Chapter 320: Chapter 320

Chapter 320

~I wish I could turn back the hands of time~

Mr. Fanny entertained himself with Brian’s indoor workout and training as his entire body moved in tic and stretch. He admired his vigor and he could confess that indeed only few bullies could stand his audacity in jail.

Brian had saved him from the snare of death and he couldn’t thank him enough.

“I can’t thank you enough for saving my life the other day. I never knew you had self defense mechanisms and tactics,” Mr. Fanny said, still feeling itches from his broken jaw and stabbed knees that were healing gradually.

Brian panted once he got off a push-up session. “If you are too scared to fight back don’t be too scared to train hard to defend yourself. I wanted to ask you the other day what brought you to jail…”

“We owe each other that question,” Mr. Fanny retorted and winced when a sharper pain shot through his knees.

Brian dimmed his eyes at him and groaned, “Your daughter is supposed to be in jail right now. But I took her place. What we do for each other…”

Mr. Fanny interrupted with a chuckle, “It is not what we do for each other. Jupiter knows I can’t do that for her. I thought you wanted to say what we do for love. You disappeared into the blues for years and came back to finally prove your love for my daughter by taking her place in jail? What crime did she commit?” he queried, as his heart thudded with anxiety over the condition of her daughter, Kate.

Brian sniffed and wiped a tear, “Murder,” he beamed and shot a weak stare at him, “But I am not sure she is guilty. I know Kate she can’t hurt a fly.”

He pounce to his feet, trembled and drew closer to brian. “Are you sure of what you just said now? Murder? My daughter? Oh my god! What has my daughter turn into? I am really a disgrace to my generation.” He sniffed as a tear trickled down his cheeks. “The moment I stepped my feet into this place my household scattered like sheep without a shepherd. My wife divorced me for our family lawyer Ken, my daughter…” he paused and wouldn’t want to tell Brian that Kate became gay while he was away. Instead he broke down in tears. He wouldn’t want to make Brian regret his actions and change his mind about Kate.

Brian brought his hands across his shoulders rubbed and nursed him. “you have to be strong, Fanny. Your family will be redeemed and formidable again. For now what matters most is your safety and happiness. I don’t know when I am going to leave this place. I am serving a jail term of twenty years. I am going to last as long as mother earth.”

Mr. Fanny said, “Mine is ten years. I was charged with drug trafficking, my past life that came knocking.”

Brian breathed uneasily. “What about your pretty wife, Mrs. Fanny?”

“I thought I told you she was married to my lawyer Ken, after she gave up on me the moment I got in here. They are happily married now and they must be blessed with wonderful kids now?” he said, unaware that Mrs. Fanny had committed suicide like a dog.

“It is a pity. She acted implacably. I just want you to see all that has befallen you in an impervious sight and ensure you finish strong. For now I will protect you from those bullies until you earn their respect.”

Mr. Fanny breathed hard, shook hands with him and then a hug that seemed to be forever…

They were at it for a time that seemed to be too long. Already Mr. Fanny had started sobbing as he kept murmuring his appreciation into the ears of Brian.

“Despite my tears and my asking for forgiveness your mother still went on to marry another man,” Ken said through goaded face and red eyes that seemed watery from pain.

Blueyes stole a glance a t him, and afterwards smiled at Jacy and Rodriguez as they faced each other at the altar to exchange marital vows before the church.

“Are you sure you did that?” Blueeyes asked, still at his smiles as he fancied his mother’s tone of voice the moment she replied, “I do.”

Ken shook his head, “Of course and she gave me the reply that I have always wanted. She told me she had forgiven me, even we kissed and hugged.”

Blueeyes raised a brow at him and blushed, “So did you propose to her. She can claim to have forgiven you, even lick your ass because you were her ex. You didn’t redeem her heart. You only amended bridges forgetting that some other person built a new one. This very Rodriguez must have played a vital role in her life while you were away with that bitch.” He stole a glance at his father thinking he would be upset as usual when he called Mrs. Fanny bitch,

But hell no! Ken never winked an eye! Why would he anyways?

Rather he added, “Mrs. Fanny was indeed a bitch. Your mother is currently the richest CEO in the world now, whose conglomerate tops the chart with whopping twenty billion dollars annual revenue. No one has beaten that record in the history of advertising industry. It offends me to know that the said richest CEO happens to be the mother of my kid, whom I abandoned and dejected because of some bastard and bitch that called herself Mrs. Fanny.”

Speedy, warm tears trickled down his cheeks with endless sobbing and sniffing.

“Even in the grave I would never Mrs. Fanny. Just look at Jacy now. Another man has taken my place in her heart. “I wish I could turn back the hands of time. I wish I could make her mine and together we forge on the Empire Advertisers.” He sobbed greatly now.

“This is not the time for wishes, daddy. Reality is knocking you got to open the door,” said Blueeyes.

“You may kiss the bride,” the priest said to Rodriguez.

And Ken shut his eyes and bowed his head while Rodriguez devoured her lips in passionate endearing kiss…
