~When paternity test come knocking~

The doctor had told her to return home while he thought about it but she took it to be one of his tricks of getting her out of his office, since she might have been pestering him with her problem. She was full of thought while she drove home in the taxi; she never had thought to end it this way with Ken; it would be a shameful and ridiculous scandal that would never leave the lips of haters that would hear of it. False paternity. She wondered how heartbroken Ken would be if he should get to find out she cheated on him with a strange man, a total stranger. Definitely she would never forgive herself for disappointing fanny. Things had fallen apart for her at a time she was at her prime of being walked to the altar by Ken.

Oh my God! I am ruined; she said in her thought. How did I open my legs for that fool? Oh alcohol look what you made me do. First time we met, first fuck and now I am pregnant for a man I don’t have feelings for; she thought and rubbed her baby bump.

Ken would see it as a revenge to get back at him for cheating on her with Jacy. But then the worst ridicule would be on her because Ken had proposed to her in marriage yet another worse ridicule would come from Kate , Eva and Mr. Fanny who where much aware of her die-hard decision to marry ken. They would mock her until she fell into depression. The most annoying of it would come from Kate whom she knew hated her so much now.

“What came over me? What did I do with that strange man? How did I get in bed with Teddy or whatever he is called? Why would he come into my life now I am about to succeed with my desires? Oh my goose! What an end!”

She thought as she looked out to the sky scrapers and pedestrian that threw past while they drove on.

Even Ken noticed her countenance when she got home. At the time Blueeyes was seeing cartoon in the sitting room and almost flinched when he saw her walk in; he thought she had left their home for good some days ago. As soon as Ken caught Blueeyes ‘ face which obviously was filled with anger and disgust , he knew he was enraged within himself for seeing Mrs. Fanny around and back to the house.

“Oh baby where have you been? I have been worried about you,” Ken intoned once Mrs. Fanny walked in looking all drawn and tired. He grabbed her on the waist and felt that her body was still fresh and didn’t sweat profusely as one that really went to do some work out.

I thought I left you a note.” She forced out a smile and argued within herself if she would ever be cheerful again for the rest of her life. She knew she had limted time to stay with Ken and as soon as the doctor revealed the paternity result to Ken she would be parting his life for good. She would be shamed and ridiculed all her life. Ken would madly send her packing, and could spread the news of her infidelity.

“You don’t look cheerful. Did anyone rattle your cage at your workout?” Ken asked squeezing her waist as their eyes locked at once

Blueeyes cleared his throat and distracted them just then. They threw their stare at him, and watched as he stood up threw his gaze on the wall, ran upstairs and went into his room.

“He is certainly not happy I am back,” Mrs. Fanny whispered into his face and felt aroused as his fingers found their way between her buttocks’ cheeks and separated them with a gentle squeeze

Ken scowled at her, “who cares? He is only but a kid, and he is answerable to me and not the other way round.”

She placed her hands on his shoulders and noticed he was all dressed up in sleeves shirt and she sensed he was probably out to meet with the doctor for the paternity result. Although she expected him not to say the truth, she was going to ask him anyways

“You are all dressed up,” she said and brought her fingers on his hairy chest and began to stroke the brown crisp, lush hair that carpeted his chest, “Where are you off to?” she asked and focused on his lips for his reply.

“Oh that reminds me.” He stroked his beards and still left the other hand on her buttocks. “I have an appointment with this client in town. I was just waiting for your arrival before leaving,” he replied.

She knew he wasn’t going to tell her the truth and she never expected anything less from him.

“Oh I forgot something upstairs,” he said and put his hand into his pocket, “The car key,” he said pecked her on the cheeks and ran upstairs to fetch it.

Once he left, a phone on the table buzzed and she saw that it was his phone. Quickly she made to it, surfed through it and saw that it was a message from the doctor which said:

Good day Ken! Paternity result is ready. You can come for it!

Her hands trembled while she read repeatedly and then shut her eyes in total disappointment and heart wreck. Her end had come and Ken would never forgive her especially now he had proposed to her in marriage. She wouldn’t forgive herself either because all was set for her good now but her expensive mistake was about to bring her perpetual ruin and sorrow. She died a million times in her mind and wanted to shed tears when she heard Ken banging the door and shuffling through before she hastily dropped his phone and brightened up…
