Chapter 321: Chapter 321

Although they were on guard and preparing for battle, they had no idea what was happening behind them.

They wanted to know why.

Alka nodded to them and then led them into the captain’s cabin.

Once they were all seated, he said, "Just now, four ships were behind us: the Hand of Burning Blood, the Skull-Crushing Knight Order, and the Tulip Empire. All of them were fleeing."

Upon hearing this, everyone frowned seriously.

These groups were all quite renowned, especially the first two, which were truly illustrious.

There was also the ship from the Tulip Empire, which might have possessed a Treasure.

Even with Julia, they couldn’t be sure their current position was stronger than the combined might of those ships.

"It must have been an incredibly powerful Sea Beast," Alka continued. "They only managed to escape at the cost of one of the Tulip Empire’s ships being destroyed. It’s uncertain if they truly got away."

In Alka’s view, the last Tulip Empire ship seemed to have had its Spell functions intentionally disabled, left behind as bait.

In such situations, you don’t need to be the fastest. As long as you’re not the last one, you’ll be safe.

"I suspect that Sea Beast," Alka said, "is the culprit behind the wreckage we saw at sea and the debris on the Island."

Hearing this, Jason and the others couldn’t help but recall the wreckage they had previously seen on the sea surface and the smooth cuts visible on the Island.

"In all these years, has no one been able to eliminate that Sea Beast?" one of them asked.

Everyone just shook their heads in response. The truth was, they hadn’t even seen the Sea Beast’s exact form; they only had a rough idea of its attack methods.

At this point, Alka knocked on the table. "Alright, no need to worry so much. What matters is that we’ve left."

Regardless, it had nothing to do with them anymore. At their current speed, it wouldn’t take long to completely leave this sea area. And that Sea Beast, quite clearly, wouldn’t leave its territory.

As he spoke, several rather dull-looking objects appeared in his hand. Fortunately, they had been cleaned after he stuffed them into his ring earlier. "Let’s talk about something more cheerful," he continued, placing them on the table. "These are the things we recently acquired in the cavern. Let’s divide them."

Hearing Alka’s words, the group’s attention shifted to the items on the table.

Alka had acquired a total of three Magic Items from down there, all still possessing faint Magic Power, indicating they hadn’t deteriorated over time.

At least they aren’t worthless and are still usable.

It might have been due to the protective effect of the oilcloth around the box; otherwise, these Magic Items would have become useless within a century. Or perhaps the Island’s high concentration of Magic Power prevented the Magic Items from degrading over time, even when left exposed.

No one really knew for sure.

The three items were distinct. The first was a conical stone, black-brown with red patterns. Its surface was irregular, as if haphazardly dug from a mine and left unpolished. The second was a dull ring, its engraved crevices still caked with grime that hadn’t been properly cleaned. The final item, outlined in blue, was a piece of equipment resembling a glove combined with a wrist guard. The back of the glove and the wrist guard featured two Crystal Stones of varying sizes, surrounded by metallic components inscribed with Spells. Judging by the glove’s style, it was meant to be worn on the left hand.

Alka first picked up the black-brown conical stone and gave it a simple appraisal. "This should be a Magic Item used to create fire," he explained. "However, time has clearly left its mark on it, and its effect probably isn’t very strong anymore." Thıs text ıs hosted at 𝓷𝓸𝓿𝓮𝓵✶𝓯𝓲𝓻𝓮✶𝓷𝓮𝓽

As Alka spoke, he infused Magic Power into its base. The red patterns on the stone lit up and then converged at the cone’s tip. Flames emerged, but that was all.

Over time, this Treasure had indeed suffered damage. It appeared to be crafted from some kind of Spell Material, with a few Spells inscribed on it. In simple terms, it could barely be considered a Magic Item; it was more like a piece of processed raw material. Therefore, there was almost no point in repairing it, nor did it seem repairable.

Gazing at the stone, Alka turned to the others. "So, anyone interested?"

Evidently, nobody wanted it. Everyone shook their heads in unison.

Juanlu, however, looked at it thoughtfully and then spoke up, "Alka, could you help me make a frame for this stone... hmm, something like an oven?"

Though Juanlu was the last to board, he knew Alka possessed the ability to create Magic Items.

This Crystal Stone was quite small, only about half the size of a head, and the flame it produced was just over ten centimeters high, but that would be enough. It would be excellent as a portable oven or stove.

Alka instantly understood Juanlu’s intention.

He looked at the Crystal Stone in his hand, a plan already forming in his mind. It was a pretty good idea.

Smiling, he said, "No problem. Let’s discuss the design later."

So, the stone now belonged to Juanlu. Of course, it was more for everyone’s collective use, but naturally, any kitchenware would be handled by Juanlu.
