My family or Leonardo?

What do I do?

Leonardo has been nothing but good to me since I met him and all I've ever done is misunderstand and hurt him. How can I just kill his mom?

If I don't, the agency wouldn't even hesitate to drop me and hunt down my family to make me regret my choices.

Why is this happening?

"Riona!" I heard a small voice call from downstairs.

"It's important!" Another tiny voice announced from downstairs.

After taking a deep sigh, I picked myself up from the floor of my room and cleaned myself before walking casual downstairs.

"What's all the fuss about?" I cleared my throat before yelling at all of them.

"Well a lady showed up on our doorstep and Thalia let her and now she's in the bathroom." Iris explained while Thalia didn't look me in the eye.

"Thalia you know better than let random strangers into our h-"

My words stayed stuck in my throat when a middle aged woman in a white dress and brown curls emerged from the stairs.

My eyes couldn't believe who I was seeing, my heart raced, my mouth was left open and I began to tremble.

This woman.

What is she doing here?!

As she approached me, I took steps back.

"W-what a-are you doing here?" I struggled to say but I don't think anyone could hear me.

"Rie are you okay?" Iris questioned.

"Get out." I said slowly.

"Rie-"

"I said get out!" I yelled taking everyone by surprise as they took a step back.

"Riona I-."

"I said get the fuck out of this house!" My shock disappeared and I could only feel anger overtaking me.

I moved to her then grabbed her by the arm before I dragged her out of the house.

"Riona please list-"

"Shut up!" I said loud enough for her to hear as I pushed her outside and locked the door.

My eyes darted to Thalia whose head was still lowered and stayed quiet during the whole thing.

"Thalia, can we talk in my room?" I said as calmly as I could possibly say.

"Rie-."

"Now." I interrupted her and walked away to my room to wait for her.

After waiting for about a minute and half, I heard a knock on my door before Thalia walked into the room and locked the door behind her.

"Thalia why did you let her into our house and even to use our bathroom? After everything she did to us?!"

She looked at her feet still and stayed quiet.

"You let her meet Iris and Cassidy! Do you understand what you did? It's good they didn't recognize her or else what would have happened?"

Her silence started to irk me.

I grabbed her by her arm on both sides and shook her but I could only hear her sobs. "Why can't you answer me?!" I questioned then raised her chin up so she could meet my eyes.

"I'm sorry okay? I-I s-she was standing there when Iris opened the door and I-I don't know why I- let her in."

How did she find this house?

I loosened my ponytail and ran my hand through it.

I don't need this right now! I have enough on my plate with Leonardo's mom and Keith and now this woman!

What now?

"Riona it wasn't a dream, mom really came here." Thalia said with a wry smile but stopped when I glared at her.

"That's not our mother Lia, our mother died the day she left us. I don't ever want that woman to set food in this house and avoid her until I find a solution to this problem." I instructed and Thalia nodded her head and headed towards the exit of my room.

"And also," I said from behind her and she stopped. "Make sure she never comes near the girls." I warned and she nodded.

I really hope Lia doesn't do anything stupid, she looked hopeful somehow when that woman was here.

How would dad feel if he knew-

"Dad!" I gasped and grabbed my phone from my bed.

The doctor told me to get back to her with the money for the operation tomorrow!

I only have what boss gave me from yesterday but using it will mean I've picked a side already, which I haven't but what can I do?

Leonardo and his mom aren't more important to me than my father and sisters.

I'm really sorry Leonardo.

The ride to school was awfully quiet and no one said anything about what happened last night and I prefer it that way. I wouldn't want to hurt the girls by telling them that woman is actually the one who gave birth to us.

After I parked my car, my phone ranged and it was from the hospital.

Did something happen to my dad? Is it about the money?

"Good morning miss Davis, I'm calling from the hospital where your father is admitted." A polite voice echoed from my phone.

"Good morning." I greeted back.

"We need you to come over to the hospital today and sign a few documents."

"I'll drop by this evening after school, is my dad alright?"

"He's fine. It's just a formality."

"Okay then, thank you."

It's just a formality but yet I feel so nervous about going to the hospital.

"Good morning Riona!" A familiar voice greeted.

I turned to see an elated Keith standing next to Leonardo who just flashed a smile at me.

Fucking pretender.

"Leo!" A feminine voice called from far away and we all followed the voice to a beautiful petite girl.

"That's my sister, I'll be right back." He excused himself before jogging towards the girl.

So that's Leah?

"Instead of focusing on someone else's family shouldn't you focus on yours?" Keith rolled his eyes.

"Shouldn't you mind your own business?" I retorted and he scoffed.

"Your family will start to fall apart right before your very eye and you won't be able to do anything about it."

"You leave my family out of anything I'm warning you or el-"

"Or else what?" He stood his ground. "Don't ever make the mistake of threatening me again or you will regret it!" He warned.

"And one more thing, you should learn to treat your mom with respect." He smiled before walking away.
