Maxine’s POV

BITE my lower lip I was held on Luke's shoulder, as if by that I could support the trembling knees due to their lack of strength. I also felt as if the paper had been torn from my delicate part, even the hot liquid that flowed from there.

"Sorry love .." Lucas said in a low voice. It buried its face in my neck. It didn't move. "But why didn't you tell me?"

I'm just up to the table and persevering with the commission I get on drinks. The first time I agreed to go out was on the day of the auction. I intentionally reserved the purchase for the money I would earn in exchange for one night ... but it seems like destiny is playing tricks on me.

“Go on please ..” I seemed to have a fever despite the cold water coming from the shower.

Luke's lips slid down my shoulder at the same time as this gentle movement. little by little the former pain was replaced by a strange sensation, and I couldn’t help but moan because of it.

I have no idea what the consequences of this mania will be. I don’t know what will happen tomorrow. All I know is I still love it. and I will not regret surrendering myself to it.

IT'S past four in the morning but I'm still awake. Drowsiness is too elusive for me. I got up slightly and looked at Luke. It's fun to watch while asleep. For seven years it was probably even more g-um-wapo. no wonder the woman collects it.

A sad smile drew to his lips and he quickly kissed Luke's forehead. I got out of bed afterwards and got dressed.

Wearing a floral dress I went straight down to the lanay. light and darkness are still taking over so I’m still awake.

I went down to the beach for a walk.

I can’t count how many times I went back and forth on both ends of the shore. Feeling tired I decided to sit on the sand.

"You've scared me."

I automatically turned to the voice. I can’t figure out if the reaction on Luke’s face is angry or worried. It came up to me and sat down next to me.

“It's still cold. You shouldn’t go outside with that dress. ”

"The cold is just right."

It drew air and smiled afterwards.

“You really scared me. I thought that's where you went. I thought you left already."

I smiled sparingly and averted my gaze. It was as if my heart was touched by what I heard. But how can I say here that that’s exactly what I’m going to do? I don't want to hope. I know compensation only in exchange for money I can get what happened last night.

"Mom and I are leaving later." but I whispered in a low voice. I looked at Luke again, and that's how he frowned.

“Huh? Is there something wrong? ”

“Nothing. there is no reason for Mom and me to stay here. I have already paid. ”

Luke was silent for a moment. It stared into my eyes as if reading its contents.

“Why do you keep on doing this? Are you retaliating for what I did seven years ago? ” I could hear the growl in its voice. Nor did I escape the buildup of fluids in the corner of his eye.

“No. It’s been a long time coming. ”

"Then, what's the problem?"

"I'm the one with the problem."

"Mahal---."

"Stop. Just leave me alone. ”

"I can't."

"Luc ---."

“What do you not understand about what I said last night? Do you know what I did? I sacrificed most just to see you. ”

Consecutively I made swallows.

“I promised myself that after the auction I would stop dancing. Mom and I will start with the money I earned. ” lintanya I strained to stabilize the voice. I don’t know where I’m getting the strength to say that.

A weak sigh it let out before speaking.

“Remember when I asked if you could happen to love an extraordinary human being. And if you could accept and love him still .. ”

I don’t understand what that has to do with what we’re talking about. Anyway I just let it go.

"I was the target of the monsters on the night of the acquaintance party, and Hevo's birthday. And that was the reason why I had to leave. I don't want you to perish. ”

My forehead furrowed. I was even more confused.

"I'm one of them."

I stared at Luke. I was momentarily stunned. I couldn’t even open my mouth.

but contrary to my expectations Luke shook his head.

“I will agree. I will give you a year ... ”but he said and stopped for a moment. I knew the doubt on its face. "But lemme ask you this again .."

"Can you accept me?"
