"Mummy I miss you" David told his mum, why don't you always come with second mummy anytime dad comes visiting.
"Who is second mummy?"
"Precious, remember her!" he said happily as he was eating the chips I bought for him.
"Who is precious? The name sounds familiar very familiar. Precious oh David! is it precious from US?"
" Yes Mummy but I am not happy with you"
"Why?"
"Second mummy always come but you don't"
"Never call her second mummy again", I said angrily.
"OK mum"

IYKE
it's not really my fault;
A few years back, around the time Sandra left me all alone in the US to be with her sister in Nigeria. I had originally wanted to follow her back but I had this assignment with my company so we just concluded I join her later;as I also wanted to stay away from home till the time was right.
When I first started playing golf, I was invited to play in a charity tournament. The golf tournament was going to be held at a very prestigious private country club which would include a dinner, I think before or after the game.
Being new to the game of golf was quite uncomfortable, I kinda of fell out of place probably a little intimidation that I would not stay long, since I just started officially. Fortunately for me, I was teamed with the best players that my flaws and awful skills were not noticed. In fact my team won and we got invited to another game. Lucky I was and i so stuck with that team.
Before you know it, Saturday rolled around and I loaded my golf bag. Heading of the event centre. ' you are sure welcome in our team, when coming dress like a Star because our team's popularity is our winning' my team's leader's words recalling as I drove.
Pulling up to a parking space,I was immediately greeted and when I told them my teams name, they helped me pull my golf bag from the trunk of my car and ushered me into the club house. The game was quite intriguing but interesting and yeah, we won again. Then it was time for a cocktail party. Looking over the crowd of members and their wives drinking, laughing and getting along like long friends, I felt like an outsider. I tried blending in with the crowd but I knew I did not just fit in.
Then I met Precious.
She was sitting alone at a corner, staring at my direction. Every once a while she would nod her head as if she knew me. After few minutes, she took the bold step and walked over to where I was sitting and introduced herself. We had small talks and we kinda flowed because she was African too... Nigerian. I couldn't figure if she was being flirtatious or she was just polite. In the back of my mind, I thought of Sandra and David, my subconscious kept reminding me. I told her I had to go say goodbyes to my host but she wouldn't let me go as she claimed she was enjoying the conversation and there was nobody for her to go meet at home that evening.
After all the pleas, she let me go but not after she had my contact. Ever since, we be came friends, she would come over when she was less busy had fun with me and even my son.
At first, David called her mum but we later got him realize she wasn't his real mum but he could call her second mummy while he called his Nanny 'MAMA'.
The first night it happened, David had insisted he wanted Precious sleep over, cos his birthday was the next day. After reading the boy some stories and he was asleep, one thing led to the other and we had sex.
We both apologized to each other, I was starved and she wasn't married. We over looked it.
She knew I was engaged but it didn't affect our friendship. Even Sandra got to meet her and they became friends as well, tho NOT LIKE MY FRIENDSHIP WITH HER.
