Chapter 104: Chapter 104

Chapter 104 The Talk

"What are you talking about?" Martin said as he glared at Moore. "You're Hedy's boyfriend?"

"That's right, Martin! He's my boyfriend now, so you can give up on me completely!" Hedy said.

"Hedy, are you kidding me? Don't you hate that guy?" Martin retorted. "Are doing this to annoy me?"

"That's none of your business." Hedy said as he gave Martin a cold look.

"What does her relationship with me have to do with you, anyway?" Moore chimed in. "You've already been dumped by Hedy and yet why are you so shameless? Aren't you a poor bastard who doesn't deserve Hedy at all?"

"Moore, do you even know what I can do with just a snap of my finger? Whoever tries to disrespect me will have to pay." Martin said as he glared daggers at Moore.

All of a sudden, Hedy's father, Miles, stood up and looked at his own daughter with a worried look. "Hedy, please tell me you're just fooling around."

Although Moore had more money and a high status, Miles looked down on him because Moore's wealth was similar to his son-in-law, who was much better than Moore.

"Uncle Julian, you should be happy for Hedy because she got to leave the poor life that she had. If she hadn't it's going to be impossible for her to be happy." Moore told Miles.

"That's utter bullshit! What do you know about our family?!" Miles shouted.

Before things got out of hand, Martin interrupted Miles. "Miles, this is a feud between me and Moore, so let me handle it by myself."

When Miles heard what Martin said, he simply nodded and tried to calm himself down. He knew who Martin really was and he knew that Martin wanted to deal with Moore as soon as possible, so he didn't say anything anymore.

It was then that Martin looked at Hedy first with a serious expression. "Hedy, I'm here to see you today. Can I talk to you?"

There was a flash of hesitation in Hedy's eyes, but she made up her mind in almost an instant.

"There's nothing to talk about between us!"

All of a sudden, Moore stood directly in front of Hedy. "You said that you want to talk to my girlfriend, right? I'm afraid you'll have to ask me if I agree."

Moore didn't conceal the arrogance that came along with what he said, as if he were showing off that he had succeeded in making Hedy his.

However, Martin's blood boiled. Since Hedy and him already had sex, he naturally regarded Hedy as his own woman.

"In that case, how about we talk alone?" Martin said as he glared at Moore.

"That's fine." Moore said with a smile. "I'd like to talk to you alone, too."

With that, both Martin and Moore went straight out of the villa and went to a corner just outside the door.

"Just say it, Martin." Moore said as he gave Martin a cold look. He didn't take him seriously at all because he was just a poor man with no money and no power.

"You were the one who ruined my reputation by spreading rumors in the post bar, right?" Martin immediately said.

"What rumors?" Moore laughed. "I was just telling people the truth. You want to pretend to be rich so you can be admired by other people, right?"

"I can tolerate that." Martin said sternly. "But in Hedy's case, I won't have any tolerance. I'll give you a chance to leave Hedy"

"Are you commanding me?" Moore chuckled. "How utterly cute. What are you even proud of?"

"I'm the chairman of the C City Gold Group branch."

"Hold on... You're the chairman of Gold Group?" Moore laughed. "Are you trying to scare me by pretending that you're a chairman of Gold Group? You can't lie to me."

Anger immediately flashed in Martin's eyes when he heard Moore's words. He usually didn't get angry easily, but once people made him angry, the consequences were absolutely unimaginable.

"It seems like you didn't cherish the opportunity I gave you." Martin glared at Moore. "You'll definitely regret your decision. After that, I'm going to make you kneel and beg for mercy."

"Are you serious?!" Moore laughed even harder. "Do you really expect me to believe your sorry ass? Go away, scumbag! You don't deserve Hedy."

When Moore was done laughing, he walked straight inside the villa. Martin didn't enter the villa again and instead, he just turned around and left.

Martin could only think of one thing at that time and he vowed that he would make Moore regret everything that he did to humiliate him.

Meanwhile when Moore still talked to Martin, Miles decided to approach his daughter.

"What kind of game are you playing, Hedy? Didn't you hate Moore the most?" Miles said as he tried to reason with his daughter.

"I don't anymore." Hedy retorted. "Don't you only care about the families of my boyfriends, dad? Moore's family is a thousand times better than Martin's. What are you not satisfied with?"

At that point, Miles simply shook his head.

Just then, Moore walked in the villa as if nothing happened.

"Where's Mr. James?" Miles asked.

"Uncle Julian, he got frightened by me because of the things I told him. He's scared out of his mind right now." Moore laughed.

Miles simply sneered at Moore. He knew deep inside his head that Martin wouldn't be intimidated by a man like Moore.

Not to mention, he knew Martin's background, so that was entirely impossible.

"Uncle Julian, that kid is so poor, though. And yet you call him Mr. James? That's too flattering." Moore added.

Miles shook his head. "Moore, you offended him. That's going to be the biggest mistake of your life, mark my words."

"Miles, he's a very good liar. You haven't been fooled by that kid, have you?" Moore said.

"Alright, that's enough. You can go out now." Hedy said as she waved to Moore. In fact, she didn't even look at him in the eye.

"But Hedy, I haven't had dinner yet." Moore retorted.

"So what? You can buy your own food, right?" Hedy said as she walked upstairs.

Moore couldn't help but frown when he noticed Hedy being so indifferent to him.

"One day, I'll take your virginity, Hedy. Just you wait." Moore said as he murmured to himself.

Meanwhile, Martin left Hedy's home and went directly to his Lamborghini so he could go to a villa in the city.

When Martin arrived at the villa, an old man stood at the door.

The old man was Nigel Whyet. He was in charge of the C City Chamber of Commerce and he simply wanted to go see Martin after he left his business card with him.

After Martin got off his car, Nigel smiled. "It's a real honor for me to have Mr. James come visit me."

"Hello, there, Mr. Whyet." Martin said as he reached his hands out to Nigel's.

Soon after they shook hands and Nigel welcomed Martin inside his humble abode.

It was then that Nigel ordered Martin a cup of coffee.

After Martin took a sip of coffee, he looked at Nigel. "Mr. Whyet, I came to see you because I kind of need help with something."

"Of course. I'm willing to do anything you want me to do as long as I can do it."

"Well, first off, I want you to invite all the billionaire's in C City. Tell them I'm inviting them to dinner at the Castle Peek Hotel at noon tomorrow." Martin smiled.
