The duping became the number one topic in the media. The board members began to withdraw their shares from the company one by one with the fear of Lucas selling it along with the company.

Ivy was in ruin. It's no doubt her biggest company. She had to sell her two companies to pay Lucas for it to remain standing through her investors were gone. She raised the money eventually and proceeded to see Lucas on the tenth of January.

'" good day Mr. Hamilton," she said dropping a suitcase beside her

" You've my money, right?

" Yes Sir. Here it is " she said putting it on the desk

" Open it. How much is it? He asked as she opened the suitcase for him to see

Lucas stared at her than the money. Did she sell her company bit by bit to raise his money?

" Two billion include the raw material investment," she said

" That's good. I have a better idea. I'll buy your godforsaken company and pay you two billion dollars" he offered as she stares at him surprised

" My biggest company? She asked. The company cost her millions to stand and it made its name to a billion-dollar company within two years. She can't sell her only company

" I don't think so. It's not for sale" she stated

" I'll advise you think it over," he said sternly

" It's not for sale. Good day Mr. Hamilton"

" We could recommend you as a shareholder. It's better than bankruptcy" he said nonchalantly

" I'm not in bankruptcy. Thank you for your time" she curtsied and left. He picked the suitcase and grinned. She doesn't know how the business world works. He'll leave her to Audrey.

Ava called Audrey for a big announcement. She drove to their booked box to meet her.

" How did it go, Manuel?. She asked as Ava and Manuel smiled

" This calls for celebration. " She smiled

" Thank you, Manuel. You've done well" she complimented as Manuel gave a bow proudly.

Now that Ivy had just one property left, she can deal with the aftermath. She's going to keep pushing her until she confesses to her crimes.

" What's next Audrey? Asked Ava as Audrey's phone rang

" A minute, please. " She said picking her call. Vanessa informed her of Ivy's presence in the city.

She hurriedly left the box driving as fast as she could to meet her before she leaves without a word to Ava.

Her speed was on the high side as she alarmed the traffic officers again. She mumbled pulling over for them to do their work and left afterward.

Ivy has made up her mind on what to do with Audrey but how will she do it? Audrey might be on the watch against her. She alighted from the car and was about to board her private jet when Audrey stopped in front of them revving her car.

" Get out of my way Audrey.. what are you doing? She asked viscously. Scared she might run her through

" Guards, stop that madwoman " she ordered. The men shot at her car but nothing could pass it. Audrey smiled. Isn't Luke a darling for giving her the best Christmas gift?

Ivy ran inside the car. shutting it while her guards kept on wasting their bullets. By the time they were out of ammo, she stepped out with slow-motion grinning. Few guards suddenly dropped their weapons and retreated while others attacked her. Audrey went ahead to fight them off while ivy ran away driving as fast as she could. No place is safe she concluded.

Audrey gritted her teeth shooting the guards and boarded her car driving at a higher acceleration due to anger. She was losing her so she shot at her tires which screeched spinning around as ivy was screaming her lungs out wondering if she's going to die.

Audrey drove forward blocking the way as Ivy's car hit hers and it came to a stop .she pushed her out of the car into hers.

" Now let's talk" she grinned as Ivy's face darkens

" I don't have money and I didn't steal from you" she mumbled scared out of her wit then saw cars coming their way. She sneered and drove off.

" Audrey, have you gone mad? I'm your family: your only family for christ's sake?

' shut your mouth. Tell me the truth or I will kill you here and dump your corpse into the sea " she threatened as ivy was trembling

" Fine, I took it. Now I'm broke. I don't have such amount of money to give you" she said shakily

" Oh yeah? Watch me " she said driving off. The cars chased after them while ivy was screaming for help. Audrey got angry and knocked her out. She knew they were after her because of ivy so she pushed her out of the car while slowing down a little that didn't keep ivy from having injuries.

She looked from the rearview mirror to see if they will rescue her and they did. She drove off perhaps when the autopsy result is out. She took the route into town.

Buying Ivy's company from her was her major concern. Now that she had two of her company, she felt fulfilled. Ivy will get it. Now she had to look for ways to buy the remaining company.
