Chapter 17: Chapter 17

"Are you okay?" Elmar's voice echoed through Hunter's speakerphone.

"You're not returning to the dorms tonight?" he asked.

"Yeah, I'm still shooting. I'll be back in the morning. If you feel uneasy about being alone in the dorms, try stopping by Ed or Aland's place.

"Aland wasn't in his room. As for Ed, it looks like he went to a bar with his girlfriend."

You should take Dr Andy's advice. Sorry, Hunters. Because I can't be in the dorms often and keep you company."

"It's okay," said Hunter weakly. "I know you are all busy with your own activities. Maybe I should also find myself busy."

"So you'll take Doctor Andy's advice?" Elmar's voice sounded excited.

"Of course not!" denied Hunter quickly. "I'm fine and have been declared cured. Your presence is enough for me. I don't need to humble myself by going down to the regular dorms and joining the other students," said Hunter arrogantly.

Elmar can be heard giggling into the phone.

"What is so funny?" Hunter grumbled.

"You don't need to make me an excuse to stay in the VIP dorm. You can leave anytime and move to whichever dorm room you want. Did you forget? The school and the school dormitory are yours. While I was only in charge of controlling the residents of the school dormitory. I wasn't really there either. So I don't know what happened."

"Yes, you're right," said Hunter hesitantly. "Why should I feel worried?" his voice rose a little. "This entire school and dormitory are mine. I am free to go anywhere and enter any space as I please," said Hunter.

"Ah, I remember one vacant room in the regular dorm. You may want to try it. The dormitory was abandoned by its occupants a few weeks ago."

"Oh really?" Hunter suddenly looked interested. "What room number?"

After ending the call, Hunter walked off dragging a large suitcase fifteen minutes later. He looked troubled.

"This is only temporary!" said Hunter to himself. "Let's just say I want a new atmosphere and try different things. Yes, it's only temporary. It's like me going on vacation to a summer camp. If later there are students who ask why I moved to the common room? I just have to answer, I just want to have fun. This is my school."

Hunter nodded and was satisfied with the answer he had prepared. Then suddenly, Hunter's steps stopped. He stomped his suitcase.

"Wait! Why should I be busy and bother preparing answers to their curiosity? I have the right not to answer. Why should I feel uneasy about something as trivial as this?"

Hunter straightened up and straightened his crumpled clothes. He puffed out his chest and began to confidently drag his trunk back. He walked down the hall of the dormitory, which was very quiet that night. The students were already asleep by a third of the night.

Hunter was standing in one of the dorm rooms. After checking the number on the door, he nodded confidently. That was the place he was going.

Hunter grabbed the door handle. The door opens easily. "Really unlocked? Elmar seems to have prepared it for me."

He shrugged his shoulders nonchalantly and walked in carrying his large suitcase.

Hunter stood in the middle of the two-story room and was stunned by the state of the room.

"What is this? Did Elmar forget to clean it? The belongings of the previous occupants are still complete here. And it feels so strange," thought Hunter.

He left his briefcase and walked over to the bookshelf that served as a partition. Hunter noticed several potted plants neatly lined up there.

"This is too feminine for a boy's room," he muttered.

Hunter walked over to one of the study tables in the right corner.

"Even he left his laptop and books here? This doesn't make any sense," Hunter grumbled. "This room should be clean of things that don't belong to me!"

Hunter headed to the cupboard. On the wardrobe door was a photograph taped to it with black tape. He was shocked to see his picture was there with some doodles on the face. Hunter quickly pulled out the photo, crumpled it, and tossed it in the trash.

"What is this? Who was the previous occupant of the room? How much does he hate me for putting up my picture like this?"

Hunter put his hands on his hips and looked around the room, which was quite spacious, though smaller than his VIP room. He looked at the second floor. There is a second bed there. Hunter saw a suitcase left behind.

When Hunter was about to contact Elmar and ask for the room to be cleaned, he heard running water from the bathroom. Hunter froze and turned to the slightly ajar bathroom door.

"There are people? This room should be empty! Who is this unwanted intruder?"

