Chapter 5: Chapter 5
"You're not real." Even though I had a hard time speaking I kept saying it while shaking.
"help me." I immediately covered my face when she suddenly fell from its grip on the ceiling, I bent over.
A few seconds lasted, I was chasing my breath and constantly thinking it wasn't true.
"Help..." She whispered again causing me to cover my ear, as the shaking continued.
"Help me to find my body," she said from her very deep and cold voice. I could hear it over and over in some part of the room. I wanted to stand up but my knees were shaking and weakening.
"Help me."
I took a deep breath before slowly opening my eyes and closing them again as she appeared in front of me. I immediately bit the lower part of my lip so hard as not to make any noise.
"Get out of my sight first." After I said this I felt the cold air left in front of me.
I took a slow breath to calm my previously restless heart. I looked up again and slowly stood up, I even fell because of the trembling of my knees.
I looked at my hands again and the drops of blood were gone.
"In the bathroom."
"Aahhh!" I immediately shooed her away after she whispered behind me.
"You can do it, Quinn." I took another slow breath to calm down. I can't be scared, I can't! I am brave and it is not just this thing that I am afraid of.
"I'll help with you as long as you don't show me." I was nervous to beg her, I was not ready to see her pure black eyes and the veins on her face. Just how ugly she is, scary.
I opened the door of the bathroom. I went inside completely and looked around, it was fine, but why is she sending me here?
I even walked when I landed in the mirror, I immediately closed my eyes in shock. It's as if I'm crazy about it because I'm still afraid of my reflection.
"Why–" I immediately jumped in shock when the drawer under the sink suddenly opened. I was even held to my chest out of shock, it was a severe ghost and she could slowly open it. But it's even better because she doesn't show up to me.
I went there and peeked, it could not see the light so I immediately grabbed my cellphone.
Towels were placed here so I first removed them and put them in the sink. There seems to be nothing wrong with this, why did she think her body was placed here?
Since I didn't see anything wrong, I just dug every part, because at home I have secret hiding places, and if there is a hiding place here, the texture of the things is probably different.
I was not mistaken, the type of wood used in the lower part was different. I sat up and knocked on it. Even though it sounded different from those around me, I still lifted it but I had a hard time. I even tried to pull it and the moment I pulled it I sprang leaning against the shower glass.
I crawled closer to it and saw the strange cementing beneath it.
I know there is something strange here because of the beauty and lovable of this hotel, maybe the builders here are well-cemented and another thing is impossible for no one to notice, especially those who work. If she is buried here, the customer alone cannot do it.
I immediately stood up and my face appeared again in the mirror and there's a woman behind me, I jumped in shock even though I was only looking at her dress.
I looked down and noticed the logo on her dress. This is the logo worn by the housekeepers here, isn't she one of those who work here?
I hurried out and used the phone, I called the manager to bring someone up to our room. I hadn't even dropped the call when they arrived.
"Inside the bathroom." My weak promise.
Immediately the four men went there and leaving me with a girl staff, we walked closer to the bed. The police were still coming to talk to me.
"Was there a housekeeper missing here before?" I even asked her.
"Yes, it's been two months. I was with her when we were new here. It was still being built on the second floor then, we were ordered to go up because something was being handed to the engineer. The problem when Sandy and I were going up was a customer called me. I told her to just wait for me so we could go, but she said she could do it. The customer was so angry that I couldn't follow her either. When I finished talking to the customer I followed her upstairs but was blocked. I'm one of the people there and it's forbidden to go up because it's still under construction. I told them about Sandy, and someone told me that she had come down, " her long explanation while sobbing softly. I stroked her back to calm her down.
"We're about to go home and I haven't seen Sandy yet, the guard also said she didn't come out. So I had a bad feeling, I went up again and met the engineer but he pushed me and didn't want to let me in. I complained but the manager said to go home. Until we never really saw her again," she added.
"Do you also hear her asking for help? Most of the guests in this room, always complain about the voice of a woman crying, but the manager just ignores even the owner." This is probably what Finley, always heard crying.
"Yes–"
"Ms. Abellana, can we talk to you?" A policeman interrupted our conversation.
"Sure." I got up and followed him. I also called Denis to tell my mom and aunt what happened, they are coming back now.
The police talked to me about how I found out, that there was a corpse hidden there. The victim's isolated body was allegedly wrapped in a bag and cemented there. Now they are looking for CCTV video, even the engineer who was working back in the day said a housekeeper.
I even pretended to them that my earring had fallen off while taking a towel, and noticed that thing. I can't say that I talked to the ghost because I might be told that I'm crazy.
"Quinn." Mom was in a hurry to come to me. I even saw my cousin Denis looking at the bag, as the soco team took a picture of it.
"Maybe she's the girl who's crying, how did you know?" Finley whispered to me and the fear was obvious in her voice.
"She told me." I smiled to face her.
"Come on Quinn, you know I'm going to be scared of your joke." She hit my arm at the same time.
"Yes and there she is standing behind you." I looked through it and saw the female ghost.
Her face was no longer scary because the black veins and blood on her face were gone. She looks brighter now because of the smile on her face. She nodded and walked past me, I quickly followed her with my gaze and Finley was all clinging to my arm, seemingly afraid of what I was up to. She can't see what I see.
"Come on Quinn, you're not funny." I laughed softly at what she said, but I didn't look back at her, because I still couldn't take my eyes off this woman.
It feels good even though it is scary, her soul will be peaceful now, she will be able to achieve justice.
I smiled looking at her but it also faded when she stopped at the man in black, it was him again. The man in the hospital.
He opened his notebook and seemed to be looking for something. After that he closed the notebook, he even looked at me for a while. He grinned and followed the female ghost.
The surroundings slowed down even though others were upset, because of the incident. The surroundings seemed quiet, they were telling me a lot but I didn't understand anything, because my whole attention and brain were on that man.
Could this man be a grim reaper?
