Everyone cleared the dancefloor for them per granny's orders. Hugh held Fiona's hands as they joined their son on the dancefloor then everyone followed while Audrey and Lucas were in their world lost in each other's eyes. Only then did Lola and Ava realized they've been bested. Nate and Roman distracted them with the dance so that Luke can approach Audrey. Damn, they cursed looking at her immersed stare.

" You look stunning Audrey" he commented as she smiled putting her hands around his neck.

" Why did you change your hair? He asked touching her hair

" This is my natural hair color. I changed it for security reasons" she stated knowing he'd understand which he eventually did by nodding

" It's suits you better. " He commented twirling her which she didn't complain about. She held him again resting on his shoulder to catch her breath from the twirling.

Adrian wasn't happy with what he was seeing. He was determined to ruin it if he sees the chance.

" You and I are meant for each other Audrey. I'm sorry for the slams. Viola lied to me. I can't begin to imagine what you went through for years. I hope I can wipe it away with time" he stated as she smiled

" I love you Luke" she muttered softly facing him. He was remorseful which gladdens her.

" You know I'll always love you and nothing can change that" he leaned kissing her. She held him tight as the feeling of missing him overwhelmed her that she forgot people were watching them.

Granny smiled at the unfolding Union. It seems her plan worked and they're back together again or so she thought.

Audreys kiss with Lucas made Adrian angry as if recalling his intimate moments with her. The time when she solemnly belonged to him and him alone. He clenched his fist fuming with anger.

The kiss was becoming intense that they had to broke it gasping and panting as their forehead was on each other smiling

" Is there anything else I need to know besides this," he asked staring at her and discovered there is. He was looking forward to what it was.

" I can't tell you here. We should talk about it after the party " she suggested as he nodded. Dancing time was over and most people were seated

He led her to the high table while she excused herself to use the restroom. Adrian saw it as an opportunity to put his plan into action.

Luke remained standing waiting for her to return when Adrian approached him with a grin plastered on his face.

" Must be an interesting day for you to kiss her publicly. Wait a minute. This is the second time you're kissing her in public. I have a piece of shocking news to reveal to you" he trailed off as Lukas raised a brow in anticipation

" Did she tell you that I was her first and regular in the brothel? He asked as Lucas punched him the minute he mentioned the brothel. He laughed hysterically

' I had her on several occasions. She's pretty fuck** up by me" he revealed as he punched him harder while he fell to the floor. He hovered over him pouncing on him. The corner of the high table was a bit far from the crowded hall and with loud orchestrating music, people couldn't hear him but saw the recurrent punch Luke gave him.

His four friends starred at each other and hurried to them while his parents followed including some guests who were surprised at his behavior.

Initially, his friends wanted to stop him but stopped as they saw Adrian smirking

" Say it again you bastard. You took advantage of an innocent girl he punched him again

" She was willing and I remember her melodious moan" he stated as Roman punched him too in understanding that he's talking about Audrey to infuriate Lucas.

With five to one, Adrian stopped gloating for fear of his life. Hugh had to call for backup to stop his son and his friends from killing him. Adrian was taken to the hospital with severe injuries though it didn't quench Lucas's anger.

" Son, calm down. It's your birthday and we've guests. Adrian is gone already" she consoled bitterly having guessed what the fuss was about

" I'm going to kill him " he snapped.

Granny urged them to continue with the birthday party while Lola, Ava, and Vanessa were looking for Audrey. They called her but noticed her clutch purse was with Stella.

Audrey did stay long in the restroom because Jenny stopped her from going anywhere with her venomous mouth.

She was about to return to the hall when Jenny blocked her way.

