Chapter 95: Chapter 95
Just at the party, Farhan was not the only person who was beaten up badly. Someone else was too but for a meaningless reason- Zain. Having no faults yet his night was ruined badly.
"Rayan, Listen, Man, I want to tell you something important." Zain called, still pissed at Hoorain, wanting to tell Rayan about it but he was busy dealing with guests and searching for his wife. "Sure. But not here, Bro. Have you seen Isra? I have to find her, I have prepared a special speech for her. I need to find her to make the announcement." He asked, looking around to find Isra to confess his feelings finally and make the declaration of his love.
"You are going to confess?" He asked in perplexity and he nodded with a grin, "Of course, I had been working on that speech for years." He beamed, excited, barely controlling himself.
"Why don't we hit the bar after the party? I will tell you everything... even the one before." He smiled genuinely. Zain smiled, totally understanding this event is going to be grand for him, the gaiety on his face shows it.
"Sure, Good luck." He Smiled, giving him a thumbs up. "Let's pray everything goes well." He winked, waving at him, "By the way, did you see her?" He asked, stopping, "Yeah, she just went to the restroom. You will find her there." He smiled, "Thanks." Waving at him, Rayan left happily to call Isra and proclaim his endless love for her but what you fathom never truly happens...
After Rayan, Zain went to Emraz, knowing Hoorain is mostly attached to him and he will understand. "Emraz Bhai. Listen." He called, going after him, who was observing the crowd, leaving him baffled, "Oh Hey, Zain." He replied, looking in the other direction, "I swear, I saw her." He mumbled. "Who?"
"Huh? No one. What is it?" He asked, turning to him. "I want to talk about something important." He breathed out. "Yeah sure-" The moment he was about to look at him he finally found the person he was looking for, "Ah, there she is!" He chirped. "Who?" Zain asked in perplexity, looking in the other direction, "Who are you talking about?" Zain asked but Emraz smirked faintly, "Someone who is in my debt." He said with a mischievous grin.
"Could you wait a sec, please? I will be back." He asked sweetly, not removing his eyes from the arresting girl with black hairs highlighted red from the edges, lost in her own world. "Uh.. Sure." Zain sighed as Emraz left and having nothing else to do anymore, he waited for Rayan's enunciation, going back to his comfort zone to ponder what to do to prevail this affliction Hoorain label as 'love'
Zain was totally minding his own business, walking down an empty corridor until Hoorain came after him, "Sir!"
He didn't respond.
"Sir, please listen." She pleaded, going after him, hoping he might listen. "What do you want?" He asked rudely, still not talking to her for what she did, the more Zain thinks about it, the more it irks him to realize the person he never paid heed to actually loves him to the extent of joining her educational institute for him. "Sir, listen, please." She tried to talk it out but Zain wasn't ready. "There's nothing left to talk about." He hissed, trying to not create a scene.
"Why are you treating me like this? What did I do wrong?" She asked sadly, tears pricking in her eyes, "Listen, Hoorain. I have never liked you, I never considered you to be a partner, at least mine." He reasoned, hoping this will knock some sense into her. "Why? What is wrong with me? What do I lack?" Growing desperate, she moved closer, unable to control her feelings.
"I am not materialistic, I don't care what you possess and what you don't. Understand this little fact, I don't feel anything. I cannot force my feelings and I don't want to." He scoffed, closing his arms at his chest.
"That's exactly what I want to know. Why!?" Her fragile heart couldn't handle it, breaking into a sob, "Lower your voice, don't create a scene, Hoorain." He growled, motioning her to stop crying. "That's easy for you to speak. How will you understand when you have never loved anyone?" She cried, speaking whatever comes to her mouth, slumping her in dejection.
"Don't connect two distinctive matters. I am counseling you softly. You are young, you have a whole life ahead of you, dreams you want to fulfill. Don't waste your life on love, find something else." He breathed out, on the boundary of his forbearance to speak what could break her heart.
"Why don't you understand?! I cannot control my feelings! It's not my ability to murder what is manipulating me. Why is it so hard to understand this emotion? That's it's uncontrollable?!" She yelled, tears pricking in her eyes, cracking her heart when he lost his patience and yelled back,
"Because I have never loved anyone in my life. I don't have time for this stupid emotion! I have dreams I want to fulfill!" He yelled back, turning to leave, unable to bear anymore of her 'baseless' talk- in his perspective. But she couldn't take it anymore and grabbed his arm. "What the-"
"Please..." She whispered desperately, pouring her heart in the whisper. Startle blended with shock still for a second, "Please understand." She begged, unaware of her own actions at this point, pushing him against the wall, "What the hell are you doing!? Get away." Zain hissed, fed up of her nagging, pushing her away and leaving-

"Someone who is in my debt." Emraz said with a mischievous grin, going after the girl he finally found. His source of enlivenment in this boring and aching night. She was drinking her wine calmly in the corner, alone as he walked behind her, the smirk on leaving his life, whispering teasing in her ears, "Found you."
