Chapter 16: Chapter 16
The last few days have flew by! My favorite times of the day is becoming dinner time, all due to the fact Liam and I have been out every night this week.
We talk about so many different things, but we both tend to shy from talking about our past.
Since we have exchanged numbers, we text any time we find available.
Along with some stolen kisses, we haven't done anything farther yet. I have thought about inviting him over here to my house, but have yet to just bite it.
Turns out neither Liam or Alex is very good at decorating, so Maddy and I helped to put theirs up during the slow times we get at the shop.
Today and tonight though it going to be so much fun! It is finally Halloween day. Which means we will be running specials all day long and until we close at nine tonight.
I am leery of my costume, it came in the mail but even though it says my size it looks a tad bit on the small side.
Maddy asked yesterday for my mask from the Ball this year. I honestly don't think I want to know what she is planning but I am going with it.
Liam has tried to get some sneak peaks on what my costume is, but I have not let it be known just yet.
I let my hair hang down straight today, even if I will be tempted to throw it up I won't.
I wiggle into the corset piece and work on getting it tighted up. I adjust myself and slip the skin tight shirt on with it.
Taking a look in the mirror, I about hit the floor. If I move or take in to deep of a breath the girls on top is literally going to fall out and show everyone!
I rush into the closet and pull on the small cami cover up that is also black. At least it matches.
I get in my car and head down to the shop. I am excited since my new sign should be coming in very soon. It was the only thing I couldn't get speeded up on delivery.
Maddy is inside the shop and I am not sure what to make of her costume. She is wearing my mask, but a black dress with some rips in the center showing just a tad bit of midriff, and some hand cuffs dangling from her hips.
"Naughty something?" I question.
"I am a Naughty convict." Maddy laughs.
"Uh no way, nope. I know what your costume is supposed to look like Ms. Witch and that cami has to go." Maddy walks over and starts removing my cover up.
"Don't you dare!" I laugh.
I accidentally press on her phone and get a shock of my life seeing a picture of Alex.
"Maddy what in the world is that?" I laugh out loud.
"Oh this?" Maddy brings it up for me to see better.
"Good God! Maddy really?" I double over laughing.
"What he was a playboy and done a little costume posing just for me." Maddy laughs, putting her phone on the counter again.
Just then my phone dings and it is Liam needing help with his costume.
"Hey we are needed at across the street." I tell Maddy.
We are quick to walk across the street and walk into the office.
I notice how Alex looks like the male version of Maddy. "Nice couples costumes." I laugh, knocking on the bathroom door.
"Liam it is me. You needed help?" I speak up loud enough so he could hear me.
"Yeah, it is open." I hear him call out.
I spin the door knob and it opens to reveal the sexiest man on this earth. My mouth drops open and I try to check for drool, but at this point I don't even care.
"You know those ghost and goblins are out tonight. Maybe I should check if they got your tongue?" Liam walks over and captures my lips.
I go in for the skin to skin touch. This is the first time I have seen him without a shirt and my hormones are telling me that today is not needed and we can just go hide all day long.
Sadly the shops open in thirty minutes. This much sexy is overdrive for first thing in the morning.
Liam pulls back and smirks at my cheeks that are no doubt red.
"I would say the goblin has your tongue. Don't you?" Liam laughs.
"Yeah since your one." I whisper still in a daze.
"Wait. Where is your shirt? Not that I don't appreciate this but I don't want others oggling my boyfriend." I ramble.
"I like the sounds of that." Liam whispers, dipping back down for another kiss.
I pull back.
"We have to pause because if not my costume will be ruined before the day even starts." I blush.
"You're right." Liam laughs.
I walk out just as Liam is putting on a black button up shirt on.
Thankful he is putting a shirt on, I kind of curse myself. Should have taken a picture of him like that for my screen saver, I laugh interally.
"Maddy all good here. Let's go open the shop up." I smile at her, seeing her lipstick is a little smeared.
I make those motions to her and she is quick to wipe around her lips.
We walk back across the street and I am quick to flip the open sign on. Soon I will have a new sign for the shop and I can't wait.
I am just shocked a little it has been a short time I have met Liam it just feels right more and more with each passing day. He can handle my sass and I can just be who I am around him without worrying.
Although, right now all I want to do is be in top of him with no clothes in the way. Especially after seeing him shirtless just a few minutes ago.
