Chapter 15: Chapter 15

"Good morning, Quinn." Finley greeted while still focused on her cellphone while having coffee. It's just that it's going to be a cellphone person. I leaned over her and grabbed the coffee.

"What? You can mix it." It means, but it's too late because I'm exhausted, she only half-breeds coffee so I quickly consume it every time I snatch her coffee.

"Who are you chatting with? Your boyfriend who's feeling famous, but 'Simon is what he read in c'mon?" She just stared at me in response. After all, when she took that man with her on our outing, did he read Jade's chat and that's how he read, so since then, that's always been our teasing of him.

"Rather than you, I don't believe in ghosts, but your boyfriend is a ghost." It even made me back away when it hit me with her short hair. She turned around and faced the cellphone again.

"I don't care, may her flirtatious soul go to heaven." I'm recovering here. I also took my cellphone and just Facebooked, why is that ghosting still so popular. I'm still okay, I don't care if he's happy with his best friend he exchanged for me. I'd be better off there, or maybe they want me to take them to the next life together.

"Crazy." I was stopped by Finley's laughter. I blinked more and went back to pressing my cellphone.

"Is that how you look for a soul?" To my shock I was moved to sit, causing Finley to fall to the floor.

"You don't know what to do, huh? You're so shocked!" I angrily returned to my seat.

"What's the matter with you, Quinn? The pain." I even winced to see Finley holding onto his hip while sitting back.

"There's a cockroach." I lied. She glared again as she turned her back on me. I turned my gaze back to Keir who was smiling in front of me.

"What are you up to? Why don't you look for it yet?" I even grabbed my sinuses and looked sharply at Keir. It's a different kind of Grim reaper, in others, it commands the work.

"Why aren't you the one to look for? Don't you have a clue how we'll know?" It even pouts and shakes.

"I've only just come across something like that and based on what I've heard from other Grim reapers, it also takes a long time before they find it." I kept my eyes rolling because of what he said.

"What are we going to do? Just let someone else do it." I slapped the table. Finley was even more surprised and looked at me.

"You're weird again, who are you talking to?" I quickly looked at Keir who just shrugged. I'm still closing my eyes emphatically, why isn't he showing up? I look mad at what he's doing.

"A-ah...just acting. You know, I miss being a star in theater plays." I smirked at her with a sly smile. She just nodded at what I said, even though I forced a smile and at least I convinced her.

"I thought you were going crazy, you were talking to yourself," she said and looked back at the cellphone. I gasped and looked at Keir, glaring at him for his teasing laugh.

"Do you still know how to act?" Carving it. I didn't answer him, because I might have thought I was crazy.

"What are we going to do?" It's a question that I ignored. I would just think it was a wind and I could hear nothing.

"What is it? It's up to you I won't stop you." Is he a Grim reaper?

"If you act like you haven't hugged me before, you're even happier." I glared at it. It's really good and no one can hear him.

"Then you almost don't want to let me go." He even hugged himself as he teased me, I didn't speak but I stopped him. I still look at Finley because she might notice me.

"Is it good to hug me so you don't want to laugh, huh? So maybe you slept well. Your saliva even dripped on your arm and–"

"Shut up!" I lightly emphasized here, I even slapped him on the shoulder which made him laugh. While I had a hard time figuring out how to react to what he was doing, he in turn laughed. What kind of life is this!

"What you think? If you want–"

"I said shut up." I covered his mouth at the same time.

"Now you're holding my mouth, you, I'm noticing you. You like me, don't you?" I quickly pulled my hand away. Still smiling with the dimple out, I raised an eyebrow at him and stared.

"As if I'm going to like the Grim reaper who is lazy to catch souls." I folded my arms and just turned my gaze to Finley. I was shocked to see it look at me as if it was judging my whole being.

"What's going on with you?" I swallowed before answering his question.

"You can't understand, so don't mind me." Her forehead was still furrowed and she didn't seem convinced by what I said.

"You're so mean to her, it's like you said she can't understand." Grim reaper whispered.

"I said shut up," I whispered here and even kicked him. Finley looked at it, but I knew he couldn't see it.

"I'm just stretching, my wound still hurts." I forced a smile on her. she frowned and shook her head. I know this woman is thinking, maybe she thinks I'm crazy because of what I'm up to.

