Drives my way home… same night, same pain and same problem. I’ll be alright… I just need some time to learn how to feel okay with myself again. “Jeez…” I mumble as I realize that I left my charger on my work desk. “Shit…” I turn around my car and back to the office. “It’s 8 PM” I say while staring at the top of my phone screen. I drive my way to the office and I see a couple of cars still parked in the parking lot. I parked my car and get out of the car, I left my bag in the car and walk to the office by myself.
“Hey… you here” The receptionist man says. “Hey… I left my charger and I’m back to take it with me” I say while holding the phone in my hand. “Alright then… good night” He says. “Thank you sir…” I say. I walk to my workplace and it’s too dark here. “Shit…” I say deep inside. I turn on the light and walk to my desk… I’m looking for my charger and I cannot find it, I keep looking and I found the charger under my work desk. “Thank god” I sigh. I take the charger with me and leave my desk.
There’s a couple of employee in the next room, they might the overtime workers. I pass the room and there’s one girl who calls me from the room “Hey” She says. I turn back myself and pointing myself with my own finger “Me” I say. “Yes, you” She says. “Do you work here?” She says. “Yeah… why?” I say. “Ahh… cool” She says. “Nice to meet you by the way” She says as she points her hand to mine. “Nice to meet you too” I say then I shook her hand. “Alright… I gotta go… It’s kinda late” I say.
I’m about to leave that girl but she waves her hand and says “Hey… hey…” She comes closer to me. “Yes?” I turn myself back. “Hey, would you like to go out with me tonight for some drinks?” She says in a rosy cheek. “Yeah… sure” I say. “Alright… one second” She runs to her workplace and takes her bag with her. “Alright… let’s go” She says. “Does it not interfere your working hours?” I say as my eyes looking at her. “Ah… I finished my work an hour ago” She chuckle. “Ah… Alright then” I say while my eyes looking at Lena’s room.
“Hey don’t you mind walking by yourself and waiting for me in the parking lot? I need to pee right now” I say. “Alright sure” She says. She left and walk towards the parking lot. I look around and making sure that there’s nobody here. “All clear…” I say in a whisper. I sneak to Lena’s room quietly, then I turned the doorknob and opened it carefully. “Ah… gotcha” I say in a whisper. I come into Lena’s room and lock the door, I turn the light on and I walk to her desk. I checked her desk and the drawers.
“Shit! I found nothing” I’m mumbling as my hand hits the desk softly. “Jeez” I put my hand to my head and sigh. I hope I find something that makes Lena talk to me, but I found nothing. I left her room in disappointment. I walk to the parking lot and I see the girl is waiting for me in the parking lot corner. “Hey” I’m waving my hand. She smiles and opened the car’s door for me… “I bring my car too” I say as I pointing my car with my finger and staring at my car. “Ah… damn” She says.
“Mmm… It’s okay, I’ll leave my car here and back here tomorrow” I say as I get into her car and sit. She closes the door and gets into the car, I don’t know where to go, neither her. “So where will we go” I say as my eyes looking at her. “Umm I’ll take you to Dutch Kills” She says. “That’s cool! I never visit that bar since I graduated from high school. Ahh… I love that place” I say as I lean myself to the seat. “What’s your name?” I say as my eyes looking at her. “Gosh… we don’t even know each other name” She says.
“I’m Ronnie by the way” She says as her eyes pointing me. “You can call me Maia” I say as a smile come out of my face. “What a nice name” She says as her eyes keep focusing on the street. We listening to music on our way and we finally arrived. “Okay here we are” She says as she parked the car. “Ahh… great” I say happily. We get out and walk to Dutch Kills… “Damn, I fucking missed this place” I say as my eyes staring at the Dutch Kills Bar. “Glad you like this place…” She says, then she pulls my hand and we walk together.
Both of us sit at the front bar “Ahhh… this place is still same” I say while my eyes staring at the ceiling. “Yeah… I’ve always here since I moved to Queens” Ronnie says. “So you moved here? Since when?” I say curiously. “Umm… that’s probably 2 years ago, I guess…” Ronnie says. “So what would you like to drink Maia” Ronnie says as she gives me the menu. “Mmm… I don’t need the menu, I know exactly what I gonna drink for tonight” I say. “One margarita please…” I say as I wave my hand to the bartender man.
