CHAPTER 13: WEDDING

I can’t believe that I still have parents, all my life I thought I had nothing to learn because my grandfather and wife were gone. Just like as my father said, he explains everything why I am at my grandfather but I don’t even get angry with them and just be thankful that I have still parents.
I am here at my father’s house and about the divorce papers, I already signed because they send them to the hospital. Mrs. Santos is too anxious for me to annul her daughter.
“ sir your dad is calling you,” gab said.
“ okay” I we down and saw dad in the living room.
“ son comes here” I approached them.
“ by the way, this is our family lawyer Aaron, and Aron this is my son, callix” dad introduced.
“ Nice to meet you sir” I smiled in response.
“ he’s here because I’ve moved all my assets to you” why is it that my dad is too fast, I don’t know yet how to run a business.

“lian?” why is it that she’s here?
“ yes son, lian will be your assistant” my mouth fell open as my dad said. Assistant? Lian? We are both managers but why does she have to be my assistant if she is manager already.
“hi, Mr. Devera” she smiled.
“How did you get here? You are a manager, why did you just end up being my assistant” I couldn’t help but be disappointed in my tone.
“ hahaha the salary of being an assistant is higher than being a manager out there and who will deny if my boss is handsome “ seriously?
“ callix lian will be your assistant and inquiry” I looked at lian and she’s serious now.
“ inquiry?” I asked.
“ he will answer all your questions, she can also help you with other things so I make her your assistant. One more thing callix you are going to abroad with lian, Michael and gab” dad said seriously.

I saw Trisha and Alex’s names at the invitation, I felt a pain in my heart but pain because of anger, just two ago she will get married. Is she my wife?
“ you should attend that wedding callix” dad said.
“ be their guest and give them a gift that they won’t forget” dad looked at me.
“ lian go with callix and help him to find his clothes and for you too” I looked at the invitation and the wedding will be next week.
“ When am I going abroad, dad?” I asked.
“ on that wedding day” he pointed to the invitation I was holding.
“ I go to the wedding for a while before I fly, is that okay dad?” I laid the invitation on the table and stood up.
“sure” dad a short answer.
“ is it okay if I give them an expensive gift?” he looked at me.
“ like what I said give them a gift that they won’t forget” he tapped my shoulder and walked up.

“ gab get the car” gab nodded and lian looked at me.
“ do you know where we can buy our clothes?” I asked lian.
“ sir it’s already scheduled, they are waiting for us” so dad prepared it.
“ sir the car is ready,” gab said so we walked into the car.
“sir about the gift, may I have some idea so that I can help you, sir,” lian said.
“ before helping me, don’t call me sir,” I said irritably.

“ young master this is risa the owner of a boutique and also a designer” lian introduced. She insisted to call me young master.
“ MR. Devera can we know what design you want?” risa asked.
“ I want ivory tuxedo with floral design but make every floral is gold or silver” I smiled.
“ 5 days Mr. Devera” I nodded ad sat on the sofa.
“ lian, gab it’s your turn” they looked at each other and they approached Risa and tell what they want.
