Chapter 32: Chapter 32

Romeo felt helpless after he heard Louis' words. How can President Hayden be reduced to this? How can this accident that happened a few years ago leave its aftermath on him?

He suffered from a coma for several months. Now, at the peak of his romantic life with Pamela, the effect of the accident came up again.

He should be getting married to her any moment soon. But here he is, going backward by six years. The timing of his life went backward.

And Pamela, she is writhing in heartbreak and disappointment. If Louis could recall this past with Pamela, how amazing would it have been?

But he did it with the wrong person. With an imposter. With an opportunist and a filthy divorced woman. Louis is having sex with a woman he normally wouldn't have allowed to come an inch close to him.

The woman who loves him was separated from him by his mother. Mrs Leah Hayden struck Pamela in the place that is hard for her to heal.

She's wounded in heart and bleeding. Louis is guilty and confused. Why is fate and chance playing pranks on these lovers? Why can't they live happy, for once in this life.

"Romeo, did you even hear what I said? I feel so confused right now," Louis repeated and sighed.

"Take a rest, sleep and work out. I know this phase will be over soon, President Hayden. You will be alright and right everything that has gone wrong" Romeo assured him.

Louis was pleased with Romeo's words. He nodded and said "Let's go places tomorrow then" Louis urged.

"Even if you want it now, we could go wherever you want," Romeo offered.

"No, not today. I'm going off to Hayden's cooperation" he announced and Romeo nodded.

When Louis left, Romeo sighed. The assignment he gave him to investigate his father's whereabouts the last time he travelled was right in his possession. But he didn't give it to Louis, because he won't remember a thing about it.

When Louis went upstairs, Miranda Alvan strolled in. He saw that Louis had gone upstairs and she glared at Romeo with hostility.

"I hope you didn't forget Mrs Leah Hayden's words. It's for your own good" Miranda stuttered.

"You took advantage of Louis Hayden because he has amnesia. You had sex with him when you knew he was Pamela's fiance. You hurt a friend and a partner.

Just what kind of a woman are you? You knew he wouldn't do it with you in his wildest dreams. You knew he detested your flirty advances to him and yet, you seduced him to have affairs with you.

Is that how saucy Mrs Leah Hayden's offer suits you? How will you be able to face Louis when all of this is over? You have no idea how sour your relationship and partnership would be!" Romeo growled.

"Don't sermonise me. What is my business with the nonsense you are sprouting? Mrs Leah Hayden needs my help and I was willing to save the broken heart of a mother" Miranda Alvan snapped at Romeo.

"And she asked you to fuck her son as well? She told you to exploit her son, right? You are a woman and you willingly agree to break the bond of love between two lovers. Do you have a conscience?" Romeo stuttered.

"It's not my fault. She wants me by her son's side. And I need her son to fulfil my sexual needs. It's a win, win thing. I helped her and he helped me. How am I to be blamed for that?" Miranda bellowed.

She glared at Romeo and he stared at her with contempt. How can she do that to him? To a friend and a partner.

"One day you will regret it. Louis would never forgive you and that day, Leah Hayden will not be able to help" Romeo warned.

He, better than anyone else, knew just how ruthless Louis can be. When he turns his eyes on anyone, until he ruins the person, he will not rest.

Miranda will feel his wrath one day. He prayed that day would come soon. She would hardly believe he was the same Louis that grilled her hard with his dick.

"You should say that to his mother, not me" Miranda barked. Romeo was telling the truth. She knows Louis would deal with her when that day comes. But now, she wants to enjoy the ride while it lasts.

Louis returned, coming downstairs. He went to Miranda and hugged her casually and walked out, Romeo following behind.

Miranda Alvan snorted. She needed to act fast. She got into the room, picked her car keys and went out as well. She must ensure Louis doesn't recover from amnesia.

In Middletown City, Clarion waited in the royal court for Tarvan to join her. She waited for a long time before she saw him walk in with his royal attire.

"Why are you not sitting?" King Tarvan asked. He glanced at her majesty. She couldn't possibly be waiting for him since she sent the servant and will not be seated.

"The matter of urgency plunging my heart wouldn't let me be," Clarion replied, turning herself to glance at her husband.

The thoughts of the previous evening came to her mind, and a feeling of disgust plunged her heart. Tarvan's dick is now what young women now toy with, a total disrespect for her.

"Matter of urgency?" Tarvan asked, glaring at her majesty. He came closer to place his hand on her shoulder, but Clarion moved a step backwards.

"Okay. Can we talk about it later? I have to be somewhere and that also is urgent. I'll talk to you later" King Tarvan requested.

Clarion nodded and walked out on him. Tarvan turned and glanced at the retreating back view of his wife. He sighed. She probably missed him.

In Oak City, Pamela went to drop her kids in school. On her way back, she saw Miranda's car and decided to talk to her. She heard she's the one parading herself as Louis' fiance.

She overtook her car and slowed down in front of her. Indicating that she should stop. She honked repeatedly and saw that she slowed down, ready to pull up by the express.

Pamela also pulled up and alighted. Miranda Alvan smiled. Nice one. It's good she crossed paths with the woman who once owned Louis' body sucking him and all of that.

She has something to brag about. And if she dares to annoy her, she would spill the beans and let her heart shattered in hundreds of pieces.

She stood by her car and Waited for Miranda to step out. The latter did and took two steps towards Pamela before the latter did.

"How is it that the little princess looks so sad like a woman who lost her man to a prettier woman" Miranda Alvan taunt.

Pamela chuckled aloud and said "you know you can't compete with me in terms of beauty. If you doubt it, take a mirror and look at your deeply introverted eyes"
