Chapter 149: Chapter 149
Chapter 149 Edwiin Birrell
"Chad!" Hedy Julian went straight to Chad Baker.
"Hedy, you are here too." It was only then that Chad Baker noticed Hedy Julian.
Instead of answering, Hedy Julian asked directly. "Chad, you said he was the chairman of Gold. Is he Morgan Gracie's biological grandson? Are you kidding me?"
Hedy Julian's eyes sparkled with shock.
Up to now, she had been a little afraid to accept this fact.
"Hedy, how can I joke about such a thing? Besides, your father knows about it. Didn't your father tell you about it?" Chad Baker said.
"My dad knows that too? I'll ask him."
After Hedy Julian finished, she took out his cell phone, pulled out his father's number and dialed it.
"Hello, daughter." The voice of Miles Julian came from the phone.
"Dad, Martin James, is he the chairman of Gold? Is he Morgan Gracie's biological grandson?" Hedy Julian questioned directly.
"Daughter, do you know? Now that you already know, there's no point in hiding it anymore. That's right. He is Morgan Gracie's biological grandson." Miles Julian said.
"You already knew that?" Hedy Julian questioned again.
"Of course. If he didn't have such a strong identity, how could I set you two up?" Miles Julian on the other end of the phone said with a smile.
When Hedy Julian heard this, she came to Darrell for nothing.
She finally understood. Why did her father hesitate to drug Martin James and kept persuading her to stay with Martin James?
She always wondered. Didn't her father want to find him someone with a strong background? Why did he set up a poor boy with him later? His father already knew the identity of Martin James.
"Dad, since you already know. Why didn't you tell me?" Hedy Julian shouted angrily.
"Daughter, this is what Mr. James means. He won't let me say it and I don't." Miles Julian said.
After hanging up the phone.
Hedy Julian looked at Martin James with a complicated look. "I can't believe you've been lying to me."
"On the day I signed up for the dance, I said I'm really rich for three generations. I'm not doing it for your property at all. Do you believe me now?" Martin James had no choice but to spread his hand.
Hedy Julian was dark and complicated. She understood that since Martin James was Morgan Gracie's grandson, it was really impossible for Martin James to get close to her for money.
Once upon a time, Hedy Julian had a lot of doubts. Why didn't Martin James charge money after she hired Martin James to impersonate his boyfriend?
Martin James once said that his car was better than hers. She also thought Martin James was bragging.
At one point, she even thought that Martin James was close to her because of her money and family fortune.
There were a lot of things about Martin James. She had doubts. She could not figure it out.
With the disclosure of Martin James's identity, all these doubts had been solved.
"Morgan Gracie's biological grandson, I didn't expect you to have such a status." Hedy Julian stared at Martin James in a dark and complex way.
"Hedy, can you accept me now?" Martin James said as he walked up to Hedy Julian.
After being stupefied for two seconds, Hedy Julian said in a cold voice. "Do you think you can make me obey you because you are Morgan Gracie's own grandson? I'm not the kind of woman who only has money in her eyes."
After that, Hedy Julian ran straight out.
"Hedy!"
Martin James thought that the announcement of his identity, Hedy Julian should be able to dispel your worries and make yourself responsible for her.
Martin James didn't expect Hedy Julian to refuse.
Martin James thought about it and chased her out.
Because Martin James had made up his mind about himself and Hedy Julian. No matter what it would come to an end today.
Out of the ballroom, Martin James chased some distance before he caught up with Hedy Julian.
"What are you doing here?" Hedy Julian glanced at Martin James beside him.
"Hedy, I did all this just because I was sorry to you that night so I want to be responsible for you. Did you understand?" Martin James said.
After a pause, Martin James continued. "As for the fact that I hid my identity before, it was because I didn't want to put pressure on you. I didn't mean to tease you."
Martin James felt that he needed to explain all this clearly now.
When Hedy Julian heard Martin James talked. Her eyes were red and two drops of tears fell from her eyes.
