Padgett's POV

Get in please! He said with pleading eyes, I walked reluctantly towards his car before entering the car, I shut the door beside me, he started the car engine and drove off.

The ride was the most awkward one, I have ever had with him, the first time I arrived here, it wasn't this awkward, I kept fighting with my bag and biting my nails nervously, neither of us said a word to each other as he concentrated on the road till my house was in sight

I sighed badly because I would have to leave him soon and to think that we didn't make up and both of us are extremely mad at each other and yet neither of us were willing to make the first move to speak to one another

The car came to an halt at my door step as I opened up the car door, I get my stuff without looking at him, I don't want to take a glance at him, because I might just say a word to him, I gulped my saliva before walking towards my apartment door, as soon as I insert the key in the door knob, I heard his car door open as well, he walked out following me closely behind

The house was pretty quiet, mommy wasn't back, I didn't bother to lock the door because I am sure Cameron is behind me and he will like to come inside.

Can we just make up now, I really can't stand you been mad at me. He said

Even me! I was been sincere with him.

I’m sorry creamy. He said hugging me from behind before turning me to look at him then crashing his body unto mine as we hugged so tightly

I might drop death, if you keep avoiding me, I was going crazy all those times, you didn't contact me and you were so far from me. He said

Cam, I really want to forget everything that happened but the truth is, I just can't. I said pulling from the hug

What can I do to make you forget everything? You can hit me, curse me or probably damage my face but please don't go away from me. He said staring at me

Are you okay? I asked confused

Yes, if that will make your angry disappeared then do it, instead of keeping those emotions inside, you should hit me, creamy just let it out, hit me as hard as you can

Transfer all your pain on me and pretend I’m your punching bag, so just hit me and let it all out

Hit me, I know I deserve everything, for acting like a jerk. He used my hand to hit him.

You made me cry, I felt worthless. I was no longer able to hold it, I just break down in sobs as he sat on the couch while I rested on his shoulders still trembling

I know creamy, I apologized for everything, I promise it won’t happen again please… He said raising my head up to look at him, he place a soft peck on my forehead before pulling me into in a tight hug, my heart beat increase, I just have to control myself.

I’m Sorry too… I said hugging him back, after I have composed myself.

And the party.... I frown at him, with the mere mention of the party. Come on relaxed, I know you want to go to that party, so you can go with Newton but I swear if he does anything out of place, I will kill him right there. He added lightly

He is not, just trust me. I said taking his hand

But you are still not allowed to date him and I don't want to hear anything about him calling you, his girlfriend. He added grinning

Why? I said hitting him playfully

Stop asking questions and listen, if you don't want me to spank you He said smirking, I too smirked.

Really now? I asked folding my hand across my chest, he tickle me, I laughed uncontrollable

Fine stop already! I said in between my laughter, when he finally stop, I noticed his tummy is craving for food.

Let me prepare something for us to eat.

Oh! That is so nice of you. He said pulling me into another hugged, I just let him, maybe he's stressed out, he absolutely needed the hug as much as I do also.

We are going to starve, if you keep hugging me. I said patting his back gently, he broke the hug after a while and look at me

Are you okay? I asked, he pushed my head with his finger.

Stop asking, go prepare something for me, I wonder if you could even cook, I ignore him and head to the kitchen to prepare something nice for us, to eat but I thought it will take long time, so I gave him cake to eat while I prepared something nice for us.

Did I say I want cake?

Such an ungrateful jerk, This is how you, pay me for helping you? I asked

What else should I pay you with? You want money? Cameron scoffed and moved away

Gosh, you really are ungrateful asshole, I gave you a shoulder to lean on and even a nice chocolate cake to suppress the hunger in your tummy, this is how you're going to repay me? I said following him, abandoning the food I was supposed to prepare. Cameron groaned.

I can't believe this, just because you gave me a shoulder to lean on and a cake that means...

Come on Cam, everything comes with a price dear best friend.

Okay fine,what should I give you in return? He asked

I need a nice wear to go to the party, I really don't have one, a really sexy one. I whispers

Why not say it out loud? Should I tell mom that you are planning of wearing something sexy...I jumped on him immediately and covered his mouth

We both fall on the couch, with me on top of him.

You can't do this to me, please, I really want to look good, I heard, most girls wear makeup to the party. I pout with my puppy eyes, he blinked his eyes rapidly

Creamy, get off me" He said slowly

Promise you won't say anything to mom, not even about the party. I muttered

I promise, now get off. He said, I smiled and got off him,

I know you're scared of me, I just go continue what I am doing. I said smirked and walked out of the living room.

Cameron's POV

I watch her walked into the living room, as I bite my lips and run my fingers through my hair, my breath almost stopped just now

I think I'm going crazy. I muttered and stood up then walked into her restroom, I needed to checked for her assignments, and help her fixed it.

After fixing it, I took my phone and walked out of the room, I want to see what she was up to, since she didn't bother to come pulled me out of the room, only to see that her mom is back.

"Finally you're here. Mrs Ryan said, I gave her a smile smile, Padgett shifted the next seat beside her for me but I sat down somewhere else, she look at me sadly and started eating her food.

How was school son? Mrs Ryan asked me, I missed her, I really do, she was more like a mother to me than my biological mother.

Perfect! I muttered without looking up, the mere mention of school made all those awful memory rush to my head, I just shake my head to pushed them behind me.

And you hon? She turned to Padgett, as she caressed her hair, I felt jealous, although I'm a young adult now but the truth is, I long for my parents love as well, I really wish a day could come, when I can sit with them in same table for just one meal, laughing and eating together

It was really amazing Mommy, I have made alot of friends now, most of Cameron's friends are really friendly, and there is Emerald, everyone is great, just having few enemies. She added, I look at her, those enemies, I was the one who created them for her.

Try to avoid anything that will lead you into trouble" Mrs Ryan said

I'm trying mommy, but she's a demon, She will alway create one for me. Padgett muttered. But not to worried, Cam's friends will protect me, if this jerk is after his numerous fling. She said looking at me, I too glance at her.

Is she still mad at me. I said mentally, Mrs Ryan touch my hands.

You should invite your friends for tomorrow picnic, so I could thank them for protecting my princess and you should know, the more the merrier. Mrs Ryan said.

Don't worry, I will tell them if he doesn't. I'm going to call Sutton and he will inform the others.

You don't have to meet with him, I will invite them over and how did you get his number? I cut her off, I really don't know what is wrong with me, I just hate it when she mentioned any boys name, not even the one boy I was singing his glory to her, some days ago.

Good! She raised her thumb, as I nodded at her. The rest of the meal go silent, after sometime Mrs Ryan stand from the table

Goodnight Mommy. Padgett said to her mom, while she look at her

What are you waiting for? You should go to bed.

I'm going to wash the dishes mommy before going to bed. Padgett replied and walked into the kitchen

You should do that tomorrow, it's getting late and Cameron, you should spend the night here, it's late, you have to share Padgett room with her.
