Chapter 11: Chapter 11

I was lying across his chest and catching what my second no third breath I believe. I felt tired and I don’t think my body could tolerate it anymore. The caresses on my back didn’t really help much and I knew sleep was inevitable but as soon as I began to drift the wakeup call came exactly at seven as he had requested. “Sorry, Fio, but I really need to go. You are more welcome to stay here and sleep. I’ll come back and get you around eleven and take you to your truck.” He offered. I knew I couldn’t stay here. I really had to go home. I hadn’t checked my phone, but somehow I felt I already had a couple of miscalls. “No, that’s okay I really need to get home.” I told him. As he held the door he looked at me and before he allowed me to pass through. He lifted my face to see him. He touched my puffy eyes and traced a finger on my swollen lips. “Sorry about not getting any sleep.” I smiled at him. “That’s okay, It’s Saturday I’ll just crash when I get home.” Unlike you I believe you are still working.” I said to him. He sign and said “A reporter never sleeps.” Then he looked lost as if he was thinking then shook his head. “What is it” “Nothing let’s have breakfast.”

Our order was to take a couple of minutes so it gave me the opportunity to talk and get to know him a bit better. One night stand remember Fiorella don’t get too personal with this guy. Hell, how more intimate could I possible get he was inside me. Do I really want to know him? The better of me was getting to me. “So, how long have you worked for the company “pointing at the logo on his t-shirt. He looked down at his shirt. Actually, I don’t work for the company. He said. I lifted up my eyebrow. “I am doing this reporting for my father. He is the owner of the station. He needed someone who spoke fluent Spanish, so I volunteered for the job. Besides I’ve read about all the killings that have been going on across the border which got me interested.” He said as he sipped his coffee. “They are not to be interesting” I said. “People have died too much because of the Drug trafficking's, it’s just a shame that innocents have been punish for it too.” I told him. “Sorry, I guess I am looking at it as a reporter.” He said. But I thought you said you didn’t work for the news station.” I reminded him. He smiled at me. “Doesn’t mean that news should be ignored, besides my father wanted me to have it someday, I know the ropes that go with running a station, but that is not my deal.” He told me. “So that means you’re rich.” I said raising an eyebrow. “Nope, my old man is he is the one with the money.” Took a sip of his coffee then raised it up to the waitress and she came to pour more for him. “So what is your deal, if you don’t mind me asking?” He placed down his cup as he was about to take another sip of his coffee and rose his eyebrows. I instantly knew what he was going to say. “Besides that”. He started to laugh. Then looked at me, really looked at me. “God, Fiorella you look beautiful with that I’ve fucked all night face.” He told me. I gasped and took a sip of my water. He smiled and raised his coffee to his mouth. “Actually, he gave me a lump sum of money when I graduated from college. Told me to use it wisely. He wanted me to be successful as he was.” I really didn’t care much whether I became successful. So I invested my money, stocks and shit like that. It went well so I used the money to invest in stores. Actually more like athletic stores. I just live off the benefits they give me.” Holy shit, he is rich he just won’t admit it. Just like that fucking book. I need to get to reality mode here. I was really hoping he would say I am the kind of guy who gets by with an ordinary check, but I live off the benefits. “Fio, did I lose you.” He brought me back to my reverie. “I guess you did for a moment.” “Please continue” I said to him. “You know you do this a lot” he said. What the hell now his telling me I can’t think. “I really didn’t know I did!” I shot back. “And you’re feisty, must be the lack of sleep.” He said smiling and took a sip of coffee. I ignored his remark. “Do you do anything, like hard labor?” I asked. He smiled. “Yes, I work in the hardware store my uncle owns and I help my aunt at the pet shop.” I do other things as wells.” He said. “So you are also a carpenter?” I asked. Laughing, “Yes you might say that”. The waitress came with our food and our talking subsided a bit. We didn’t speak much as we ate. Little comments about foods and stuff around Laredo, I hadn’t noticed that he never asked about me. I guess he really didn’t want to know and I really didn’t care if he did. I was about to eat my last piece of taco when I felt him staring at me. I felt uneasy and I placed my piece back at my plate. “Please continue eating.” He said. “I just can’t get over how mesmerizing you lips are.” He said. I pushed away my plate. I had finally been done eating. He laughed took the receipt the waitress had placed on the table and went off to pay. I stood up and at that moment I realized how sore I was. If I were to walk back to the truck, I had better start moving. I ascended the stairs and walked up to the sidewalk and looked out toward the plaza. I saw people picking up the aftermath effects of the celebration. I started to walk back and forth and I heard him say my name. “Fio!” I turned around he was looking for me. “I am over here.” I told him as I was waiting under the tree