Roshni's P.O.V.

At Fazar time, I woke up for prayer. After ablution when I entered the room, I caught the sight of Ruhaan who was sleeping on the couch and he seemed to be quite uncomfortable. Seeing that, I felt guilty as because of me, he had to sleep on couch.

I woke him up and when he opened his eyes, I spoke up, "Get up. It's time for prayer."

He nodded and I started my prayer. By the time, I finished my prayer, he was saying his prayer. When he was done with his prayer and looked at me, I spoke up, "I won't sleep now again. I will recite Quran for sometime and then prepare breakfast. You can sleep on the bed now."

He kept staring at me but I started reciting Quran without bothering him. He went to sleep after sometime remaining like that and I kept reciting Quran for a good time.

After keeping the Quran in its respective place, I looked at Ruhaan who was sleeping comfortably on bed now. Seeing that, I uttered under my breath, "Tonight I will take the couch anyhow."

Then I went downstairs and in kitchen, I kept looking at the ingredients while pondering what to make for breakfast.

Then I heard Titly uttering from behind, "What are you thinking Api?"

I spoke up turning to her, "Sweetie, I am thinking of making breakfast but not understanding what to make. What types of breakfast Ruhaan likes?"

She looked at me confusingly as she spoke up, "How would I" only to get stopped saying this much and then she seemed to give it a thought and spoke up again, "Alu paratha aur gobi ki sabji." and looked at me blankly.

To stop her pressurizing her brain, I tried to divert her mind and said, "Okay, then I will make it and you come, help me."With a nod, she entered the kitchen.

When we were almost done with making breakfast, I said to her, "Go and wake your vai up. Otherwise he will be late for office. And I am setting the table."

She was about get on the staircase when the calling bell rang. She turned to me and spoke up, "I am checking it."

She opened the door and uttered, "You!"

I didn't know who was it but he also seemed to get shocked as he entered the house and spoke up, "You here!"

Titly spoke up looking straight at him, "This is my house. Why can't I be here!"

Hearing Titly, the person uttered sarcastically, "Would you mind telling me since when did it become your house? And where is Ruhaan Vai?"

Titly didn't seem to get startled as she continued, "Vai is sleeping. But what are you doing here this time?"

The person also didn't get to stop but went on, "The question is mine actually. And why are you calling him 'brother' by the way?"

Titly replied in an obvious tone, "Because he is my brother."

The person told sternly, "Oh oh..hold on. He is not your brother but mine."

I got totally dumbfounded at their behaviour and got all startled when I saw Ruhaan standing with a smile upstairs looking at them as they continued arguing with "My brother" and it was like he was enjoying it.

I was looking at Ruhaan and then at them confusingly. Ruhaan got downstairs and went up to them and uttered, "Will you two please stop it now?"

The person got near Ruhaan and asked him, "Vai, what is she doing here and why is she calling you brother? Aren't you the brother of Titly and mine only?"

With a smile Ruhaan nodded and turned to Titly as he spoke up, "Titly, go get ready. Otherwise we will be late for office."

While glaring at that person, Titly left from there. I wasn't understanding what to do.

Ruhaan then turned to me and spoke up, "Roshni, come here"

When I got near him, he spoke up again indicating that person, "Meet Shaan. He is like my younger brother and fiancee of Titly."

The person got shocked as Ruhaan was saying all these smilingly and uttered, "What's going on here, vai? Will you please tell me?"

Ruhaan then turned to him and spoke up smilingly, "The girl with whom you were quarelling few minutes ago is none but our Titly, Shaan. And she is Roshni who was taking care of Titly till now as her own sister, Tithy being unable to reach us."

Shaan seemed to get utterly shocked as he uttered, "What are you saying vai? How can she be our Titly?"

We got all seated in the living room and Ruhaan and me told Shaan everything. Shaan was about to say something but Titly came there and spoke up, "You are still here! Anyways vai, let's take breakfast. We need to leave for office."

Shaan tried to utter, "Tit" but Ruhaan stopped him holding his hand.

I took Titly with me to help me with setting the table leaving them to talk to each other.

While entering the kitchen, I turned to them for once when I saw Shaan hugging Ruhaan and I was sure they were crying.

By the time we set the table, Ammi also got down. We all sat down for breakfast and Ruhaan introduced her to Shaan.

I got all startled when all of a sudden Shaan uttered, "Vabi, what have you made for me?" and before I could say anything, Titly spoke up, "What else! Eat what we all are eating."

Ruhaan smiled hearing her as well as Shaan but he seemed trying to control his tears.

After breakfast, when we all were about to leave, Shaan spoke up, “You guys continue. I will be here with aunty.”

When I gave him a questioning look, he spoke up again, “It’s okay, Vabi. I am free this week anyway.”

Titly asked him sarcastically, “Why? Got fired?” and letting out a sigh, he spoke up, “Noo..I have to join from next week at work.”

And then we all laughed at them.

Right then kaki, the maid of the house came there and seeing so many people got startled.

Ruhaan spoke up seeing her, “Kaki, anything wrong? You got late rarely.”

She shook her head and tried to say something but Shaan spoke up, “Okay then. You all go and kaki, you come inside.”

Ruhaan's P.O.V

Leaving them at house, we left for office. Dropping Roshni at her work, we went to my office.

After office when we reached home, Roshni was already home and Shaan was also there. They were behaving like they knew each other from a long back.

Seeing that though I felt happy but as expected Titly was irritated and went on with him like 'She is my Api' and ‘She is my mother' and all this. The time passed happily till they went to sleep.

Then we three, Roshni, Shaan and me gathered in my study. Roshni explained all the happenings again and we tried to figure out who could be it behind us.

We were just reaching at one point..Tamim..

But we couldn’t trace him. I tried to contact him. His number was off.

I sent someone to his house but it was locked and when we contacted the police station, they told us that he was on leave.

We got shocked even more when Roshni said about Tamim's mother as his mother died long back when we were in school....
