Chapter 314: Chapter 314
Chapter 314
~Coleman saves Brian from death~
“What a world we live in, a crazy world, uh, that a brother would want to kill a brother. Open your eyes, asshole,” Fred commanded, and grinned at his offender.
And when Brian opened his eyes, a silver-glistened Chinese sword was sparkling into his face, and one more stare at the face of the heavily bearded men on bike made him to remind himself that death lurked by the corner and if he was going to survive this moment it would be by the whisker.
“Trust me I never knew you were my cousin I …” his voice shivered with fear and contempt.
He was yet to speak further when Fred interjected, “Keep shut, asshole. You are not authorized to say a word unless I say so.” He placed the blade on his neck and the hotness burnt Brian so much that he feared it might tear his skin. He fidgeted yet forced to be bold and courageous to fight through if need be. With his knowledge about martial art and karate he could this arm Fred before his boys would pounce on him and if he could defend well with the help of his boys in the car he could walk away alive with few injury.
“What crime did I commit to make love to my wife in the way that pleases me? What gave you the nerves to interfere and decide how I fuck my wife, uh? Or were you also expecting me to fuck her the same way you do. Not only did you fuck my wife but you connived with her to murder me so you could have her to yourself. I writhed in pain while you smashed my head like a golf player. Now I want you to give me one reason I shouldn’t behead you and dump your corpse into this lake. I don’t give a damn whether you are my cousin or not. I am going to kill and share your corpse among the beast of the sea.”
Brian widened his gaze at him and blinked uneasily at the mention of that.
He added, “Yes my mind is made up to do that, namby-pamby, your father would be glad I took the life of a rascal son, who would go the extra mile to murder a cousin. Speak!” he snapped.
Brian flinched and swallowed hard. “I never wanted to murder you. I was only taming you. I wanted to weaken you so we could escape. Worst of it, I am innocent of it all. I never knew Ella was married to my cousin. I never knew you were you my cousin. All my life I have lived away from home so my extended relatives were strangers to me,” he sniffed and his eyes were almost welled up with tears.
“Keep shut!” he barked, “You never wanted me dead yet you dumped me into the lake to perish like a rotten fish.”
Brian added, “I thought you were dead…”
“Oh I am alive. Yes. I disappointed you and my asshole wife. The night you dumped me into this lake an onlooker was seeing you and Ella. Immediately you left he came to my rescue and took me to the hospital. I stayed under the oxygen for months, bed-ridden for months and fed only on water. I was the shadow of myself. I vowed to be strong and survive this burning moment of my life so I could come for revenge.” He snorted. “Your condition would be worst than mine because I am going to cut you into parts like a butcher and dump you right into the mouth of a crocodile. You can see them over there. They are waiting.”
Brian cast a glance at the crocodile as they croaked and soared across the lake.
“They could have eaten my body that night if not for that onlooker.”
“I am sorry cousin. It is my wish to see you alive. Please have mercy on your blood line.”
“I am sorry, cousin, it is too late to reverse a bullet on target. I am that bullet. Rest in peace, Brian Coleman…”
Fred lifted his sword to send a blow at the neck of Brian when a groaning scream interrupted him like a volcano;
“NO!”
That was the voice of Coleman being ridden in a wheel chair by grandma and the boys Brian came with.
“Daddy!” Brian called, surprised to see his father survive the coma and alive even though in a wheel chair.
“Coleman!” Fred called, shocked and spot-pinned to see his beloved cousin pale, skinny and in a wheel chair.
“You can’t take the life of my only child because of that bitch you call a wife,” Coleman said as he advanced in his wheel chair, with his face grinned and shrunken. He sniffed, “Brian, where is your phone? Show him the video tape and voice notes of Ella and the detective.
Brian confused about what action to take fondled his hand into his pocket, turned on his phone and gave it to Fred. With grinned face, Fred watched the dirty rump Ella and the police detective did in his matrimonial bed and their discussion to sweep the search for him under the carpet and he gnashed his teeth.
“My son and I have been working hard tirelessly to ensure we find you wherever you are. If you really want to take life, Ella and that police detective are your offenders. What my son did to you was in self defense which you or any other person would have done if you were in his shoes. My cousin, please forgive him my sake.” Coleman said tossing his head.
Just then the sword in his hand clanked on the floor as Fred hastily made to Coleman and hugged him hugely.
Coleman broke down in tears before Fred did same.
“I am happy to have you back, cousin,” said Coleman.
“I am happy to see you,” said Fred, “What happened to you? Why are you in wheel chair?” he inquired.
“Never mind; It is a long story,” replied Coleman….
Mystery was about to be revealed …
