Chapter 160: Chapter 160
"Yes, that Adulterous man is my father in-law. He is still your father, Louis" Pamela snapped at him.
Louis shrugged and glanced over Pamela's shoulders and to his Mom "Where is Dad, Mom?" he asked. Last that he knew of, his dad wasn't in the Hayden's cooperation and his illegitimate family were now lodged in the hotel.
Leah paused but didn't glance towards her son. She's trying hard to forget Ellis and Louis is asking her about him?
"Have you seen him today?" Louis probed further. He saw his mom's countenance twitching. She's really trying hard to keep herself from appearing wounded in the heart.
"I don't know a thing about Ellis Hayden" she snapped at him and then added "I will be eternally grateful if you don't mention his name anywhere around me again"
Pamela sighed softly. She glanced at Louis and the latter kept his gaze on his Mom, his lips pouting.
"What's happening to your marriage with dad now? I don't approve of what dad did. But I think you both need to talk to each other and possibly, travel for a vacation. I'll arrange for that immediately.." Louis suggested.
"Your father and I have nothing to talk about. This marriage is over. He can go to his mistress and I will be content with my grandchildren. It's all about priority" Leah declared.
"You aren't getting divorced, right?" Louis demanded. He knew his parents' marriage would experience some shaking after what Celina Delmark and her children did. But he doesn't want it to deteriorate to the horrible state of divorce.
"He should be signing the papers now," Leah replied, raising her arm and glancing at her wristwatch.
"No Aunt. Please don't do this. Are you going to leave your marriage because of another woman…?" Pamela asked helplessly.
"She's not another woman, Pamela. She's Ellis' baby mama. She's his woman and he loves her. Or how else will you explain how he got her pregnant twice and kept seeing her for all these years?" Leah interjected.
First time was a mistake. He fucked her again for the second time, it's a coincidence and when he kept drilling her for many years, what will she call that? It's intentional.
"What about me, Mom? Did you put me in the picture before thinking about getting divorced with dad at this age?" Louis asked, still having his gaze on his Mom.
"I can't help it, Louis. I'm getting divorced with your father on the basis of infidelity.." Leah declared with a tone of finality.
In a private chamber, Ellis simply tore the divorce papers and threw it in the waste bin. He glared at the attorney and said "Read my lips carefully. I am not getting separated from my wife. So this divorce thing won't work" he thundered, stood up, picked his car key and walked away.
Louis knocked on the hotel room and waited. Celina Delmark stood up and went to the door, she peeped through and was dazed at the person she saw.
Louis Hayden? How did he know where they are? Did Ellis say anything to his son? If he did, he should have at least informed them to get them prepared that Louis would be coming.
She lingered but made up her mind to open the door. There isn't anything Louis Hayden can do to her nor to his siblings. He can't make the stars fall nor can he stop the sun from casting its reflection on the moon.
She pulled the door a little and popped her head out "What do you want, Louis Hayden?" Celina Delmark demanded, putting her head out further but the rest of her body was behind the door.
Louis, rather than answer her question, glared at her with sneer. He hissed between gritted teeth and asked "Will you step aside and let me in or I help myself get in forcefully?"
Celina Delmark stared at the frosty irritating glare coming from Louis Hayden and lent herself some senses. She stepped aside and Louis strode in, leisurely.
Celina Delmark shut the door and walked over to stand before Louis. She can't believe he is the son of a man she'd been with for many years.
The aura exuding from Louis was way greater than the one from Ellis. Now, she believes a son can hold more power and an intimidating aura than his father.
Arabella walked out from the inner room and was dazed to see Louis. She couldn't hold back her excitement and chimed "Brother"
She ran over and threw herself on Louis' arms before her mother would hold her back. Her mother glared at her, this girl will get herself into deep trouble one of these days if she doesn't stop seeing Louis as her cherished brother.
Maxwell walked over arrogantly and sank into the sofa. His mother has warned him to stay away from Louis the same way fire stays away from gasoline if he wants to live long on this earth.
There was silence. Arabella circled her hands around Louis' waist and placed her head on his chest, without giving a damn if he approves of it or not.
For many years, she'd looked forward to a day like this when she would hold Louis Hayden and call him brother. Her dreams had come through and she won't let this opportunity slip off unfulfilled.
"Since I was a little girl, I have always had pictures of you in my heart. I am the luckiest girl on earth to have the cutest man in the world as my brother.
Everyday I look at your pictures, I make paintings of you and place them on my bedside. I say hello to your picture every morning and I won't forget to say goodnight before turning the bedside lamp off, every day.
I love you very much brother. You are the best thing that can ever happen to me. I love you and I miss you all these years, brother Louis" Arabella chimed.
There was silence everywhere. Neither Celina Delmark nor Maxwell can understand such praises from Arabella to Louis Hayden.
Louis on the other hand remained mute. This girl is an older version of his daughter Dora. All the females in his life are important to him.
Celina Delmark stretched out her hand to pull her daughter back when Louis raised his hand…
