Ehan giving his father a sad look, got uttering, “I loved her, Dad but I was afraid that she would leave me one day like Mom did to you.”

Kevin uttered in a serious tone, “So you did that to her earlier before she could do it. Is that so?”

Hearing his father, Ehan got his head down once again, “Don’t be a coward, Ehan. Not everyone is the same. Trust your own instinct. Sometimes mistakes can be yours also that could make her leave you forever.”

Ehan looked at his Dad for few moments and then got uttering, “I know Dad but I already did the mistake making her leave me for good. She hates me now dad.”

Hearing Ehan’s solemn voice, Kevin got silent for few seconds. This was the first time Ehan was being like this vulnerable in front of Kevin. Kevin could feel the honesty in his voice.

A sad smile crept on his lips as he tried to cheer him up, “If your love is true and destined, she will be yours one day. Here the question is can you wait till then uncomplainingly to get her again set for the journey to be yours?”

Ehan looked at him being all confused and then spoke up, “She left that.”

Kevin again spoke up, “To where? Somewhere in this world, right? Go, get her. Ask for forgiveness. Don’t give up on your habit of winning until you win her heart again. Go.”

Ehan hugged his dad being all emotional. Patting his back, Kevin spoke up, “Don’t be a cry boy, Ehan. Have faith in your love and almighty. Go.”

Nodding at him, Ehan left his room. Getting a quick shower, he got ready and forwarded to meet Akash. He reached his office and kept waiting for him.

Arriving there after a while, Akash caught the sight of him and got near.

“What are you doing here?” Akash asked him directly.

“Where is Naira now?”

Akash gave him a confused look only to get him utter again, “For the best or the worst, let me try again. I can’t give up on her. I love her, Akash.”

Akash looked away. He was in no mood to tell him where Naira was. He couldn’t take the risk of getting her angrier on him.

“Saying this.” he forwarded to leave but Ehan got appeared in front of him in no moment, “You are not going to help me, right? Okay that’s fine. No problem. But don’t think, I will be giving up. Because I am not going to. I told you I am on a dare again and with my life this time. I going to make her forgive me. I will make her mine either by hook or by crook. This is my promise to you.”

Ehan left from there leaving Akash in dilemma what to do. Akash was caught in a battle within himself.

He was feeling to help them to get back together but at the same time he knew Naira would be more hurt if she got to know Akash was still helping Ehan.

Giving it a good thought, he looked back. Ehan was about to get in his car but got stopped as he heard Akash uttering, “Naira is in New York.”

Ehan looked back at Akash somewhat shocked. He didn’t think Akash was going to help him this time. Like he could read Akash’s mind, he answered his unasked question, “No more tears, Akash. I promise.”

Akash just nodded at that and uttering, “See you.” Ehan left from there.

He called his PA to book the ticket for New York and then drove his car towards his place in at a great speed. Taking leave from his father, he left for the airport.

Though it would be early but without caring, he reached the airport and kept waiting. When he heard about the announcement of flight, he forwarded taking a deep breath.

Out of nowhere Mack and Rivan got into his sight as they sat right beside his seat.

Seeing him, Mack got uttering, “Why are you here? Shouldn’t you be resting?”

This made Ehan remembering the earlier incident as he got uttering, “Sorry about that day guys. I was disturbed.”

Both of them nodded and Rivan spoke up, “We know. Anyways are you okay now?”

“Not exactly but I will be okay.” Ehan uttered tring to cheer himself up feeling it was needed.

Rivan and Mack exchanged glances of each other and then Mack got uttering, “Would you mind to tell us now what’s the matter with you actually?”

Ehan looked at them and uttered, “Guys, I am in love.”

Mack and Rivan got all shocked as never in their life they thought they would get to hear this from Ehan and uttered together, “What!”

Ehan just nodded at that.

Mack uttered again, “How on earth did this happen?”

Rivan got uttering, “Who is the girl anyway?”

Ehan uttered smilingly, “You know her. The very same girl Naira, Naira Claire.”

“You mean the girl, Akash gave that dare with? She came to the hospital that day, right?” Mack gave a questioning look to Ehan.

Remembering the incident, Ehan got uttering being little angry, “Yeah and you ruined that.”

“What did I do?”

Mack got startled by his sudden angry voice but remembering his words he got that and uttered, “That shouldn’t be my fault fully Ehan. I didn’t say anything wrong. And you told the same thing to her at the last day of our college, remember?”