"Who wants you to be responsible? I told you. I don't want you to be responsible." Hedy Julian cried.
Why did Hedy Julian keep rejecting Martin James? Actually, there were two reasons.
First, she was afraid that Martin James would be with him for the sake of her family's wealth and not because of her.
There was another and more important reason.
She didn't want Martin James to be with her just because she was responsible for her. She wanted Martin James to really like her. That's why she's with Martin James.
If you wanted to ask her, did you have Martin James in her heart? In fact, she had Martin James in her heart.
For Hedy Julian, Martin James was the only different man she had ever met.
However, if Martin James was only responsible for that time and wanted to be with her. She would not accept Martin James.
She wanted to hear "I love you" and not "I am responsible for you".
Just now, she heard Martin James say to her, "When I want to be responsible for you". She couldn't help but burst into tears.
"Hedy!"
When Martin James saw Hedy Julian suffering, Martin James was also heartbroken.
Martin James really couldn't read Hedy Julian's mind. He didn't know what Hedy Julian thought.
Just then, a Bugatti was coming slowly ahead.
This Bugatti was worth tens of millions and many times more powerful than the Lamborghini from Martin James.
This kind of luxury car usually in C City, such a prefecture-level city also could not be seen at all.
Moreover, the license plate of this Bugatti was not the license plate of C City, but the license plate of the state.
When Bugatti got here, he suddenly stopped.
Then the door opened and one had a shaved head. A well-built man in camouflage T-shirts, camouflage trousers and military leather boots. He came out of the car.
"Sister Hedy!"
The man walked towards Hedy Julian with a smile on his face.
"Edwiin Birrell!" After Hedy Julian saw the arrival, there was a flash of shock in her eyes.
In a twinkling of an eye, the man walked up to Hedy Julian.
"Edwiin, when did you come back to C City?" Hedy Julian was surprised.
"This time the army is on holiday. I was bored in the state for a few days so I just wanted to come back to C City for a few days and visit you. I haven't seen for years." Edwiin Birrell said with a smile.
"Yes, we haven't seen each other in almost ten years." Hedy Julian nodded.
"That's right. Hedy, you're getting prettier now." Edwiin Birrell smiled.
Then, Edwiin Birrell frowned. "Hedy, your eyes are red, were you crying? Tell me. Who bullied you? Edwiin will take it out for you."
"No." Hedy Julian quickly wiped away her tears.
"Hedy, you are clearly crying."
Edwiin Birrell said was looking at Martin James.
Because around, there was only Andre Robin behind Martin James.
"Boy, you bullied Hedy? If so, get down on your knees and apologize to Hedy immediately." Edwiin Birrell spoke in a commanding tone.
"Who are you? What a big tone." Martin James stared at him with a sneer.
"Who am I? My name is Edwiin Birrell. I don't know if you've heard of it." Edwiin Birrell smiled.
"Edwiin Birrell? I'm sorry I haven't heard of it. Whoever you are, I advise you not to mess with me." Martin James said coldly.
"In the state, few people did not talk to me like that. I think you are tired of living in this little C City."
Edwiin Birrell said while grabbing Martin James by the collar.
"Grab my collar? Are you sure you can handle the consequences?" Martin James stared at the man with his eyes narrowed slightly.
Andre Robin who was behind Martin James also hurriedly said. "Hey, how come you got your hands on him! Do you know who he is? He's Morgan Gracie's own grandson!"
Andre Robin directly reported the identity of Martin James was trying to scare each other off.
"Morgan Gracie's own grandson?" Edwiin Birrell smiled.
"If it were the Don Morgan Gracie himself, I might give him some face. But you are only his grandson. In my eyes, you are not even a fart." Edwiin Birrell stared at Martin James with a smile.
Martin James frowned when he heard the words.
For the first time since Martin James met his grandfather. It was the first time that Martin James had encountered a situation in which he was not afraid at all after he reported his grandfather's name.
At this moment, Martin James vaguely felt that he was afraid that the life experience of this Edwiin Birrell was not simple and he might even be on top of him.
