We walk downstairs and all people busy with their thing… my mom packing her things and my grandma watching her. Rosa cooks for breakfast in the kitchen as she holds little Ali in her other hand. “Morning mom…” I say. “Hey, baby… morning” My mom says as she tidies up the mess. I run towards my grandma and hug her “Ughhh… I can’t believe you guys will leave me alone here” I groan. My grandma giggles “Ohhh… really?” She says.
I furrow my brow and stare at my grandma “W…what?” I say stutters. My grandma raises an eyebrow in a smirk as she points to Lena who standing next to my mom “Ahhhh… Abuelita!” I say as I tickling her. My grandma laughs as she removes my hand from her “Hahaha… stop! I’m too old for this…” She says as her face getting rosy because of the laugh. Lena walks toward the kitchen and helping Rosa with little Alison.
I get up from the couch and leave the living room, I walk to the kitchen and I see Rosa and Lena had a little chit chat “Hey… what are you guys talking about, that sounds fun…” I say as I sit next to Lena and little Ali. “Ahhh… we talked about Rosa’s first date after divorced” Lena says as she putting little Ali on the table. “Seriously, how was it?” I say. “Ewwwwhh… that was fuck up!” Rosa says as she rolling her eyes and lean at the fridge.
“WHAT!!! WHY?” I say as I highly raise my voice. “That fucking man catfish me… with a different picture on the dating app, he doesn’t even shave his mustache! And he has no neck” Rosa says as she tried to not laugh. “Jeez…! What the fuck! Hahaha” I laugh as I hit Lena’s shoulder gently. “Auchh babe!” Lena says as she stroking her shoulder. “Gosh… is that hurt babe?” I say. “Nope… but you’ve always hit me when you’re laughing” Lena says.
“Gosh… sorry baby, that’s my fucking bad habit” I say as I’m stroking Lena’s shoulder. Lena smiles and takes my hand, she kisses the palm of my hand “That’s okay babe… I’m not mad tho” She says. “Alright… all done!” Rosa says as she taking the food out of the microwave and put the food on the table. “Ahh great!” I groan. Rosa takes little Ali from Lena and puts her on the high chair. Rosa yells “Time for breakfast ladies” She says.
My grandma and my mom come here and sit with us “Alright Mrs. Maritza La Luna… it’s our last breakfast together and enjoy the food… but we’ll be gathered like this again in the next few months” Rosa says as she kisses my grandma’s cheek. We enjoy the food, talking… laughing… and drink champagne before everyone leaves. We finish the breakfast and help my mom taking all the things to the parking lot. Lena and Rosa carry the bags and I carry little Ali with me.
All of us walk to the parking lot… and saying goodbye to each other before my mom and Abuelita leave. “I’m gonna miss you mommy” I say as tears come through of my eyes and go down to my cheeks. “I’ll miss you too…” My mom says as she wiping the tears on my cheeks. “Go to Jersey and visit us” My mom says. “Mmm, I will” I say. I hug my grandma tightly as tears come through of my eyes “See you later Abuelita” I say. “Aghhh… don’t cry! You're 24” My grandma says as she stroking my back.
I remove myself and smiles… all of us are saying goodbye to them and watch them get into the car. My mom opens the car’s window and yells “See you soon Mija! And see you Blanca!” My mom says as she waves her hand. “Bye… See you soon!” Rosa and I say as we waving our hands. Lena stares at me “What is the meaning of Blanca?” She says in confusion. I chuckle “That’s mean a white girl” I say as I point to Lena’s eyes.
Lena exhales heavily and chuckles “Fiufff… sounds nice” She says. I chuckle and stare at Lena, we back to the apartment together. I lean on the couch and turning on the TV “Ughhh… it’s so fucking quiet here” I say. Rosa comes and sits on the next couch “Yeah…” She says. “Where’s Ali?” I say as I’m looking around the place. “Sleeping on the crib” Rosa says as she sips the coffee. Lena come with a bunch of paper bag in her hands, I turn around “Gosh… what’s that?” I say.
“It’s your fucking clothes babe!” Lena says as she put the paper bags on the table. “Wow… that’s hella much” Rosa says. “Yeah… and we’ll be there for two weeks not months” I say as I’m looking at Lena. “Well… this is not only for you but also for everyone's here” Lena says as she unboxing the bags. “Here’s for you… and this for my little Ali” Lena says as she gives the bag to Rosa. “Wow… this so cute!” Rosa says as she taking the clothes out of the bag.
