Chapter 6: Chapter 6
Once in a while Leo looked at alana reading the magazine in her hand, wrong instead of reading it, but Leo felt alana was just looking at it, okay? It was wrong and more accurately alana was daydreaming, Leo knew it. Leo now rightly squints his eyes as he watches his wife nearby.
What's up with her?
Alana rarely bothers him when he is alone in the same room, but at least he does not dwell on vague talk. Maybe since his return this afternoon, Leo had no idea where alana was going and came home with a frown and Leo didn't care. But this time his pensions were a bit annoying, Leo was afraid his neighbor's chickens might accidentally die because of alana's daydreaming.
"Did she eat something wrong?" Leo murmured slowly while watching alana.
"Please bring me the book from the cabinet there. "Said Leo, who once again looked at the book in his hand, making alana turn back with a broad smile but never moved from the chair he was in, finally raising his head and watching alana putting on her happy face.
"Why?" Leo asked
"Did you just ask me for a favor?" he asked with a swelling smile and Leo squeaks about as if he chose the wrong words.
"Forget it, I'll call the waitress." Leo said, about to turn his wheelchair around, but paused because alana stood from her seat of comfort and walked over to the shelf where Leo's books are stored, picked up the one Leo had been talking about and walked over to him. Alana placed the book on the table as well as herself, meaning it Shared a large table that blocked their distance.
"I was glad that you were starting to want my help." alana said in a tone she made sorrowful. But Leo ignored her and picked up the book alana had placed for a moment of silence once again enveloped them, making Leo look back at alana, who was also looking at him the whole time.
"Don't you have anything else to do?"
"No, can you give me a job? "Asked alana
"You can call pedro and ask him for a job" Leo answered without taking his eyes off the book, while alana rolled her lazy eyes.
"I don't need a job from your secretary. I want a job from you. "Alana's whimpering then comes down off the table and turns over to Leo, Leo who sees alana's immediate movements on his back because this woman nearby is sometimes wilful there are certain hours, and Leo does feel alana's hand squeezing his soft shoulder.
"What are you doing?" asked Leo as he pushed alana's hand
"At least I can give you a massage," alana answered
"I don't need a massage from you, so get out of the way and get back where you belong. "Leo blurted cold
"Well, I won't impose, I'm sure you'll miss my touch one day." alana said Leo with a sigh of relief because alana didn't argue and argue first. But of course it would be alana not to give Leo a sudden heart attack.
Alana kissed Leo's neck and played with his tongue for a while before going away and Leo managed to tense and stop breathing for a moment before coming back to her senses and seeing the woman in her chair again. Leo rubbed his face raw and glared at alana.
But for a moment Leo could see alana's re-pensive expression, unlike her usual self, yes just a little less of herself and less of a headache because of her arguing, all the questions Leo had in mind were finally answered when alana came back.
"Can I ask you something?" he asked her in a serious tone, Leo glancing at alana before looking back at the book.
"No." Leo answered
"Who is yora? "Asked alana, who Leo believed that the woman in front of him did not understand the meaning of the word no, Leo's movements stopped as he tried to turn the page of his book on his alana's name, why a savage woman in front of him knew about yora.
Ck certainly thanks to his beloved stepmother, who else could it be.
"Why do you ask?"
"Just out of curiosity"
"You don't need to know"
"Does he manta your boyfriend?"
"No." silly question what Leo thought
"Your girlfriend?"
"Not" what this is
"Your first love?"
silence
Leo didn't answer and just looked at an empty book in front of him.
"Oh, that's what I've been feeling since I've been here." alana murmured, nodding her head in a sign of understanding and making Leo stare at her as if to ask what you mean?
"When did you last see each other?" alana asked alana, but Leo remained silent, remembering how long he had not heard from yora.
One year
Two years
Or more, Leo knew not and never counted, Leo feared that if he counted, Leo feared that time would increase even though it was indisputable.
"I guess you haven't seen him in a long time. "Alana answered her own questions again.
"But if she comes to you next time, introduce me as your wife in front of her!" his request made Leo squint at alana as if he wanted to read what she meant.
"We would never have met." Leo said, trying as flat as he could.
"I was just wondering if you guys might meet on the way."
That makes it hard to think of Leo.
As long as his legs were up, Leo spent most of his time at home even though he occasionally went to an important meeting at the office, but to meet yora on the street as the passing was impossible.
"So if you would like to introduce me as your wife," alana said again.
"Of course." Leo replied because Leo believed that if yora knew news of his married self maybe even other news about him, well consider Leo's confidence high but Leo believes that yora still CARES about him.
"Ah but somehow my feelings are still raw. "She murmured with alana leaning over her back as if she were genuinely worried.
It's what Leo's inner concern is, it's what Leo thinks it is.
"What kind of woman is yora?"
Out of curiosity, Leo took his book down and began to look more intently at alana
"Why do you look so curious at people you've never even met?"
"Because he's my husband's first love? How can I not be curious. "Alana's answers made Leo smile lightly.
"I never told yora my first love"
"I know you don't have to answer"
"So what if he's my first love, I've never bothered or been curious about your first love either"
"Of course you mustn't wonder because my first love is my husband."
