry since she is okay you should go home, staying at the hospital for so long is not good" Grandma nagged.

Bryan nodded to show that he will do everything she said.

Grandma finally left with Grandma Adamson after saying goodbye.

Sherry looked at Bryan eagerly, "Grandma said you should take me " She said.

The smell of the hospital makes her want to puke, most especially the medicine.

Bryan was amused when he saw how eager she looked, he raised an eyebrow, "Call me hubby and kiss me I'll take you home, deal?" He said with a smile.

Sherry pouted and looked at him with an aggrieved look, but she would do it as far as she could leave the hospital.

She kissed him on his lips, it was a quick kiss.

"Hubby" Sherry called out in a soft tone.

Bryan felt tickled when he heard how she sounded, his Adams apple bobbled.

He closed his eyes and took a deep breath before walking towards her, he carried her in his arms. Sherry was stunned for a while and struggled when she realized that they had walked out of the ward room. She felt so embarrassed when she saw that everyone's attention was on them.

"I can walk," she said and tried to struggle.

Bryan hit her on her behind, "Behave" He said.

Sherry flushed red and buried her face in his chest, so people won't see how embarrassed she was feeling.

Bryan smiled slightly and walked out of the hospital, he opened the car door and put Sherry into the car seat.

Sherry heaved a sigh of relief when she saw that they were already outside the hospital, Bryan walked to the driver's seat and got in. He drove out of the hospital.

Sherry was sitting down at the back seat.

She closed her eyes to rest.

She fell asleep without knowing.

She had a dream.

In her dream, she was the only one inside the car when the car brake stopped working. She tried very hard to stop the car when the same truck also drove out from the right side and was driving in speed towards her.

The truck was getting near her car. She was frightened and closed her eyes quickly.

"No!!" She shouted in her dream and woke up.