I take the paper bag and checking on the clothes… I’m looking at the price tag “Baby… it’s pretty expensive, we don’t have much money for this” I say as I staring at Lena. She gets closer to me and sits next to me, she rests her hand on my shoulder “We have the money… and I could buy more than this just only for you, my dear” Lena says as she kisses my cheek. “But it’s almost 300$ for each clothes” I say as I furrow my eyebrows.
Lena kisses my cheek and chuckles “That’s okay babe, no worry” She says. “Thank you so much my dear little sister in law” Rosa says as she unboxing the clothes. Lena smiles as she looking at me… “So let’s put this on your bag” Lena says. “Mmm… alright” I say. We take all the paper bags and boxes, we walk upstairs and packing all the clothes in my bag. Lena got a call from someone, she picks up the call and walks towards the window. “Alright… we’ll be there” Lena says on the phone.
Lena walks closer to me in dismay… “What happened?” I say as I closing the bag zipper. “We got a problem” Lena says as she closing her bag zipper. “There some miscommunications between me and the ticket man when I booked the flight tickets… and the ticket man just called me and says that we should be at the airport in 2 hours and flight to Phuket today” Lena says as. “W…what!” I say as I highly raise my voice and stand up. “Yeah… and thank God, we’re in business class” Lena says.
“Business class!” I say. “Yeah babe…why?” Lena says as she gets closer to me and rests her hands on my hips. “B…but that’s expensive. And we’ll be on a long flight” I say as I point my eyes to hers. “Mmm… that’s why I booked the business class for us and I don’t want you to hurt your back cuz of sitting so long at the plane” Lena chuckles. “Ahhh that’s so sweet and so expensive” I say as I stare at Lena’s lips. Lena stares at my lips “Mmm… everything for you, my lover” She says.
Lena kisses my lips gently with all love that she had for me… we stare into each other’s eyes, I could see all the love she had for me inside her pretty brown eyes. “So let’s prepare ourselves” Lena says as she stroking my lips with her fingers. “Sure…” I say. We clean all the mess and stacking our bags. I change my clothes to a casual look and put my makeup on. “You look great baby...” Lena says as she hugs me from the back.
“I’ve been told” I say as I put the lipstick on. Lena runs her hand to my boob and squeezes it “Mmmh…” I moan in a low voice as Lena keeps touching my boob and rests her chin on my shoulder. I turn around and rest my hands on Lena’s shoulders “Save your energy to fuck me on the cozy king bed” I say as I’m looking at her eyes. Lena chuckle “Hahaha… that’s right” Lena says as she points her eyes to mine.
“Alright… it’s time to go” Lena says as she removes herself from me. We take the bags and walk downstairs… “Guys… what is it?” Rosa says in confusion. “We gotta go right now, our flight is in two hours” I say. “What!” Rosa says as she highly raises her voice. “Yeah…” Lena sighs. “Alright lemme book the Uber” Rosa says as she booked the Uber for us. “Ahh… thanks” I say. “He’ll be here in 5 minutes” Rosa says as she takes our bag.
Rosa walks us to the parking lot and helping us with the bags… we’re waiting for the Uber at the sidewalk. “Here he is” Rosa says as the Uber drives closer to us. “Alright…” I say. We put all the bags in the car and the driver helping us. “I’ll miss you” I say when I’m hugging Rosa. “I’ll miss you too…” Rosa says as she stroking my back. Rosa removes herself from me and hugging Lena “Take care” Rosa says as she stroking Lena’s back.
“We will” Lena says. Lena and I get into the car… “See you soon!” I’m yelling from the car as I waving my hand to Rosa. “Take care…!” Rosa yells and waves her hand. I smile and give her blow kisses “Byeeeee… love you!” I say. “I love you too!!!!” Rosa yells as the car is starting to go. We on our way to the airport, Lena holds my hand as she keeps on her phone calling her friend during our way… I hold Lena’s hand tightly and staring at the street, I occasionally smiling… I can’t believe that I finally leave Queens and had my first vacation with Lena, the love of my life.
