I was sitting in my cabin right now, going through my e-mails when one certain mail caught my attention.

It was a complaint from the student council of the college.

Frowning, I opened the mail to see it's contents. But nothing had been mentioned in it. It just said that they needed a meeting with me.

I was going to reply to the message when there was a knock on my cabin.

"Come in." I said.

"Dr. Kapoor, the patient who is in coma; his parents wanted to meet you." A junior doctor said entering my cabin and I just nodded.

After talking with the parents, I left for the college.

I entered mom's cabin and mom just glared at me.

"You don't remember your mother at all, right? You only have 3 sisters & a brother." Mom said glaring at me.

"Mom!" I whined.

"Don't mom me. We've not talked since so many days." Mom said & I rolled my eyes.

"We met at the party yesterday, mom." I said chuckling.

"Whatever! We just talked for 5 minutes." She said rolling her eyes.

I think this rolling eyes really runs in our blood!

"How is Ahana & the baby?" I asked smiling.

"She is doing good. I can't thank shanaya enough for it. Ahana's pregnancy was very complicated. There were high chances of her blood pressure rising." She said and then there was a knock at her cabin door.

"Come in." I said

Guess who walked in?

Shanaya!

When she saw me, she just gave me soft smile and said

"Good Afternoon, sir."

Why does she seem off?

She was showing mom something about her thesis and I was busy checking her out.

She looks beautiful..!

Even with the white coat on and a messy bun of her hair without any makeup.

Flawless beauty!

I was snapped out of my checking out session when I heard mom's voice.

"Aarav" She said and I looked at her clearing my throat.

"I asked you if you are going to come home. We are taking Ahana & the baby home today. Shanaya just gave me her report she is fit to go." Mom said and I just nodded distractedly.

I was still in my daze!

Shanaya left & mom asked wiggling her brows

"So, you still don't want to get married?"

"What does that mean?" I asked confused.

"Ohh please! Don't fool me. You & Shanaya have something going on right?" She asked with a smile.

"Mom! Marriage is out of the question. You know. Even if we had something going on don't you think it is too early to get married?" I said rolling my eyes.

"See, it is not about the time. It is about the feelings. Sometimes you just meet a person and you know that this is the one & only person you can spend your life with." She said

"So, you felt like that when you got married to dad? Where does that bring you?" I retorted.

"Not everyone is like your dad. I've been trying to make you understand since forever!" She said raising her voice a bit.

"Mom! I've seen you taking sleeping pills to sleep because of that man. You couldn't do anything because you were married to him. You were helpless! And I don't want to be that. Neither do I want my wife to face it." I said annoyed.

Why can't she just get it?

"It is your choice to make ofcourse. I am no one to force you. But for once just keep your parents marriage aside and think if you have someone whom you want to live with forever." She asked me.

And Instantly Shanaya's smiling face was there before my eyes.

Ofcourse I have!

It is just pretty difficult without her..!

I just nodded and mom smiled.

"I know who it is. But if you keep on going with this charade of yours that you don't want to get married. You might lose her." She said and I looked at her questioningly.

"Shanaya is already started with her third year of post graduation and her father tends to get her married immediately after she finishes it." Mom said and I didn't know what to say.

"I am telling you because I know you don't have the guts to face your fear but it is about time you commit to someone. And if it is shanaya you want to get committed to, then the time is ticking." She said.

"This is not my place to tell but Rajveer has some medical issues. He is already started searching for her potential husband. If you intend to keep her to yourself, you have a few months to get your mind clear about the whole marriage thing. I am just giving you a heads up so that you don't have to face it unprepared." Mom said and taking a deep breath I just got up & left.

Do I want to?

Ofcourse I do.

But I am not ready.

I just shook my thoughts away.

I've just started to feel happy nowadays, I don't want to again get into stress.

I think I'll go with the flow..!

Then I remembered about the student council complaint.

I just informed the attendant to infrom the student council that we'll be having the meeting after lunch time.

I walked towards the canteen to see Shanaya, because right now only she can bring a smile on my face.

Just the thought of seeing her made me smile.

What has she done to me?

They all were seated on the regular table. I walked towards them and sat beside Shanaya. She turned to look at me and then a wide smile broke on her face.

"You were not this happy when you saw me in mom's cabin?" I asked her narrowing my eyes.

"What? You don't expect me jump on you before your mom who happens to be the HOD of my department?" She asked rolling her eyes.

"Mom wouldn't mind you know." I said winking.

And she looked at me wide eyed.

"I am sorry I couldn't make lunch for you today. I had an urgent work at the hospital." I said and she just smiled shaking her head.

"You have a meeting after lunch right? Why are you still here in canteen?" She asked and I said

"Yeah. I don't even know what is it about." I said with a sigh.

"Wait! I never told you I had a meeting. How do you know?" I asked her confused.

She just got up

"You'll get to know, now my lunch time is over." She winked at me saying this.

Still confused I walked towards my cabin.

Principal, administrative officer and everyone else was supposed to be present for the meeting.

"Sir, why would you arrange meeting with the student council?" Principal asked me.

"They wanted to have a meeting." I said and then there was a knock on the door.

The 4 members of student council entered and guess who was the head.

Why am I not surprised?

I fought back the smile that was threatning to come on my lips by seeing her. She was full on her fire mode. Ready to burn anyone that comes her way.

And she looked hot!

"Good afternoon, sir." They greeted everyone and then coming out of my admiring session I asked

"What is the meeting about?"

"We've been complaining about this issue to Principal sir & the other authorities since 2 days. And we got no positive response so we had no option but to approach you." Shanaya said looking straight at me with a determined look.

Stop getting distracted!

"Dr. Anand Verma the faculty member in gynaceology department treats the girls in college in a very disrespectful way. I've complained about this twice to the authorities but action was never taken against him." She said.

"Is it true?" I asked turning towards Dr. Avasthi.

"Yess sir. But in our explanation, there were no proofs and he is a faculty member I guess he is allowed to scold the children a bit." Dr. Avasthi said nervously.

"I am very sure sir, that telling girls that they just exist to warm men's bed is not what a faculty member is allowed to say" she said trying to control her anger.

"When did this happen? And to whom?" I asked.

"Sir, it happens everyday. Every other day nasty comments are being passed on the girls by him and the girls do not have the courage to stand up to him. Not only the girls also the other authorities are not taking any measures." She said standing there with her head held high and she was talking before all the college authorities but she was not even a bit nervous.

This girl is such a turn on!
