Chapter 524: Chapter 524

In the departing white Maybach, Finn Morgan was surprised by her extravagance, "You must get quite a bit of pocket money every month, huh?"

"Comics make money." The girl sitting in the passenger seat was still playing a game and didn’t lift her head.

Finn drove, a bit surprised, "You’re still drawing?"

"I drew them back in high school, occasionally send some out for submissions, and they got quite a response." Newest update provided by novel⁂fire.net

Have to admit, she’s got talent in that area.

"By the way, why didn’t you wake me up this morning?" Hailey Hale questioned while playing her game, "Is it because you purposely wanted me to be late? Have CEO Kingston fire me? Out of sight, out of mind?"

"What are you thinking? Why is your imagination so wild?" Finn drove, glancing at her, "I did knock on the door, but you slept like a log and locked the door, what could I do?"

Hailey exited her game, looked at him in shock, "Big brother, what if something happened to me? Are you that careless?"

"What could happen?" he really couldn’t think of anything, "You’re in such good spirits, you’re not going to be depressed and suicidal."

"Okay." She withdrew her gaze, leaned into the seat, "You win."

Finn’s expression softened, and he reached for the water cup beside him, "Help me open this, thanks."

She reached over, "A thermos? Does it have goji berries in it?" she asked, unscrewing it and handing it to him.

"Not middle-aged yet, no need for that." Taking the cup, he sipped the warm water.

"Oh, right." Hailey suddenly thought of something, "I still haven’t bought underwear!"

Finn almost spat out his water, handing the cup back to her, "Buy your own underwear tomorrow, what? You want me to pick them out for you?"

"Oh, right." She shook her head, not knowing what she was thinking, took the cup, and put the lid back on.

Around eight in the evening.

The Lamborghini headed towards Emerald Cove, and the couple got off work.

Justin Kingston and Mia Lane sat in the back seat, and she leaned wearily against his arm.

Justin wrapped one arm around her shoulders, interlocking fingers with the other hand, his gaze deep and gentle.

The warm yellow light illuminated them, outside the window, the city was bustling and dazzling.

"Have you been focusing on the jewelry industry lately?" Mia asked softly.

Justin didn’t hide it, "Yes, I’ve sent people to Zulmar to collect the best emeralds, and The Argento Gold Mine has signed a long-term strategic partnership with our company."

"Mia." Justin hesitated to speak, because she was already under a lot of pressure, "Do you have any better ideas or suggestions for this kind of design?"

"Not yet, but I’m starting to pay attention to this area." Mia would do her best to help him out.

The two chatted, and as the car neared Emerald Cove.

Justin said to her, "You know, Hailey Hale is staying at Finn Morgan’s place."

"Huh?" She was shocked, turning from his embrace, looking at him in disbelief, "She hasn’t graduated yet."

Justin said, "But I’m not sure what their relationship is now."

Mia was shocked, thinking it seemed unlikely that those two, with such different personalities, could. Hailey’s still a kid, right?

"It’s good that you know, don’t inquire about it." Justin reminded her, "Finn didn’t say anything, maybe because he didn’t want us to know, maybe they’ve reached some kind of consensus."

Mia took ten seconds to accept this, "But Finn is reliable, stable personality."

Justin glanced out the window at the scenery, "Finn, he has a fiancée."

"What?" Mia was again shocked, thinking she must’ve misheard.
