I ran as fast as my legs could carry me to the basketball court smiling as I dusted myself trying to make myself presentable enough since there was no time to have a change of clothes, I know that it was over but at least, I could get there before they leave

The door was in sight as I quickened my footsteps grinning only for the door to be opened from the other side as the basketball team ran in cheering and sweating which could only mean it was over

Shit! I missed it… I thought sadly as I waited for him to walk through since he was captain he would probably come last

They kept whistling and laughing as they ran past me but I didn’t care about all that the only thing on my mind was how much I had hurt Cameron right now, I broke my promise

I just stood there, with my backrest to the wall, hoping I will see him come out only for me to hear voices and it sounded like Berry and Cameron.
