It's been forever: Genevieve had been driving her to the hospital which she was sure wasn't on their route . ' perhaps, he has a private hospital attending to him " she thought looking here and there eager to see him.
Genevieve swiped her phone.
" Are you nuts? Someone is dying and you're still surfing? I'll drive.. come down From the car " she exclaimed as Genevieve sighed dropping her phone
" I'm using GPS. It's classified information. The hospital is supposed to be hidden " she stated gearing to another route
Audrey didn't understand a thing she said but if it'll calm her down she didn't mind.
Finally, the car came to a stop in a very beautiful environment in front of the tallest skyscraper she has ever seen.
" Lead the way. " She ordered as Genevieve nodded looking at the short Jean's skirt she was putting on and the short top which was on her belly button. She shook her head. 'He won't blame her right? ' she concluded taking an elevator.
They entered a dark room which made Audrey doubt if she was telling the truth. Bobby is the only one allowed to drive him around and she has never seen him drive. 'Can he drive? ' she wondered.
The lights were turned on, reality dawned on her that she has been tricked. Granny, Stella, and Mr. Hugh smiled pointing to the words displaying on the screen. Her heart skipped as she saw what was written: WILL YOU MARRY ME AUDREY ZACHARY* written in capital letters.
She read it again with wandering eyes looking for the man who is asking her to marry him. She suddenly noticed she was standing alone amid many guests and she wasn't shaking or nervous. ' did I walk all the way here? She thought smiling.
Where's the man asking her to marry him? 'She sighed then looked to the right as Lucas's four friends made way. Leaving a passage in the middle. She saw him holding a ring box with a bouquet walking majestically to her.
He smiled at her that she couldn't help smiling back then twirl her locking gaze with her with no gap between them whilst he leaned to her right ear
" Will you marry me, Audrey? She chuckled nodding then whispered to him too
" Yes Luke, I'll marry you. " then pecked him
" Speak louder. We want to hear it " urged granny who can't wait to bid the union
Luke laughed at his granny's impatience and looked at her with one knee down opening the ring box then asked again.
" Audrey Zachary. Will you marry me? He asked raising a brow as she started sobbing then smiled urging him to stand up.
" Yes!!! I'll marry you. I'll love to be your wife" she jumped at him kissing Him.
Luke tried to stop her but she was immersed in it. 'The video is going to last a few decades in his family history' he thought.
The crowd applauded them moved by their enthusiasm. Granny went forward to congratulate them: hugging Audrey while she whispered something to her.
" I need six grandchildren from you. The earlier you begin the better for you" she giggled making her flinch.
Patty came forward to congratulate her too with a hug and a kiss
" Thanks, everyone but you all pranked me. I almost had a heart attack." She blamed them as they laughed at her. She turned to Luke with determination. He could tell she has something to say.
" I don't know what I'd do if I lose you, Luke," she said passionately that Luke could tell she wasn't joking.
" I'd go crazy. I thought I pushed you away. I can't believe I walked all the way here" she giggled as he removed strands of hair from her face grinning at her in ecstasy
" That was what you wanted? A reaction from me? You're a daredevil Luke" she accused staring at his deep eyes which were filled with love for her
" I don't like what you're wearing" he whispered holding her while dancing. She looked down at herself than at the big screen in the auditorium which means she was on live coverage looking like this? And her disheveled hair? She felt aggrieved
" It worked didn't it,? You can walk properly now. Let's get married tomorrow Audrey" he suggested as she broke from the dance searching for answers
" The engagement party is fine but I have to finish some things" she hinted as he understood her
" That can wait. They're going nowhere. I don't want you to end their life anyway. I'll do that for you" he said softly cupping her cheeks
" Then tomorrow it is " she tiptoed to kiss him.
She thought everything was over for her that Fate had terrible things for but she doesn't mind as long as she can walk and be with him nothing matters anymore. She just wants to reciprocate his love and devotion to her for the past fourteen months. She wants to spoil him with Passion.
Luke has been thinking of a way to wed her but couldn't with the fear of rejection due to her condition, he wanted to prove to her that he'll love her across time again and again and again for the rest of his life. Sometimes people appreciate what they have when they're on the verge of losing it. That's the case with Audrey. She wanted to pour out her heart to him in guilt.

Just to be sure Audrey moved around the hall occasionally shaking hands and nodding at the guest with congratulatory pleasantries. She was back to normal. Luke saved her despite her slams and rantings, he didn't lose hope. She felt indebted to him for eternity. The things he had done to prove his love for her are beyond her wildest imagination.
