Ava was ready to sign the contract with ivy who eventually came for it but another man represented Ava. Ivy tried as much to ignore her instincts at last she shook it off. The contract was signed and it was worth a lot of money. The newest CEO of starlight wines did his thing and left to report to the girls while Ivy was glad she had such a big investor. She didn't have to put up with Lucas's attitude anymore.

" So Ivy how did your meeting go? Asked Viola

" Fine. Splendid. I have a big investor. I'm going to be filthy rich" she jubilated as Viola smiled. the more money she made the more she can steal.

" Congratulations Ivy, what about Audrey?

" That bitch won't hurt me. I have a Trump card" she grinned mischievously as Viola wondered what she had against Audrey.

The acting CEO of starlight wine entered a private section of a building ready to meet his boss.

" So, how did it go? ? Asked Ava

" How much did she invest? Asked Audrey?

' what was your fee? Asked Lola as Manuel the acting CEO smiled.

" She took the bait" he announced breaking the tension in the room

" What's at stake? Asked Audrey who was dying to hear how much she has lost from an eight years contract. It got to be much.

" Starlight stakes odd is by thirty while hers is by thirty. The contract cost a total amount of one billion dollars which is here in cash and Miss Audrey the fake dollars did a perfect job. She didn't notice it" he said dropping a briefcase on the table which was loaded with money

" Manuel, well done. How did you convince her to use cash instead of the account? Asked Lola impressed by him

" Women are easy to manipulate" he stated earning a glare from the trio. He quickly rephrased his words

" I mean she is new to the business so it wasn't that difficult. I think she has been in the business section for five or six years mainly with lower companies." He chuckled

" Well done, you've done well. You know what to do. We'll let you know when everything is fine. Thanks for the hard work" said Ava in appreciation

" It's your turn, Ava. It's your turn to give her a throbbing heart attack, the one she'll not likely recover from. " Said Audrey grinning with bliss.

The trio smiled and took the suitcase. Manuel relaxed on the chair watching the three sexy ladies leave. They're not to be messed with. He knew that.

A few days later, Ava told her secretary to call Ivy reminding her of the contract. Ivy was shocked to hear it so therefore came to starlight wine afterward to see Ava who was sitting in the executive chair signing some checks. She entered with a confused expression as Ava directed her to sit down.

" Welcome, Miss Jerkins I assume you have backed out of our deal. A lot of companies are dying to sign a contract with me and you don't seem to be one of them" she said sternly

" What do you mean? Your acting CEO Manuel signed the contract already and we agreed on thirty percent stakes" she stated fidgeting

" What! I fired Manuel a month ago over theft. I found out he divides stakes taking the profit. " She announced as Ivy shook her head like a lizard in utmost dismay.

" That can't be. He said he was representing you and the company. Call him and ask" she requested sweating already

" Why don't you call him cos I don't have it. He didn't leave a clue so I figure I have to find prove to arrest him. It seems you will be that proof" she said sternly

" You don't understand. I signed the contract already and I paid in cash. Did he dupe me? She was fidgeting pacing.

" I paid a total amount of five hundred million dollars in cash. " She yelled

" Then I assume he paid you the same. Why are you yelling? Ava queried as ivy picked her phone to confirm but his number was switched off. She didn't know what to do.

" You would have called me Miss Jerkins besides I called you several times that day," said Ava feigning pity

" He was against it and I switch my phone off during meetings. You have to help me. My money is gone"

" But you have his money" she suggested as Ivy called his accountants to check the authenticity of the money.

" I'm so sorry Miss jerkins. Accept my apologies" said Ava standing up to help her sit

" Shall we sign the contract now? She trailed off seeing a frustrated Ivy fuming with anger

" I'm going to find that bastard to retrieve my money. I'll find him even if he runs to the end of the world" she vowed to take her bag to leave

Ava held the urge to laugh seeing her fuming with anger

" And I'll take this company along if you don't find him. Watch me" she threatened to leave.

Ava rolled her eyes in disgust hearing her spiteful words. Well, good luck with that poor investor. She kept wondering how Manuel robbed her of such a huge amount of money. About her taking it to the press, she was sure it won't happen. She was stupid to invest so much in one place. Now should her shareholders hear of it, who'll be in trouble? Audrey is one smartass she concluded.

Ivy started the search for Manuel eventually. Looking for him here and there in agitation. She was duped half a billion. How could she be so stupid? She didn't want to involve the press in fear of alarming her shareholders. She cursed her stars for bringing such a misfortune against her.

Ava went home to announce the good news after she was sure it was a process. They were popping wine to celebrate their intelligence.

