Chapter 432: Chapter 432
Brian Zane and Elder Sawyer arrived at the hospital simultaneously.
The two bumped into each other at the entrance. Upon seeing Brian, Elder Sawyer snorted coldly and turned his face away, not wanting to even look at him.
Brian’s expression stiffened, his brows furrowed deeply.
He seemed puzzled as to why Elder Sawyer would be here. It seemed this guy had come upon hearing the news, intending to sabotage his treatment.
This time he would definitely not let him succeed!
Brian also snorted upon seeing Elder Sawyer, truly like a lingering ghost.
The two entered together and headed straight towards the medical room after going upstairs.
They were around the same age, but they were easily distinguishable by their appearance.
Elder Sawyer wore a Zhongshan suit, and although his beard was already gray, his complexion was rosy and healthy, clearly well-maintained.
Brian, on the other hand, was dressed in a sharp suit, wearing a pair of gold-rimmed thin-frame glasses, with slight wrinkles, exuding an air of elitism.
Alaric Faulkner stepped forward, respectfully saying, "Elder Sawyer, Professor Zane, thank you for coming to treat my son."
The two exchanged looks of disgust with each other.
Alaric’s eyes darkened. He had long heard that the two were arch-enemies, to the point that where one was, the other would never be present.
Wherever Brian appeared, Elder Sawyer would usually not show up, and vice versa. Unexpectedly, the two of them collided here today, and neither left in anger.
Elder Sawyer’s face turned cold, "I want to see Little Star... cough, I want to ’carefully’ examine the patient’s condition."
He suddenly remembered that Eleanor Sterling had said she couldn’t reveal her identity, so he shouldn’t know Estelle Sterling now.
Alaric’s eyes narrowed slightly.
Why did he feel like Elder Sawyer was about to say Little Star just now?
Brian also said in a deep voice, "Hmm, I also need to confirm the patient’s condition."
The two of them entered the ward together.
The others also wanted to follow them in to check, but Elder Sawyer suddenly turned around, angrily shouting, "What are you all making a fuss about coming in for!"
He looked at Eleanor Sterling, saying, "Are you the patient’s parent? You come in with me."
Eleanor nodded, "Okay."
Alaric said to the Faulkner elder couple and others, "Grandpa and Grandma, please wait by the door. I will inform you of any developments."
Upon hearing this, the elder couple could only sigh and wait for news at the door.
Faye Sterling saw that Eleanor was allowed in as a special case, and she immediately went up to Brian.
Enthusiastically, she said, "Professor Zane, I’m Zion Sheffield’s student and Caleb’s mother. I want to go in and have a look too!"
Brian’s eyes narrowed. When did Zion Sheffield take a student?
They were always strict in accepting students, so it couldn’t be that they easily accepted one, but now wasn’t the time to discuss this.
He pondered for a moment and then said, "Alright, you can go in too."
Finally, Eleanor Sterling, Alaric Faulkner, and Faye Sterling followed Elder Sawyer and Brian inside.
On the hospital bed, Caleb Faulkner and Estelle Sterling lay together, both looking pale and extremely pitiable.
Elder Sawyer and Brian went over to examine their conditions separately, and after carefully checking, they swapped places to continue the examination.
Elder Sawyer’s expression was solemn, as if he already had an idea.
He looked at Brian, snorting peevishly, "Hey, old coot, what’s your view?"
Brian began, "Preliminary examination shows that the condition matches Zion Sheffield’s diagnosis. It appears to be neurotoxic, requiring special drugs to clear the toxins from the bloodstream, which might help them regain consciousness."
After he finished speaking, he looked at Elder Sawyer and asked, "What do you think?"
Elder Sawyer snorted coldly, arrogantly saying, "Hmph, I won’t tell you!"
In fact, his diagnosis was the same as Brian’s, but he didn’t want to admit it.