" Well, well, well look who is back? The seductress herself"

" I don't have time for this," she said using a towel to wipe her hands

" You're a bitch. Do you think he loves you? You're just one sexy woman to him "

" Is this about the kiss? He wanted me as much as I wanted him. There's nothing you can do about it. We love each other. Don't waste your youth waiting for him. " She advised wanting to leave but she dragged her back

" Stay away from him. You're ruining my chances of being with him. I've loved him all my life" she snapped

" Too bad he doesn't feel the same way. I'm tired of repeating myself. Jenny, my Luke doesn't know of your existence believe me" she said as Jenny left angrily for fear of being hit.

She sighed returning to the hall which was calm as if nothing happened. Waiters and waitresses were moving around serving guests. She looked around with wandering eyes searching for Luke but he was nowhere to be found then she got a glimpse of Lola in the crowd. She walked into the crowd to meet her.

Stella and Fiona were searching for her and finally found her.

" Where have you been? They asked as Stella handed her a purse

" In the restroom. Where's Luke? She asked as they laughed to hide the truth

" I don't know. You haven't had anything. It's refreshments time" said Granny leading her Away winking at Fiona who sighed.

What they found out didn't stop them from loving her less. They didn't have a problem with it but prays Luke accepts her besides everyone has a past they're not happy about.

She dined with Luke's parents still searching for him. Hugh, Stella, Granny, Fiona, Prudence, Nate, and Peter will look at her waiting eyes feeling guilty for not telling her. They wouldn't want her to be ashamed. Not that they think less of her. Will and Roman were with Lucas trying to calm him down.

Ava and Lola didn't say anything either for the time being .while Jenny looked for Adrian and was told what transpired. She was surprised Luke was that violent. Though the onlookers didn't hear what they said. they pretty much made up a story that Adrian was beaten up by Lucas because he wasn't invited to the party.

According to rumor his four notorious friends always take his side.

Audrey didn't see a shadow of Lucas till the birthday ended at eleven at night mainly because the gift presentation took long with the inspection and all.

Granny told Bobby to drop Audrey off till Luke calms down. Ava and Lola boarded the same car but said nothing either as she was sulking over Luke's disappearance.

Luke's friends were seated in his living room. Looking at his angry face.

" Everyone has a past lover Luke. Forget about it" advised Roman

" She has met him a thousand times yet she didn't tell me about it. Here I was on the verge of reconciling with her. " He stated

" I understand. Just calm down" said Will

" How can I be calm when Adrian and I have had the same woman and he boasted it out mocking me," he said throwing his cup of water away to God's know where

" Talk to her. She's the only one qualified to answer you. Your outburst is understandable" said Roman who doesn't see anything wrong with it.

They stayed with him all night reasoning along with Nate and Peter who joined later on. Roman hoped Luke's anger subside to avoid regret. They had to calm him down which eventually worked.

Audrey entered the house while her friends entered seconds later. She puts her hands on her waist looking at them

" Spill girls. What did I miss? I know something happened while I was away" she demanded ready to hear everything

Ava cleared her throat searching for the right words to use but couldn't say anything.

" Lola, talk to me. You're good at spilling bad news" she demanded as Lola opened her mouth but closed it afterward

" Is it that serious? What could be too heavy for you to spill " she asked amused glaring at Lola

" He knows Audrey. He knows" said Ava but Audrey didn't understand a word that came out of her mouth

" Who knows? And what does he know? She speculated giving them a go-ahead stare

" Adrian, that bastard blurted out your previous ...." Stuttered Ava as Audrey's eyes widened in realization.

She sat down on the couch like a weak vegetable. No wonder the Hamiltons treated her with so much care too caring that she knew something was wrong.

" In public? She stuttered as Lola nodded.

" Omg. Is he Crazy? Who does he think he is? She asked vexed

" Don't worry. Luke and his friends gave him the beating of his life. He'll remain in the hospital for a few weeks. He almost killed him. I may not like his slamming words but I like his actions. He stood up for you shutting him up. Just a few people heard it. The Hamiltons. " She explained as Audrey felt like burying herself.

How will she face them? Better still, how will she explain it to Luke. It seems their reconciliation was just her wishful thinking. Ava and Lola sat beside her giving her a bear hug consolation.
