LENA’S POINT OF VIEW
I’m on my way to happiness… don’t know where I’m going but I’m on my way. The blue sky accompanying me, the birds flew around the clouds. Today is my happy day… I’ll take my sister to meet Maia’s family and having dinner together… but my day just ruined after my phone suddenly rang... I reach the phone from the car seat next to me “Ugh…” I reach the phone as I staring at the phone screen “No…Shit” I mumble cause I see Sasha's name just pop up in the notifications bar. I answered the call cause she called me more than 3 times in like 5 minutes.
“Jeez… what the fuck you want from me” I sigh. “I’m here for your promises!” Sasha exclaims. “I can’t… please don’t do this… I’m begging you” I sigh heavily. Sasha scoffs “Alright then… the secret and lies will release soon… I cannot wait for this… I cannot wait to see that bitch leave you” She says in snickers as she hangs up the phone. “Fuck…” I throw the phone and I hit the steering wheel. “I fucking hate this woman, why won't she just let me living my life and happy” I say as my eyes keep the focus on the street. I have no idea if Maia knows all of my secrets… she may leave me in one shoot and never come back.
MAIA’S POINT OF VIEW
I drive my way home… my mind keeps thinking of what Ronnie did in the parking lot. I felt guilty for her, I could see deep into her eyes that she’s really disappointed and mad with me. I hurt her… I hurt her feelings. My first impression was wrong and I know that… I don’t even tell her that I had a girlfriend before. “Ughh… screw me” I curse myself in anger. I drive home and I finally got home. I parked the car and I didn’t see Lena’s car here. “Ahh… where’s Lena” I reach my phone in my bag and calls Lena.
“Hey babe… where are you?” I say as I walk through the apartment. “I on my way, we’ll be home in 30 minutes honey” Lena says as she mounting when she says honey. “Umm… alright then, take care… and why you mouthing like that” I say. “My sister is next to me right now… I might burn her single ass” Lena laughs. “Jeez… okay babe see you soon” I say as I hang up the phone and I finally got home “I’m home” I say and I walk to the living room. “Where’s mom and Rosa?” I ask Abuelita who sits on the couch.
“They went to the grocery store” Abuelita says. “Ahhh… I see” I threw myself to the couch and sit next to my grandma. “I messed up nana… I’m asshole” I say as I lean myself on the couch and sigh. “What’s happening?” She says. “You know… I took a girl with me who I just knew for a couple of hours and I’m about to make out with her… but thank god Lena came before that… now I felt guilty for both of them” I say as I take some cookies from the table and chews that. “Well… that’s fucked up” Abuelita shook her head and sighs.
“Ughh… I have no idea why the fuck I do that… that’s probably because I was mad at Lena cause she’s avoided me for a couple of days and I felt lonely… what can I say… I’m human” I heavily sigh as my eyes staring at the ceiling. “And how bout Lena? Does she fine with that?” Abuelita says. “Ughh… thank God she’s fine and Lena does not wanna talk about it anymore… but… that girl haunts my mind… I felt so fucking guilty to Veronica” I say in highly sigh. “Mmm… bet you need to talk to her as soon as possible” Abuelita raises an eyebrow and sighs.
“Yeah… maybe” I highly sigh. “You know… when I’m with Lena I felt like I’m so fucking in love with her… but on the other side I felt like she’s hiding something from me… I could see in her eyes” I say as my eyes pointing to my grandma. “Mmm… lesbian basic radar…” My grandma says as she shook her head. “I’m not considering myself as a lesbian yet…” I say as a slight hint of annoyance in my voice. My grandma raises her eyebrow and chuckles “Do you…?” She takes off her glasses as she bites the handle of the glasses and chuckles.
“You were right… I’m gay” I say in highly sigh. “Fiufffffhhh… I don’t know when it’s over” I say as I lean myself on the couch and closing my eyes. “Time will tell… birds will fly” My grandma says as she pointing her eyes to the TV and sips the coffee. “Hey… we’re home” Rosa says as she put the grocery bag on the table. “Hey, mama bear… give her to me” I say as I take little Ali from Rosa and carry her with me. “Hello… mama bear… I missed you so much” I kiss little Ali's toes and she giggles at me.
“Wowww… that’s her first giggles today! She cries a lot in these past few days” Rosa says. “Is that true mama bear…” I say as I play with little Ali’s nose. “Hahahaha…” Little Ali laughs so hard. “Jeez… see” I say. Everyone in this room laughs because of little Alison, she makes everyone’s day. “I love her eyes… it’s so pretty” I say as I keep kisses Alison's cheek. “Yeah… hope she turns gay as her aunty so no boys in my house” Rosa says as she giggles at me. “W…what did you said?” My mom says in stutters.
“Aunty? Which aunty?” My mom says as she stares at us in confusion. Rosa scratched her hair as her eyes point to me and little Ali, I bulge my eyes and shook my head. Abuelita covering me “Christ… it’s almost 5 PM… don’t disappoint our guest! Follow me, I’ll cook Taco for dinner” Abuelita says as she pulls my mom to the kitchen. “Jeez… Rosa! What the hell” I say in exclaims and mounting. “I…I… I’m so sorry! Fuck I forgot” Rosa stutters in a whisper as her face is about 8cm from mine. I put my hand on my head and highly sigh.
“So how long you’ll keep this secret from mom! It’s better if you tell her before she knows by herself!” Rosa says as she points her eyes to the kitchen. “I’ll think about it… and I’m working on it! I just have no idea how to tell this” I say in dismay. “You know that I’ll die if mom and dad find out about this” I say in dismay. “I know…” Rosa shook her head “But Abuelita will cover you, so do I… don’t worry little sister, I’m in your path… like always” Rosa says. I hug Rosa and smile “Thank you so much… I’m so grateful that I had you in my life” I say. “No worry… I’m here” Rosa says as she hugs me back.
“See! Little Ali is with you too!” Rosa says as she saw little Ali plays with my hair. “Look at you blondie… you love your tyty so much” I say as I point my eyes to little Ali. “What?! Blondie” Rosa raises an eyebrow. “Yeah… look at this” I point my finger to little Ali’s hair “Her hair starts grew blond” I say. “Lemme sees…” Rosa gets closer to little Ali and checking her hair. “Jeez… why are you so much alike to your Papi” Rosa says as she lowered her eyebrow. “Guess we have Caucasian girl in this house… yeeppy” I say as I play with little Ali's toes. Little Ali giggle… “Jeez fuck me” Rosa sighs.
