Lena holds my hand and points her eyes to the pool “I cancel the plan, you’re not going to pick the suitcase” Lena says. “W…what?” I say in stutters. “Yeah… you’re not going to do that” Lena says. “But why?” I say. Lena heavily sighs “Cause I won’t let you do that” She says. “Hey… Lemme help you” I say. “Are you sure?” Lena says. I smile and stare at her “Yes… I’m fucking sure, trust me” I say. Lena exhales as she reaches over her phone on the table “Fine” She says.
Lena calls Dmitri and arranged the next drop for us to take the suitcase “Copy that!” Lena says through the phone. Lena hangs up the phone and points her eyes to me “We’re not going to Istanbul, they changed the plan… we’re going to Doha tonight” Lena says. “Qatar?” I say. “Yeah…Qatar” Lena says. “I never been there” I say. Lena chuckles “I’ve been there a lot! I had a friend who owns cheetah and exotic pets in his house” Lena says. “Seriously?” I say.
Lena raises an eyebrow and stares at me “Yeah… and we’ll visit his house and I’ll show you the pets” Lena says. “Wow… that’s... gosh… I'm speechless” I say. Lena chuckle, she gets closer to me and pulls my neck closer to her, she kisses my lips “Thanks…” Lena says. I look into her eyes and smile “I love you” I say in a low voice. “I love you too” Lena says as she locks her eyes to mine. “Alright now let’s pack our thing and get ready to visit Rosa and fly to Doha” Lena says.
We leave the pool and pack our thing… trusting Lena is my decision, I comfort myself and enjoy my time with her. I’m not upset when she lied to me, but it’s hard to accept the reality that I love Lena and denial about who truly she is. I risk my life for her and now I can’t believe who truly I am, I have to accept the feeling of not knowing what I am doing but I trained myself to love it. None of us knows what might happen even in the next minutes but we go forward because we believe in ourselves.
“I’m done babe!” I say as I close my bag zipper. “Lemme helps you” I say as I made my way to Lena. “No… it’s okay. I've almost done” Lena says. “Are you sure?” I say. “Yeah...” Lena says as she closes the bag zipper. I walk towards the bed and rest my ass on the bed “Ughhh…” I groan. I reach over my phone and I’m about to call Rosa “Hey, shall I call Rosa and let her know that we’ll come?” I say as I unlocking my phone. “Yeah… sounds good” Lena says. “Mmm… alright then” I say in a low voice.
I travel around the contacts and looking at Rosa’s number then I call her “Hello…” I say through the phone. “Hey! What’s up?” Rosa says. “We’ll be there in the next hours” I say. “Wow… alright, I’ll cook for both of you!” Rosa says. I chuckle “Haha… thanks! I love you” I say. “I love you too, bye…” Rosa says. I hang up the phone and put the phone back to the bedside. I’m looking at busy Lena and thinking about what I’m doing, I’m not sure about everything but my heart pushes me to do it.
“All clear…” Lena says as she gets up and made her way to me. She sits next to me and holds my hand “I’m so glad that I have you in my life” Lena says as she stares at me. I tell nothing but smile, I stare at her and looking at her beautiful eyes. “You’re so sweet!” I say. Lena chuckles as she stares at me “Mmm… I’ve been told” She says. I raise an eyebrow as my eyes point at hers, she gets closer to me and kisses my forehead gently.
I could felt the electric magic energy travel around my body when Lena kissed me and that causing me crazy over her. “Alright, we’ll drive to the apartment and see little Ali. Uhhh… I missed her!” Lena says. I chuckle “You miss Ali or miss the food?” I say. Lena laughs and rolls her eyes “Fine! I missed both” She says. I chuckle as my eyes looking at laughing Lena “Gotcha!” I say as I ticking Lena’s hip. I can’t describe how much I love her and completely accept her in my life.
I've never been happier before I meet Lena, even though Ben is the right man for me, I’m not happy with him, I never happy actually. Ben is a very loving partner and I’m glad that I ever had him in my past life. Now I have Lena as my partner in present and I couldn’t be happier anymore. Lena and I leave Whitestone and drive to the city center of Queens to visit Rosa and little Ali. The universe drives me to meet Lena and having a happy life with people around me.
I met Lena by accident… I pick my poison and it’s her. It’s dangerous to fall in love but I want to burn with her. “I can’t believe you go with me” Lena says as she drives the car. “You supposed to be happy besides to not believing me like that” I say as I point my eyes to the road. Lena whooshing breathes softly “Fiuhhh… you were right!” She says. We arrive and Lena parked the car, I could smell the sweet cake smells in the air as we both arrive at the parking lot.
The smells that I’ve always miss every time I leave this place, the cake shops fill the block and that reminds me of my college life and friends. Ben and I used to sit at the corner table and ordered our favorite cheesecake, with nuts on the top of the cake. “Hey, can we go there before we left?” I say as I point the cake shop with my index finger. “Sure, why not! I’ll buy some cakes for my friends” Lena says. Lena and I leave the parking lot and made our way to the apartment.
“Gosh, I miss you so much!” Rosa says as she hugs me. Rosa removes herself from me and hugs Lena. “Hey, how are you doing?” Lena says as she hugs Rosa. “Ughh… like usual” Rosa groans. She let us in and we sit in the living room “Oh my God, I miss this place…” I say as I stroking the couch handle. “It’s pretty hard living here without you both by my side, no one could help me with Ali” Rosa says as she put the glasses of orange juice on the table.
“It’s better if you both stay with us” I say as I sip the orange juice and stare at Rosa. “Yeah… couldn’t agree more!” Lena says. “Mmm… I wish I could, you know I have no job for now. Thank God mom still supported me financially” Rosa says as she heavily sighs. “Maia and I’ll take care everything, you don’t need to be worry about” Lena says. I choked by the orange juice “Huk…huk…” That causing my throat burns. “Hey, you okay?” Rosa says.
“I’m fine” I say as I clean my mouth. Letting Lena take care of Rosa and little Ali that same as I drag them to Lena’s scary dangerous thug life and ruin Rosa’s life oneday. I don’t mind if Rosa and little Ali stay with us, I would love to but thinking about the long-term effect that could affect their life oneday makes me change my mind and I won’t let that happen. “It’s time for lunch… I cooked for us” Rosa says. We walk towards the kitchen and sit together at the dining table.
“I miss this moment!” Rosa says as she serves the food. “Me too!” Lena says. Having lunch with Lena and Rosa today is the best lunch I’ve ever had. It’s not about the food and the place, it’s about being together with people that I love. I’m thankful for every moment I had with Lena, there are moments in our life when we meet someone and we feel as if we have known them all our lives and I feel the same for Lena. Whether it was fate or a lucky coincidence, I’m glad I met her.