Jonea's knees felt weak for a moment. She realized someone was standing in front of the bathroom. Jonea had tried her best to cover herself with a towel. But it still looks strange and ridiculous.

"Who's that?" said Hunter as he pushed open the bathroom door.

Jonea immediately stood up while holding on to the mirror of the bathtub partition to support her body, shaking violently. She poses like a gentleman while keeping a cold and defiant face.

Upon noticing Hunter standing in the bathroom doorway, Jonea's demeanour immediately changed. Her panic and confusion suddenly turned to anger and hatred. She had not expected to see Hunter standing in her room.

It's no different from Hunter. He was so surprised when he realized Miller was in the bathroom. Instantly Hunter smiled sinisterly. He grew fed up and annoyed.

"What are you doing here?!" Hunter shouted at Miller, who was standing in the bathroom.

Stupidly, Jonea answered the question like an innocent person. "Bathe!"

"You think I'm asking because you don't know?" Hunter said curtly. "I asked why you showered in my room?"

"Your room?"

Immediately Jonea was confused and lost her mind. She seems to be at fault here. As soon as she realized it, Jonea was immediately angry.

"How could this be your room? Since I first came, this room has become my dorm room. Aren't you staying in the VIP dorm? Why did you come here? You forgot your way back to your room?"

Jonas was furious. She pointed at Hunter as she approached him. It was to the extent that Jonea forgot that she was only wearing a towel on her wet body.

Jonea's towel fell down as she pointed at Hunter. Jonea quickly pulled the towel and covered herself again.

'Ah, bastard!' Jonea thought. 'Did he see it? Hope he doesn't see it.'

Hunter felt awkward. He was already angry, and there was no way he would return to his words.

"Quickly get out of here! This is my room."

"How can I get out of here?" replied Jonea. "You're the one who has to get out of here. This is my room!"

"Says who?" snapped Hunter.

"This has been my room since I was a student at this school. The division of rooms has been given by the school dormitory management.

"Do you know who the head of the dormitory is?" Hunter grinned triumphantly.

“That… that….” Jonas immediately stiffened. She didn't think that far. She didn't even know who was in charge of the dorm.

"Elmar Delamo!" answered Hunter. "He is the leader of this dormitory. And I just called Elmar. He says this room is given to me. So, you can pack your things and get out of here!"

Jonea was still transfixed in the bathroom with her arms crossed over her chest. She was shivering with cold. Without saying much, Hunter left the bathroom and walked into the bedroom.

Jonea looked up. She wondered what Hunter would do at this time.

The girl quickly closed the bathroom door and breathed a sigh of relief. She thought Hunter was really gone.

"Ah, how should this be? Did I not get caught? Did he notice it?" Jonea stared at her body which was still covered in the towel.

Jonea immediately changed her clothes and came out of the bathroom. The guess is wrong. Hunter has not left his room. The man was sitting on the bottom bunk while making a phone call.

'Shit!' Jonea thought. 'What should I do to get him out of here?'

As soon as he saw Jonea coming out of the bathroom, Hunter immediately ended his call on the phone.

Jonea walked up to Hunter. Before Jonea had even spoken, Hunter had already kicked Jonea's suitcase, which was at her feet. Hunter lowered him from the top bunk.

"Go!"

Jonea paled. "Why do I have to go right now?"

Hunter got up from the bottom bunk. "Wherever it is, you must go right now. I don't care where you're going. I hate sharing a room with other people, let alone you!"

"But, still… How can I leave my room like this?"

As Jonea continued to argue and refused to come out, Hunter grew even more furious. The young man took two steps closer to Jonea and intimidated her. Jonea had to raise her head to look at Hunter.

"Go out!"

Jonea looked Hunter straight in the eye. She acted as if she was brave and strong. But actually, inside, Jonea was very scared and trembling.

"Really you… I'm not leaving here! From the start, this was my room. You're the one who should leave here. Your place in the VIP dormitory!" Jonea puffed out her chest and challenged Hunter.

Hunter hissed. "You will regret your words!" threatened Hunter.
