Chapter 53: Chapter 53

Louis' stare was emitting a compressing aura. He was furious and it was evidently felt from the tension in the atmosphere.

Romeo's gaze was narrowed. He already knew everything that happened and how a changed person Louis Hayden had become after that incident.

Tarvan was furious. How can Pamela say such words to a child about her father? Whatever disagreement she had with Louis doesn't concern the little girl.

To speak ill of a father to his daughter and before so many people cannot be overlooked. It's unpardonable.

"Take her into the car and I will join you soon" she declared, shoving the little girl into the hands of her bodyguards, not caring about the girl's sob. She knew she would be scolded but she can take it, provided she has her daughter with her.

"Pamela, I don't know you have this personality in you. How dare you talk to Mr Hayden so disrespectfully? What has he done to deserve this public humiliation from you?

I would never take it if a woman humiliates me so openly" Turning to Louis, he continued "Sir, please stay away from this woman. She's toxic"Romeo declared.

"Romeo is right. She's highly toxic. Leave the kids with her. She only needed you to save her daughter and her aims have been achieved.

I have blamed you all these years, but today I sincerely apologise to you. You were right all along and I was wrong to have thought this woman was the right one for you. Please forgive your mother" Leah's voice rang from far behind.

She had heard Pamela's words and how she despised her son. Louis might have wronged her but this time, she's too much. She's done the worst of what anyone would ever do to her kids' father.

But it all narrowed down to her alone. All these wouldn't have happened if she hadn't brought this woman into Louis' life. Now, her regrets are coming in succession.

Her words were like a time bomb splitting Clarion's heart in pieces. The relationship she shared with Leah Hayden was never going to be the same again. From her words, she can detect pain in them.

Pamela stood rooted at a point. Romeo's words were hitting her hard until Leah's words came like a hammer, splitting her skull and filling it with some senses.

Louis Hayden passed a quick glance at his daughter as she was stuck into the car. Whatever happens, he has done his part in saving her life. That can never be forgotten.

He walked gently from before Pamela towards his car. This is how far he can go. It wasn't like he was impotent that he cannot make another babies, but he chose to go after these ones.

"Louis, please wait a minute," Tarvan called back. He just recovered his wits after what his granddaughter had said. They needed to apologise to Louis.

But the latter didn't pause in his steps nor turn to glance at Tarvan Johnson. He has no business with them and he was not someone who responded to every beckon from people.

He slid into his car and wind up the glasses. Romeo took his place and the chauffeur zoomed off.

Leah's chauffeur also zoomed off. The son and mother didn't wait a minute longer as they left the hospital premises. The little crowd soon dispersed and Pamela was going to leave when her grandfather said "Clarion, we are leaving back to our home"

"Yes, I will book the next flight to Middletown right away," Clarion replied and turned to return to the car. Tarvan followed her and they left Pamela behind.

Pamela's complexion turned ashen. She had done the worst and she will regret it starting from that moment.

Louis Hayden told the chauffeur to drive him to the cemetery. There is something he needed to correct. When he arrived there, he went to the empty tomb and desecrated it.

He spat on it and declared that it was no longer existing. The kids he thought were dead were alive. But they no longer exist in his heart.

He would take his mind off them. He's glad he hadn't met the three boys. The humiliation he had received because of the girl was enough.

Louis got back into the car and the chauffeur drove him to the company at his orders. Now, he needed to catch up with the work he had left behind while he was in the hospital.

But the Louis Hayden he was now had returned to who he used to be. He got back to his smoking habit and alcoholism. He had let emotions overcloud his strong personality.

Otherwise who is Pamela Grayson to withstand him? Is she drunk enough to stand before him and sprout nonsense?

An hour later, he received a text "Hello son, gone on vacation with your dad. When next I return, I want to see you happy with a family" that definitely was his mother.

He replied to her text safe trip mum. And yes, I will put that in mind" he would get involved with someone he can fall in love with and be married. He definitely would.

When Pamela rushed back home, her grandparents were on their way out with their suitcases. She became sorry and stared at them with apologetic eyes.

"Grandma, grandpa.." she was going to plead with them to give her a second chance when her grandfather spoke authoritatively:

"The royal family forbids kids out of wedlock. That's why we lost our daughter. We took you in not asking questions. And now that I have known who the father of your kids are, you are forbidden to step foot in the Royal house without your legitimate husband and father of your kids.

Today, I strip you off your royalty until you return with your husband. And all your finances have been frozen. The company in Middletown will no longer be run and controlled by you.

And the company here has to have its name changed and all the finances will be controlled by me and my delegates. You work there and earn just your salary. Until I find a suitable entity to sell it off to.

This is my decree as the future king and my words are law. If you do otherwise, you will be punished by the long arm of the law" Tarvan Johnson declared.

Without another word, he passed by Pamela as the servants took the suitcases to the car trunk. Clarion gave Pamela a scrutinising stare before Walking past her.

Pamela's eyes become teary. She knelt on the floor and started sobbing. She had over reacted. Her words were the reason why her grandparents left and she's alone with her kids now.

She sobbed. Her royalty was stripped off. Her power was taken away and now the finances at her control frozen. She's now left to cope with only her income.

And then the four kids. How will she look after them? She started sobbing. But the height of her tears was when she woke up the next morning and all the bodyguards and nannies announced to her that they were returning to Middletown.

"What?" Pamela exclaimed.