"Ah!" She gasped, almost spilling her wine on him but managed to save herself, furiously looking up at the person who ruined her solitude but her rage was replaced by astonishment, "You!?" She asked, mouth gaped, "What are you doing here?" She asked.
He glanced at the woman, arching a brow, the sweet smile not leaving his lips, "I knew you'd be here. What are you running away from this time, hmm?" He asked, bringing a blush of embarrassment on her cheeks. "It doesn't concern you." She muttered.
"Was your running away plan unsuccessful, Miss Danica?" He teased, smirking at her. She pouted, rolling her eyes, "Shut up." He chuckled, staring tenderly at her as she replied timidly, "But, I am just glad I found you, you vanished from the hotel that day and I want to return your money." She muttered, closing her arm at her chest.
Emraz chuckled, "Well, no need for you. We had no choice but to share the room. My mind was not functioning either." He shrugged, taking a sip of his drink calmly, not wanting to think about that day. "Of course not, I will return your money one day, no matter what it takes." She enunciated before returning him a bright smile. A smile whose radiance widened his smile as well.
"If that's what you wish." He hummed. "By the way, what are you doing here?" She asked, looking away. "You first." He smirked, teasing her again but she sighed and smiled, "My Father forced me to come here and make contacts with big people." She sighed, pinching her nose, "And you are certainly doing the opposite." He chuckled. "I don't want to." She breathed out.
"I see."
"What about you?"
"My Brother owns this place." He said, smirking internally to see her reaction, her eyes widened in disbelief, "I had no idea you are a billionaire. Wow, you are so rich!" She chirped.
"Millionaire." He corrected her, "And you? What do you do?" She asked. "I own Lavender. You know the event plann-" She cut him off, "Lavender? I cannot believe I have interacted- shared a room with someone infamous as you." She whispered, not believing the person before him is on the peak of success and she was nowhere near him. "But please, don't do this." He smiled gently and she was taken aback at his gallantry,
"I cannot believe that your status is so high and you were there at the one-star filthy place, looking like a depressed man who is stripped from everything but you exceed my expectations. How did you do this!?" She asked happily with her big raven eyes looking at him and chuckling nervously he began to tell her about his work and all as they talked for a while but soon he excused himself and left tired of her non-stop talks which were too difficult for him to comprehend as she changed topic in a mere heartbeat and he cannot cope with it like before but it was entertaining. Funny woman.
Emraz sighed after getting away from her and using the excuse to find Zain, he went to a random corridor, looking for him or even pretending while giggling to himself because of her but then he saw her in the corridor.
The sight was contrary to what occurred before.
Zain pinned Hoorain on the wall, holding her hands at her back with a furious look on his face, scowling something in her ears which made her terrified, Hoorain had tears in her eyes, trembling violently, her dress was ripped from her shoulder, a vase was broken in the corner. Getting the wrong idea by the sight, Emraz rushed to his sister's side and grabbed Zain, "Stay away from my sister!" He hissed, punching him in the jaw.
"Bhai!" Hoorain gasped, covering her mouth when Emraz began to beat Zain without thinking twice. "How dare you hurt her!"
"Bhai, no!" Hoorain gasped, not believing the sight. "How dare you, Zain!"
"What happened!?" Some people passing by also saw them and came as soon as people gathered there and everyone thought the same as Emraz.
"What the hell are you doing!? Get away from my son!" Amir hissed, pushing Emraz away and helping Zain to stand whose face was swollen and bloody. "Ask him, what the hell he was doing with my Sister!?" Emraz asked angrily.
"It's... not.. What you think." Zain coughed up blood, turning to look at Hoorain who was sobbing, holding her dress. "Tell them... What you.. told me.." He said, glaring at her. Everyone turned their heads to her. Horrified, Hoorain couldn't react, shaking badly, knowing if she said something now, she would lose all her chances.
Terrible omens afflicted her mind as she ran away without saying anything.
"Hoorain!" Zain called out to her but she ran. "I swear, it's not.. It. Talk to her." Zain said weakly, trying to explain but they didn't listen. "Ask her if you don't believe me."
"Just you watch. If I found you have done something, you will be dead." Emraz growled and was about to leave but Amir mocked, "Where was this dignity when you left my daughter huh?" Emraz stopped in his tracks, his heart clenched but not reacting to it, he only walked away.
Whispers filled the corridor, talking about them. Taking wrong impressions, placing judgment on both Hoorain and Zain for having a probably forbidden relationship.
Ashamed, both families rushed to their kids to know what was the matter but they found nothing.
Zain didn't say anything to avoid rumors about Hoorain.
And Hoorain remained silent to protect her love.
