Chapter 63: Chapter 63
Chapter 63 The Handle Of Horace Edie
"Let's go."
Moore Johnson gave Martin James a bitter look, then quickly turned and left.
After Moore left, the others followed too.
"Mr. James I'm so sorry that my nephew barged on to you like that. He was so ignorant. I will bring him to you to apologize." Peter Lawson respectfully apologized to Martin.
"Mr. Lawson was polite." Martin thought and just waved his hand to say never mind.
Peter was so respectful to Martin and apologized in Moore Johnson's behalf. Martin naturally did not need to trouble Peter.
When Peter saw Martin gestured this, he was finally relieved.
As for the commotion, since it happened at the outermost part of the venue and the venue was very noisy, it did not attract many people's attention. Especially with the big bosses inside of the venue, no one noticed what happened there.
Also goes for Hedy Julian's father, Miles Julian. Because he was talking to Chad Baker, he didn't notice Martin there.
At this time, Michael Bess who had gone to the toilet, walked in.
Michael saw that the atmosphere was not right and asked, "Mr. James, what happened?"
"Oh, nothing. There was just some jumping clowns." Martin smiled and shook his head.
"Mr. Lawson, you must be very busy today. You can go ahead now." Martin waved his hand.
"Okay, then I'll leave you gentlemen. Please excuse me." Peter smiled and nodded, then turned away recognizingly.
After Peter left,
"By the way, Mr. James. I just ran into the owner of Mars Group, Horace Edie outside. He should be coming in soon." Michael said.
"Horace Edie?" Martin murmured.
"Yes. When he comes in, he will definitely pass by here, and may meet with us." Michael said.
Martin was located near the door after all.
"In that case, I'll be glad to meet him. I have not seen him in person." Martin smiled.
While they were talking, a middle-aged man with a burly figure and acne-covered face, wearing a floral shirt and sunglasses, walked in.
Someone greeted, "Good evening, Mr. Edie!"
"Good evening, Mr. Edie!" said another one.
Wherever the man passed, everyone around him respectfully greeted him. He was full of aura and just strode forward ignoring the surrounding voices saying hello to him.
He is the chairman of Mars Group, Horace Edie.
In a blink of an eye, Horace walked up to Martin.
The next moment, he stopped right in front of Martin.
"Presumably this is the famous Mr. Edie?" Martin looked at Horace in front of him with a smile.
"Which dog is this, dare to stand in my way!?" Horace raised his head.
Martin frowned slightly.
Although neither of them had seen each other in person, Martin believed that Horace must have seen a picture of himself, and that Michael Bess was also standing next to him, enough to show him who he was.
But he pretended not to know him, and made it clear that he wanted to embarrass Martin.
"I thought Mr. Edie's style was enough, but it's a pity that my wife still wears a green hat." Martin sneered.
Horace, who was still holding up his chest heard the words of Martin His eyes suddenly twitched, and his face instantly became difficult to look at.
For Horace, this incident was definitely a hurdle and pain in his heart.
As a result, Martin opened his mouth and hit his pain point.
"Martin James! You! Are you looking for death?" Horace's eyes burned with anger.
"Oh, Mr. Edie, you know my name is Martin James! Are you just pretending not to know me? Why are you pretending?" Martin laughed.
"You! You!" Horace held his breathe and almost turned blue. He did not know how to refute it. He just screamed instead.
"Martin James, believe it or not, I will kill you now!" Horace glared at Martin with a fierce look.
After Horace finished speaking, he directly took out a military dagger he was carrying and pointed it at Martin's neck.
Martin squinted his eyes at Horace and said, "Everyone is watching. Would you really kill me? What is eating you? Is it because my grandfather is Morgan Gracie? You will die if you knew this."
Martin was not afraid of Horace actually doing it. First, Martin was sure that Horace will not be stupid enough to kill him in public.
The second was that the lone wolf was also protecting him in the dark. If Horace really does not have the brain and do it, the lone wolf will definitely do it too.
These two points made Martin fearless.
Colin Baker seeing this, he quickly pulled Horace away.
"Mr. Edie, put down your dagger quickly! This is not the right place to do it! He was right. If you do it here, then we will be finished!"
Although Horace was angry, when he heard this, he could only grit his teeth and put down the dagger.
Horace can get to the point. In addition to being ruthless, he naturally had a brain, and he certainly understood the truth.
"Boy, don't worry, even if I don't move you now, I can guarantee that you will never live for too long." Horace gritted his teeth.
"If you still want to send someone to kill me secretly, then you might be disappointed. The dozen or so little guys you sent last time were not enough for my teeth. " Martin sneered.
Horace's face changed.
"Those people, they were killed?" Horace's face became pale.
Horace had never found the dozen or so people who were sent out to kill Martin the last time. Now that Martin had said so, he was even more certain that the dozen or so people were probably dead.
It was just that Horace could not figure it out how more than a dozen people were attacked while riding, and Martin was just alone. How did Martin kill more than ten people?
"It was just that the people you sent were too weak. They were not enough to stuff my teeth." Martin said with disdain.
After a pause, Martin smiled and continued,
"By the way, you just threatened me, right? Then I threatened you too."
"Threatened me? Huh! What are you threatening me with?" Horace also sneered.
"Of course, I took this." Martin took out the phone and shook it in front of Horace.
"What do you mean?" Horace scowled. He did not understood what Martin meant.
"It's very simple. My phone is filled with your wife's green things. If I get in a bad mood, I might send this to many people." Martin said with a smile.
"You...you...you!"
After Horace heard Martin's threatening words, his angry face turned green.
Although the video was passed to his subordinates the last time, he gave out a death order. If anyone dared to spread the video, that person would die.
So this video did not circulate at all.
If this video were to circulate, his face would definitely be lost to his grandma's house.
Horace clutched his chest angrily. Nearly a mouthful of blood came out.
"Mr. Edie!" Horace's Colin Baker quickly stepped forward to hold on to him.
"How about? Your handle, isn't it weak?" Martin James said with a smile.
"You despicable brat! You are using this method to con me!" Horace angrily gritted his teeth.
"Despicable?" Martin smirked. "You are the first to be despicable. If you did not secretly cause trouble for the Gold Group, and if you did not send someone to assassinate me, will I persecute you? You just asked for it." Martin sneered.
After a pause, Martin continued,
"I will save this video for you first. If you dare to play tricks on me next time, I promise that all C City citizens will see this video."
"Asshole! Asshole! Asshole!"
Horace was about to explode. He knew that with the video in Martin's hands he could threaten him at any time.
"You're very angry, right? It doesn't matter, in today's auction we will compete with each other by our strength." Martin said with a smile.
At this time, Horace's eyes were red, and flashed with unstoppable anger.
Horace felt that the anger in his chest that was about to explode. He wanted to rush over and kill Martin now, but at the same time he knew he could not do that.
"Martin, I want you to look good at today's auction!" Horace stared at Martin, and his tone was cold.
Horace can't do anything to Martin now. He can only give Martin the revenge through today's auction.
Horace had already made up his mind. No matter how high the price is to be paid at today's auction, he will also give Martin a counter bid.
"Will the auction make me look bad? Then you may be disappointed. I will only make you look bad at today's auction." A smile appeared at the corner of Horace's mouth.
"Michael Bess, let's go!"
After Martin finished speaking, he took Michael Bess straight away.
"Damn bastard!"
Horace looked at the back of Martin leaving. His fists creaked, and his knuckles were all white from clutching hard.
