I get up every morning and I never thought my day is going to be a great day, I never know when it’s going to be over but today I refuse to have a bad day. My today goal is to spend all the time with people around me, the one I love, the one that I care about, and the one who always be by my side. You know… when we have each other, we have everything. My family loves me so much… and now I have Lena as the love of my life. I start my day by seeing Lena’s smile… the smiles that came out of her face reminded me of the sunshine that shore the world every time we wake up in the morning.
“Why are you looking at me like that? And you’re grinning in front of my face like a high school crush” Lena says. “Jeez… is that bothering you?” I state with annoyance and a slightly raised brow. “No… that’s not… I like it and that’s kinda hot” Lena says. “Jeez fucking sick…” Rosa says as she cuts the chicken. “Damn why…? Rosa” I say as I shrug my shoulders. “Please… I don’t want to hear or see your 365 dirty sheets in my kitchen” Rosa says. “Jeez…” I scoff. “You better help me rather you talk garbage in front of the food” Rosa says as she puts the chicken in the microwave. “Alright alright mam…” I say as I walk through Rosa's side.
I’m helping Rosa with the food and Lena watches us as she sits on the dining chair, chewing the cookies. “Did you talk to your sister babe?” I say as I cutting the carrot. “Yeah… she’ll be here this afternoon… I guess” Lena says. “Wow… that’s cool… all the family will be here for dinner” Rosa says. “Yeah…” Lena says. My mom suddenly comes as she carrying little Ali in her hands “She’s crying… I thought she’s hungry” My mom says. “Alright… give her to me” Lena says. Lena takes little Ali from my mom “Hey… little bear” Lena plays with little Ali.
“Have you guys finished?” My mom says. “Mmm…not yet” I say as I keep cutting the veggie. “It’s 7 AM already” My mom says as she takes the knife from my hand. “Jeez mom…” I mumble. “Hush… go…” My mom told me to go. “Jeez…” I leave my mom and walk to Lena, I sit next to Lena. “Hey… look at her” Lena says as she teasing me with little Alison. “Jeez… stop” I say in a gloomy face. “Let’s get out of here” I pull Lena’s hand and walking through the living room. I threw myself and lean on the couch “Ughhh…” sigh me.
“What’s matter with her?” Abuelita asks Lena. “She’s become sulky since we got here” Lena chuckle. “Jeez guys… can you guys just give me a second” I say in a sigh as I lean myself on the couch. Little Ali pulls my hair and plays with it “Hey… come here baby” I take little Ali from Lena. “Bububu… abuuww… hello baby bear… you grew up so fast! You're getting bigger and heavier baby” I say as running my face to Ali’s belly and kisses her. “This is just me or I felt you already fit to have a baby” Abuelita chuckles. I mentally wanna go slap myself as I know that my grandma is obviously teasing me.
Lena scoffs “Pffttt….” Then she chuckles. I stare at Lena with annoyance and a slightly raised brow “What?” I say. “Mmm… nothing” Lena says as she chews the cookie. “I don’t think the woman next to me wants a baby…” I say as my eyes point to Lena from the top to the bottom. “Do you?” My grandma asks Lena. “No… I really want a baby, especially from the woman who sits next to me right now” Lena raises an eyebrow in a dirty way and she points her eyes at my lips. “Jeez” I say as I covering her eyes with my hand. Lena and Abuelita laugh. “Hey… It’s time to breakfast” Rosa yells from the kitchen. “One sec…” I say.
We walk to the kitchen and sits together at the dining table… sits at the dining table with the people who I love, starting our morning with smiles on our face and laughing together that makes me so happy. “You’re so pretty this morning honey, you had something important to do?” My mom says as she chewing the food. “I don’t see myself that way” I say while sipping the carrot juice. “Then you’re blind” Lena says. “Yeah… I agreed” my mom chuckles. “Pffftt… can you guys just give me one sec to breath” I roll my eyes as I eating my food.
My family loves teasing me as Lena does… and I love them so much. “Mrs. La Luna, I invited my sister to come here today, is that okay for not telling you first?” Lena says. “Ahh… that’s okay, she’s family too… tell her to come early. So we can gather together any longer” My mom says. “Sure…” Lena says. We continue our breakfast and finished. Everyone finished and they spending time in the living room… watching movie together. Lena and I still left in the kitchen, I walk to the microwave and take my chocolate pudding inside it.
”Oucwhhh…Jeez Christ” I mumble as I’m licking my whole fingers. “What’s wrong babe? You okay?” Lena says. “I’m good babe… My pudding is too hot, I can’t eat it” I say as I walk towards Lena and sit next to her. Lena chuckle… “You’re hot too but I still eat you” Lena says. I raise my eyebrow and staring to Lena’s lips “Ahh… come here” I pull Lena’s neck and put my hand on her neck, then we kissed. Lena put her hand on my cheek and stroking it “You completes my life” She says. We stare into each other’s eyes... I reach Lena's hand on my cheek and kiss her hand.
“You complete mine too” I say in a low breath. A sweet smile came through Lena’s face… “I love spending my life with you” I say as my eyes stare into Lena’s eyes. Lena smiles and says “I’m so grateful to have you in my life” She’s about to kiss me but Abuelita suddenly comes. Abuelita pretends to not seeing us and left after she grabs her orange juice. Lena and I giggle… “Jeez thank God that’s not my mom” I say. “Yeah… but god, I hope so” Lena says in a raspy voice as the dirty smile came out of her face. I chuckle “Haha…”.
Lena stares at me and stroking my hair… “Alright… it’s an off day! So let’s starts the day” Lena pulls me to the living room, we join all of the family and watching movie together. I stare at all the family members' faces and smiles occasionally came out through my face. “This is what I wanted… this is what I dreamt for” I say deep inside. Lena makes me happy… she completes my empty life, she’s the love of my life and I hope I could be with her forever… to this life and to the next life.