“Two please…” Ronnie says. “You can put that on my tap....” Ronnie says to the bartender man. “No…no…I’ll pay my own” I say. “Gosh… I take you out, so the bill on mine” Ronnie says as she winks at me. “Umm…okay as you wish captain” I say as a sweet smile came through my lips. “So… tell me about you Maia” Ronnie says while she drinks the margarita. “I’m Maia La Luna, I’m an asshole…” I say, before I finish my sentence… Ronnie laughs. “Jeez… I’m serious” I say then I chuckle.
“And I think I’m gay as fuck cause I love girls a lot” I say. Ronnie raises her eyebrow and she says “Wow… Interesting” then she bites her bottom lip. “And then… I graduated from St John’s and dedicate myself to Purple right now” I say while I drink the Margarita. “Mmm… how about you Ronnie?” I say as my eyes keep looking at her pretty face. “I’m Veronica Carter, people called me Ronnie. I’m originally Brooklyn's… and Queens not that bad as people say. I started to like this place today” Ronnie says as she pointing her eyes to mine.
“Umm… that’s so cool” I say then I sip the margarita. I could say that Ronnie is a beautiful Caucasian woman, she has long wavy blonde hair, blue eyes and nice lips. Her legs are above her neck… her height might same as Lena's. She’s kinda cute… “Jeez… why are you looking at me like that?” Ronnie says as she chuckles while sipping the margarita. “Am I look at you?” I say in a low voice. “Yes… you are” Ronnie chuckle. “Jeez… I might have a short-term memory” I say as I drink the margarita.
Ronnie chuckles “Hehe… you kinda cute” She says. “Why used the kinda word if you can use, soo...before the cute word” I scoff. “Hahaha you were right” She stares at me then she gets closer to me. “Mmm… can we talk about something else” She says in a whisper. “Well… I guess” I say in a slow breath as my eyes looking at her lips. We both it’s about to kiss but my phone suddenly rang “Jeez…” I realized then I take my phone in my bag. I stare at the top of my phone screen “Gosh it’s 12 AM” I say in dismay.
I move my head and stare at Ronnie “It’s 12 AM and I gotta go” I say in dismay. “Alright… I’ll drive you home” Ronnie says. We leave the bar and walk to the parking lot, Ronnie and I get into the car and drive to my apartment. “Here… I lived here” I say as my finger pointing to the apartment building. “Alright…” Ronnie parked the car “Here we go” Ronnie says. “Thank you” I say. “I’ll walk you home” Ronnie says as she opens the car door. “Ah… that’s okay. I’m good” I refuse her.
She gives me a little puppy eye so I cannot reject her “Okay… okay… you win” I say. We leave the parking lot and walk to my apartment. “What a good place to live” Ronnie says while her eyes staring at the building. “Yeah…” I say. I take my phone in my bag and staring at the phone screen, I finally distracting my mind from Lena. “Okay… here we are, this is my house” I say while opening the door. “Thank you for tonight” I say while looking at Ronnie. “Ah… no worries” Ronnie puts her hands on my hip.
I stare at her and smile. Ronnie runs her hand from my hip through my cheek, I stare at her without realizing I bite my bottom lip. “Guess you have a guest tonight…” Ronnie runs her fingers through my hair and stares at me. “Mmm…Perhaps” I say in a low breath as I pointing my eyes to her lips. I let her in and I lock the door. I lean against the door and she gets closer to me, she kisses my mouth, we kiss each other lips wildly while we’re walking towards my room. “Oh my god…” moan me.
We keep kissing each other lips and get into my room. I threw Ronnie to the bed and sit on her lap “Jeez… you’re so hot” Ronnie says as she slips her hand to my pants. “Ahhh…” I moan. Ronnie starts kissing my lips, we lock into each other lips and she plays her tongue inside my mouth. I moan inside her mouth softly “God…”. She moves and starts kissing my neck… we both about to making out but someone suddenly gets into my room. “WHAT THE FUCK!” Lena says in anger. I shocked then I immediately get up from Ronnie’s lap.
“What the fuck… I can’t believe this” Lena says in anger. “Who’s this” Ronnie asking me. I stand in silence as my eyes looking at Lena’s face. “I’m fucking live here, now GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE!” Lena yells. Ronnie stares at me and she’s about to leave. “GET OUT! And stay the fuck away from her!” Lena yells as she pointing her finger at Ronnie. Ronnie runs downstairs and leaves without any words. Lena stares at me and sighs “What the fuck, really?” Lena says in anger as she gets closer to me. I stood in silence as my eyes keep looking at Lena’s mad face….