Ehan got sad as that moment got replaying in his mind. Breaking his chain of thought, Rivan got uttering, “By the way why was Akash being sensitive then?”

“Naira is his sister.”

This was another shock for them. They got asking in a disbelieving voice, “Come again. What did you say?”

Ehan explained them everything only to get them all silent.

After few moments, Mack spoke up, “I am sorry, Ehan. Unknowingly, I messed up everything.” Ehan gave him a sad smile as he uttered, “It’s okay. I am gonna make everything like earlier again.”

Rivan got uttering, “You sure, you are the same Ehan of ours not just someone look like him? Because I still can’t believe you are saying you are in love.”

Ehan smiled at that as he uttered, “Me too.”

Mack got uttering then, “Okay then. We will be there with you to help you.”

Ehan asked them then, “Why are you two going New York by the way?”

“Attending a wedding ceremony. You remember, Aaron? He was in college with us. He is getting married. You too should attend the wedding. He will be happy.” Rivan got uttering.

Ehan tried to say otherwise, “I don't think I would make it to”

Mack didn’t let him complete, “Come on Ehan. Cheer up. Hope for the best, buddy. You are thinking of starting afresh then it will be nice to start this way. Leaving egoist, arrogant Ehan behind and becoming caring and friendly one."

Ehan wasn’t still convinced but he agreed to them finding them giving him pleading looks.

They reached New York when it was late at night and checked in a hotel.

After gossiping for some time, Mack and Rivan left and Ehan got thinking what to do now...

The Next Day

After getting done with the meeting, Naira messaged Sam about it and forwarded towards Hina’s place.

Seeing Naira coming late, Hina spoke up, “Seriously Naira, tell me something.”

Naira turned to her as she got uttering again, “You came to attend the meeting here or because of my wedding?”

Naira got uttering with a smile, “Of course your wedding, baby. I had to meet your groom to warn him.”

Hina narrowed her eyes only to get Naira uttering, “He is going to be done with his peaceful days. Shouldn’t I warn him being a well wisher?”

Hina uttered being little angry, “Naira, are you seriously going to like this to me? Your best friend!”

Naira spoke up making an innocent face, “I am just saying the truth, Hina.”

Hina glared at her and got uttering, “You!”

“Anyways let me get ready now.” Naira didn’t let her complete and left the room smilingly.

At the wedding

Naira walked behind Hina and entered the church. Aaron, her would be groom was standing on the stage. Hina’s father took Hina there. Naira helped her with her dress.

When she reached near the stage, Aaron got ahead and forwarded his hand towards her. With a smile Hina hold his hand and got on the stage.

Leaving them, Naira stood with her other college friends at the Church at a corner. They were chit-chatting when Stella one of her friends spoke up, “Hey, look. Isn’t that guy too handsome?”

Without bothering to look, Naira speak up, “Seriously, girls. Are you here to get a groom for yourself or what?”

Stella spoke up, “At least look at him for once and then say it. I am sure you won’t be able to." still her eyes on that guy.

Naira gave her an all annoyed look as she uttered, “Really!” and then turned to the guy. Her pupils automatically got into their full length as she got uttering, “What is he doing here?"

Stella turned to her at once, “Do you know him?”

Naira turned to the direction of stage as she uttered, “I really wish to say No.”

Getting confused Stella was about to say something but got stopped as the officiant started the matrimony rituals.

Naira got aside from her place so that he couldn’t get to see her even if he turns to her direction.

The marriage rituals got completed smoothly whereas Naira was just busy hiding her from his eyes.

When the marriage ritual got finished and Hina was leaving, she couldn't help coming forward towards Hina to bid her.

She looked at the direction but he wasn’t there anymore. Did I hallucinate him!

Leaving that thought, she hugged Hina and talked to Hina and Aaron for sometime when she caught his sight again. Forwarding towards her with a smile on his face which immediately faded her smile away.

“Ehan, I am so happy buddy, you came.” Ehan hugged Aaron and then letting go of him uttered, “I am also happy to attend your wedding yaar.” his eyes got on Naira’s face who was glaring at her and then again turned to Aaron as he spoke up, “Congratulations.”

Getting her mouth near Hina's face, Naira voiced out, “See you in your reception. I have to leave now. Sorry.”

“But” Naira didn’t let Hina spoke and forwarded to leave from there. Getting out of the church, she stopped for few moments and then was about to leave but got stopped as Ehan appeared before her in no moment...