shade. The temperature had already begun to rise and I could tell it was going to be a 90 degree weather and it was February where it should be cold. He rushed over to meet me. “I thought you’d runoff” he said as he grabbed both my arms. “Ah, no I was just getting warmed up. I tensed up sitting to long” I told him. “How sore are you Fio” he said Holy shit is he really asking me. “It’s just we could catch a cab and take you to your truck.” He was telling me. A cab this is fucking Laredo no one gets a taxi around here. “No, that’s okay we can walk it’s about six blocks from here.” I told him. The morning gave me a better perspective of where I was. “You think you could manage” alarm in his eyes. “Yes” I told him. I work out too. “I am okay, common let’s go. If you needed to wake up early that means that you have some place to be.” I headed out to the direction of my truck. We spoke of many different things culture, festivals and so forth. He seemed very interesting in coming back to the Jalapeno Festival he was upset that he had missed it. He couldn’t get the idea of eating so many hot peppers for one thousand dollars. It was funny that throughout our conversation he never asked about me. My work, my dreams or even about my ideas. I didn’t bother asking him though. We soon arrived to where my truck was parked. I was glad that Ricardo had given me a key. We were standing outside of the gate. He was taking in the surroundings and especially my truck. “This is yours?” he asked. “yes, I just got it.” I told him. “Why the Laramie Ram truck?” he asked me. “I liked the way it looked and actually how it makes me feel.” I told him. He looked at me. I knew he wanted me to look at him too. “How does it make you feel Fiorella.” He said seductively. “In power” I told him with a wide smile. He began to laugh. Oh God his laugh it made my clit tingle with excitement. I loved the way he sounded. “Umm, do you need a ride.” I asked him. “Actually, I’d love one.” He said and took the key from my hand and opened the gates and stood by them. I pressed the alarm key and opened the door. I stepped on the side step bar to be able to lift myself up as I did I realized how painful it was. I stopped before I even got on the seat to regain back some composure. “Are you okay?” Diego asked me with concern in his voice. “Yes” I answered. I sat down I didn’t care if it smarted. I didn’t want him to think that it hurt. I pulled the truck in reverse and waited for him to close the gate. He made sure he locked up the gate and as he got on and handed me the keys. "Thank you". Placing them in the middle console. As I drove, I knew I hadn’t much to say because I knew I was going to leave him. This was it the deal of the night, I would never see him again and yet I wish I could. One night stand Fiorella. You don’t see them again, remember. “Right” I said out loud. “Excuse me.” He said. Oh shit I have to remember not to say things out loud. “I take a right on this street.” I said. “Are you telling me or asking me.” He said smiling. Shit he used my lines. I smiled and turned right down San Bernardo. I saw the Marriott and turned to my left into the entrance. He didn’t speak as we drove and I didn’t bother to start up a conversation. I guess he was feeling the same thing I was. Okay, just drop him off and ride away. I told myself. Don’t look back, just drive. I told myself. He broke my reprieve as I was already getting closer to the front doors. “Park the truck over there in the parking spot, Fiorella” he told me. I didn’t question I did as he told me. Before I could turn off the truck he was beside my door. And holding up his hands to help me jump off I was grateful for it. I did and slipped having body contact once again. He felt good. I placed my hand in his abs and traced them with my finger. “God, Fio your touch feels so good.” And he kissed me forcefully. At that moment I didn’t feel the heat scorching me. I felt him burning me with his heat exploding all over my veins. “Come, Fio up to my room” he said. I was more happy to oblige. My hand entwined with his and we walked into the front doors of the hotel, when we were face with his camera man.

“Where the hell have you been?” he asked and then he saw that he wasn’t alone. “Oh!” he said. “What’s wrong he let go of my hand.” His camera man gave him his phone. “You’re dad has been calling non-stop, said he got a lead on some action near Roma. He said something about corruption between official and shit like that.” Many of the crew people already got the scope they are probably out there by now.” He said. “Shit, Fuck I just got distracted that’s all. Here give me the damn phone. I won’t hear the end of it, fuck I knew something like this was going to happen. Fucking distraction.” He snatched the phone from the camera man’s hand and went to the back of the stairs to make a call. I was left there and played the words again that I had just heard. “I just got distracted.” Fuck, I was a distraction for him. Remember Fiorella One night stand. Not knowing what to do, I turned around and went out the doors, and hurried quickly to my truck. I knew why I had followed him, my clit had gotten the best of me again. I wanted him. I hadn’t had enough. I had indeed become insatiable just like the character in that book. I didn’t cry. I just got pissed. I place the truck in reverse and peeled out of the hotel parking lot. I didn’t look back. It was just a one night stand.