" You should have seen her face Audrey, she looked like a corpse. I'm sure she had little left" mocked Ava as they laughed continually

" That's just a warning. Tomorrow my deadline ends. She'll have to get me my money though she's ignoring my calls' said Audrey pouring herself a glass of wine

" She's a bitch. A dull, stupid bitch. " Cursed Lola

" She has always been stupid" commented Audrey sitting cigarettes which Ava collected

" No smoking Audrey, today is a good day. You might develop lungs cancer" she laughed cos they all smoke

" Says who? Laughed Lola swaying to the music

It was a dream come true for Audrey as the first step was a success. Bankrupting Ivy was too easy with her level of stupidity or was it Manuel's charms. She owed him big time.

Ivy was miserable searching for Manuel and the company began to ask questions including Lucas who summoned her to his office. Ivy entered his office arranging her face.

" Good morning sir Lucas, you sent for me"

" What's good about the morning Miss Jerkins? He asked nonchalantly

" You don't look well. Don't you have a sibling? Perhaps anyone to take over from you? Cos you're inexperienced in this field. " He stated

" I've no one. My sister is dead and my niece has been missing for years now. She might be dead also. I know why you called and I'm working on it" she assured him

" This is a stern warning. The next time I summon you. I'll be selling your raw material industry to replace my lost money with interest. Am I clear?

" Yes sir. Thanks" she stated standing up to leave

" About your niece, kindly describe her perhaps I can help in finding her whether dead or alive" he suggested

" No need for that sir. I'm certain she's dead already. She was just a teenager when she was napped and they didn't demand ransom. Not that we were rich anyway. May God rest her soul" she sniffles

Lucas may concern was on her phrase" not that we were rich" if they weren't wealthy, how did she accomplish her wealth? No wonder she was inexperienced.

" That's okay. You may leave and remember my warning" he reminded as Ivy heaved a sigh of relief leaving.

She had to make up for the lost millions. How did he make such fake dollars.? She was frustrated about leaving for the airport when Audrey blocked her path of course Vanessa told her.

" Auntie, I've been trying to reach you but no response" she exclaimed blatantly stepping out of the car knocking on the glass door

" What do you want? Snapped Ivy who wasn't in a good mood

" My money. Millions of dollars or should I say billions now including interest for stealing it" she smirked

Ivy gritted her teeth ordering the driver to hit her car out of the way which he did. She watched as he drove past her and shot at the tires which made the car screech trying to hold the brake. The driver tried to gear faster but the car eventually hit a pole.

She walked to them tsking her tongue while Ivy managed to step out of the car bruised in the head.

" Audrey, you almost killed me you spoilt brat. What has come over you?

" I need my money auntie. I guess you bought that car with it and hired the wounded driver with it too" she queried in anger

" I don't have your money. And you almost killed me. " She was surprised at how much she has changed

'" I know. You ruined my car. Let's just say we're square. Now my money," she said smirking

" I don't owe you money, not even a penny. So get out of my way" she snapped

" Oh please shut up auntie. Or should I take it to court? I have the receipts" she threatened

" How much do you want?

" Not much. Two billion dollars for the savings, the house, the workshop, the insurance, and the kidnap" she said grinning mischievously

" I've nothing to do with the kidnap. I don't have such an amount of money" she lamented

" Yes, you do. You gambled my life for business. Now I want everything that you stole from me back. " She refuted

" Watch my lips Audrey I'm not giving you a penny. You used your body to fetch money for others. That's on you. I have nothing to do with you" she exclaimed as Audrey pushed her to the crashed car forcefully

" You sold me to Viola? You bitch" she said pointing a gun at her stomach.

" Look at you, behaving like one. I brushed you up to this standard. You're learned because of me. I did you a favor cos no one wanted you anyway"

" I'm going to enjoy watching you suffer Ivy. Then I'm going to let you know how it feels to be brushed up. " She started using the gun to hit her

" Give me the money or you die while I inherit it. I'm your only niece after all" She threatened as Ivy's face darkens. She knew she wasn't bluffing. How will she escape this? She thought of a way when his driver attacked Audrey with an iron rod. She moved out of the way while Ivy quickly called the police.

His head was bleeding just like Ivy's. His were worse. She watched him make a move and slides down using her heels to hit his leg and he fell. She picked the iron rod .she was about to hit him with it when she heard someone shout her name to stop. She looked his way and saw Victor running to her. He collected the rod from her and assumed the two cars hit each other.

" what happened Audrey? He asked checking for any injuries. While Ivy was speechless, did she create a monster out of Audrey? She was a meek fray girl who couldn't even hurt a fly. She had respect for human life.

The police wrapped up and took them to the station to lay a complain

" I'm not done with her yet. She's going to get it' she lamented as Victor saw hate in her eyes.

Ivy went home eventually thanking her stars for her driver who saved her life. She was more certain Audrey would have killed her today.