How else can I live normally, if this is happening to me? Everywhere I go as long as this Grim reaper follows, I will look mad.

"W-what are you doing? Are you chatting with whom?" I change the subject. After I said this she just turned her gaze to the cellphone.

"Ah, I'm reading any jokes. I'll show you, in case you don't know Latin words." My eyes widened as I looked at Finley. Suddenly my heart beat faster, isn't Finley the one we're looking for? Not allowed!

"C-can you read Latin?" Vibration my question.

"It's just a little because I love to read some books with some Latin words," she explained. I slowly turned to face Keir who was also focused on our conversation. I shoved the paper into my pocket and pulled it out, I turned my gaze back to Finley, while she was still staring at the screen of his cellphone.

"Do you think she's the one we're looking for?" Keir asked.

"Do not know," I whisper here. I looked at the paper again, shaking my hand holding it. Finley can't be what we're looking for, because by the time we find her soul, she will go. She might die, but if we didn't do that she could get a bad spirit, I don't want that to happen to her anymore.

"Finley." I gently called her.

"Why?" Question it and immediately lowering the cellphone he was holding. It even stared at my face before looking down at the trembling paper, I lifted it and handed it to her. Her forehead furrowed before taking it.

"What is this? Your love letter to me?" She laughs at the question. I focus on her and what's running through my brain. I couldn't help but laugh at her joke. But there are still many questions that made up my mind, the many what if's. But what if my suspicion is correct? My cousin Finley is the closest to me, she is always with me because I am only a child and she is the only girl among their siblings.

What if what should? Will I be left behind? For all the other things I don't like, someone is affected by my misfortune, I want when I'm the only one, I'm the only one who will suffer. My eyes focused as she opened it, my chest throbbed fast and even my palms were sweating.

"Are you sure she is? If she reads the prose and doesn't burn the paper, what happened to the first time who read that could happen to that lady." I was stunned by what the Grim reaper said. Sure, what if she wasn't?

"Wait!" We even scrambled for the paper, thankfully it didn't tear when I grabbed it. I can't rush, because just one mistake can ruin her.

"Let's find out first, there are still a lot of people here." whispered it again.

"What's that? I thought you'd let me read it?" She folded her arms and sprang to her feet, as if she were a child leaving. I still wanted to chase her, but I still had to do something. Then I'll tell her everything when I'm well.

"Let's go?" Keir was there, I got up and followed him. There are a few more here, so I might ask if any of them can read Latin.

"Why do we seem to be doing so much more and more? With so much to look for, there's still no sign?" I still complain here.

"Maybe if complaining prolongs life, it will take you another 2,000 years. You're just complaining." I even stopped and faced him.

"So, that's it? It's me again? Maybe if the bully can bring the dead back to life, you're probably very much alive!" This is what I don't like about him, every time I get annoyed, his face doesn't show anything. Pure teasing smile. Hard to win this year, hard to resist.

"Another one–"

"OMG! I'm so sorry." I was stopped when we suddenly collided, we were still looking at each other. She was the woman I talked to last night.

"Chelsea, you're not going to work?" I ask her. Grim reaper jumped up and stood beside me.

"No, I'm just going to apply for a job." She answered quickly and picked up the paper I had dropped.

"Your boyfriend is handsome." I frowned at Keir.

"W-who's boyfriend?" I wonder question.

"There he is, isn't he your boyfriend?" I even opened my mouth to what she said.

"Do you see me?" Keir asked in astonishment.

"Of course brother, do I look blind?" Keir and I immediately looked at each other, shock on our faces. How does she see Grim reaper? Does she also have a third eye?

"Is it yours, sister?" Once she opened the paper, I would have snatched it when she spoke.

"It's just here, I thought I lost it," she said while looking at the paper. It was as if we were Keir's statue at these moments. Even Chelsea was shocked when the paper she was holding suddenly burned.

"She's the one we're looking for," Grim reaper promised. That's right, she's that one we are looking for. Not Finley or anyone here, it's Chelsea.

"W-what's going on?" This question trembled, even her hands trembled as well. I don't know that it's even harder to just explain things and what's going on, compared to finding out who the person who read it is. How can I explain to her that her soul is no longer in her body?
