Chapter 126: Chapter 126
Chapter 126 The Success Of The Villain
"Martin, I think you are a little better than before that you learned how to brag. A bad boy, reduced to handing out flyers, dares to brag that he drives a Lamborghini! You are really shameless." Greg smiled.
Lennon came forward and patted Martin on his shoulder and said with a smile, "Martin, you can go back to handing out flyers in this scorching sun. We are going to take a bath and massage for our health care, and people like you will probably have to hand out flyers for the rest of your lives."
After that, Lennon and Greg walked away with smug smiles.
Martin stared at the two men's back and sneered. "This is the so-called villain's success, isn't it?"
Then, Martin took it back and continue to hand out flyers.
He believed that there would be a right time to deal with them.
At this time, another pair of young men and women came to him head-on.
"Gentlemen, this is a new project of the Gold Group. Take a look."
Martin handed the leaflet to both of them.
"Ah!"
When the young woman took the flyer, she screamed when the coffee in her other hand was spilled on her clothes.
"You, lousy man! I got my clothes dirty. Do you know how expensive my dress is?" The young woman shouted at Martin with an angry look on her face.
"Well, I'm so sorry." Martin said.
The young man next to him yelled directly at him.
"Does an apology suffice? Pay for the damages! If you won't pay ten thousand dollars, you can't leave."
Martin frowned. "Gentleman, after she took the flyer, she tilted her hand with coffee and spilled it carelessly. I said I'm sorry. I've done nothing, but you want me to pay you ten thousand dollars. Aren't you going too far?"
Martin was not an arrogant and domineering person, regardless of right and wrong, if it was really him who spilled coffee, then he would absolutely pay them.
The problem was, the woman spilled the coffee herself, but they wanted Martin to pay ten thousand dollars. Then, whose shameless among them?
"How dare you answer back when you just hand out flyers? You are such a lowlife punk. My husband can trample you to death in a minute!" The woman shouted at Martin arrogantly.
"Ugly woman, please keep your mouth shut. It's hard to say who will trample who to death." Martin said coldly.
Martin used to be poor, so he didn't like to come off as breezy, but that didn't mean anyone can step on him!
"You! You called me ugly?" The woman looked exasperated.
"I'm not trying to say something else. I'm just telling the truth." Martin said calmly.
"You!" The young woman trembled with rage.
Then, she turned to her husband and said. "Dear, this boy is bullying me. You must do something for me!"
"Don't worry, I'll protect you!" The young man said.
The young man turned and stared at Martin and said in a cold voice. "How dare you, a flyer distributor, be so arrogant? Do you know who I am? Do you know the consequences of messing with me?"
"Sorry, I don't care who you are. You can't be better than me anyway." Martin said calmly.
After hearing his words, the young man burst into laughter.
The young woman also sneered. "A punk distributor. How dare you say such a thing? That's hilarious!"
"I'll tell you the truth, boy. My dad works as a supervisor in Gold Square. Do you understand how famous Gold is?" The man said proudly.
"Gold is awesome, and you say your father is a supervisor there? Your father will have to nod and pretend to be a loyal dog once he sees me. I'll just have to say one word and your father will be fired out of Gold!" Martin said calmly.
The couple laughed again.
"Boy, you can brag so much!"
"That is, you don't even bat an eye when you brag. It's a pity that you aren't an actor. Someone like you has the nerve to say such a thing."
At this time, a middle-aged man in a suit, carrying a cup of coffee, ran quickly towards there.
"Wendell Micah?"
The young man recognized the middle-aged man at a glance.
Then, the young man said to his wife. "Honey, did you see the man in the black suit? He's Wendell Micah from Gold Square, who happens to be my father's boss."
"Wow, so he is Wendell Micah." The young woman looked at Wendell in front of her with her eyes widened.
"Wendell, what are you doing?" The young man looked confused.
The young man usually saw Wendell with a dignified posture and walked calmly, but just now, why was he rushing?
What surprised the young man most was that he found that Wendell seemed to be running towards them. Was he looking for him?
Wendell came there in a blink of an eye. He walked directly in front of Martin.
"Mr. James. You must be thirsty under the blistering heat. I bought you the coffee myself."
Under the shocked eyes of the young man and woman, Wendell respectfully handed his coffee to Martin.
"Wendell, you have a kind heart." Martin took the coffee and took a sip.
"How is this..."
The couple saw the scenes unfolding before them, and in an instant, they were confused.
What's going on here?
Wendell actually bought coffee for and delivered it to this flyer distributor himself? And in such a respectful manner?
"Micah. Uncle Micah, is that you?" The young man stared at Wendell.
When Wendell heard this, he turned his head and looked at the young man.
"Oh, you are here, too? Do you know Mr. James?" Wendell kept an eye on him.
"Uncle, who is Mr. James? Do you mean... But, isn't he just a flyer distributor?" The young man couldn't help saying.
Wendell smiled. "Flyer distributor? This is Martin James, Chairman of the C City Branch of Gold Group!"
"The Chairman of Gold?"
The young man stared at him wide-eyed, and the news exploded in his ear like a blockbuster.
As for his wife, she was completely baffled.
They knew very well how powerful the Chairman of Gold was.
"If you are the Chairman of Gold, then why are you here to hand out flyers?" The young woman could not help exclaiming.
"Our chairman is going deep into the grass-roots level to set a good example for everyone." Wendell said.
After Wendell said that, the couple could not help swallowing their saliva violently. When they confirmed that the person they had just laughed at was the Chairman of Gold, their hearts immediately fell into the abyss.
Martin looked at Wendell and said indifferently, "I heard that his father is an executive in Gold Square, but he doesn't have to come to work tomorrow."
"All right, Mr. James." Wendell nodded respectfully.
"No!"
The young man shouted in despair that, afraid that his father might lose his job. And if his father knew that he had lost his job because of him, his good days would have come to an end.
Martin turned to look at the young man and said calmly, "As I said before, your father will have to bow when he sees me. I just say one word and your father will get out of Gold!"
Then, Martin looked at the young girl and said, "When I said you are ugly, I really meant it. You are really ugly."
With that, Martin turned and left with Wendell and walked to the rest of the square, leaving only two people with a look of fear.
Martin James handed out leaflets in Gold Square and didn't finish his work until 12:00 noon.
Then, Martin invited all the staff who handed out flyers to have a light meal at a restaurant in Gold Square before he left.
In front of, Martin's house in a shantytown.
"Stop, boy!"
Martin had just parked his car and walked to the door when a burly man suddenly stopped him.
The man was the one sent by Horace, Gorilla.
"Who are you?" Martin looked at the man with a slight frown.
"I'm the one who wants you dead!" Gorilla sounded rough.
"If you want to kill Martin, ask me first if I'd ever allowed that."
A hoarse, low voice rang from behind Gorilla.
Gorilla turned his head and saw that it was Lone Wolf he was warned about.
"You're this boy's bodyguard, right? Then, I'll take care of you first before I finish off the kid."
Gorilla said while taking off his coat, showing his strong muscles.
"There were a lot of people who wanted to take care of me." Martin's bodyguard told him. "But, oh, they're all corpses now."
Lone Wolf made a hoarse sound.
