Chapter 4: Chapter 4

Alana continues to water her food in front of her and occasionally turning her head, waiting for him for more than ten minutes, but his husband stayed in his study at all times, of course, with pedro's faithful servant.

"My stomach won't stop ringing." alana annoyed.

But alana saw Leo later out with pedro, pushing his wheelchair toward alana's dining table. Pedro puts Leo right next to alana and that makes Leo turn furiously at pedro, who realizes his mistake of repulling Leo's wheelchair, but alana first stops him.

"It's better that you're here, so I'll make it easier for you. "Alana blurted over Leo's side of the wheelchair.

"I don't need your help, pedro will ___"

"Secretary pedro, you certainly haven't had lunch either, so sit with us." alana blurted out with a menacing look in her eyes and pedro knew what that meant, it was a sign alana was actually sending him off in a subtle way.

"Ems, no thanks, ma 'am, I'm more comfortable having lunch by myself." replied pedro and Leo, once again, glaring at him.

"You better sit down pedro, I don't want to die alone here." Leo said, making alana wiggle her lips, know what she was saying, and pedro didn't want to argue any more, to have it sit with them.

"Ck I can't kill you this quickly." alana pissed him and Leo into his eyes because of his bold remarks.

"So you really want to kill me?" Leo asked alana to raise her shoulder disrespectfully.

"Ain't that on your mind like that, I ain't gonna kill you till I get mine."

"Your rights?" Leo said he didn't understand.

"Yes, it's my right, we've been married a week, but you haven't touched me at all.

"Alana answered with an expression made sorrowful and it made pedro who listened to her almost choked on his own saliva. Leo was right, it turns out alana was more savage than they first thought.

"Don't expect me to touch you." Leo's anger angered alana.

"It's okay, I'll wait, I'm a pretty patient guy."

Alana, who wanted to share a meal with her husband, was a little upset with Leo's decision, but anyway she would have taken pedro as if he were not there. Alana started scoop some rice for Leo and some side dishes.

But after that.

"It's not poisoned, is it? "Asked Leo again as he tried to scoop food into his mouth and it made alana turn to him and reach for Leo's hand as it raised a spoon and point it at his mouth.

"You saw me eating it myself, so it was definitely safe." alana said with her mouth full of food making her adorable and unconsciously pulling at the corners of his lips as thin as he could, yes.

"Do you want me to try your drink first."Alana renewed Leo to shift his drink straight away from alana.

"No, I don't want to drink from your lips."

"Come on, husband, I've even kissed your sweet lips, haven't you?"

"Enough." Cut off Leo and turn to pedro, Leo's convinced that his secretary is holding back his laughter at this very moment.

"Pedro I think you can have lunch at the office, you have a lot of work ahead of you." Leo said, making pedro get on his feet.

"Excuse me, my Lord. "Pedro said, bowing down to Leo and alana after leav ing away.

Pedro knew what Leo meant by throwing him out suddenly, Leo just didn't want the woman next to him to keep saying silly things in front of him and embarrassing him.

"So what are we doing today?" alana said as they finished their lunch.

"You can do whatever you want, but don't bother me today. "Leo answered, turning his own wheelchair, but alana in her stubbornness interrupted him.

"How about you read a book in the back garden? I'll accompany you."

"No."

"All right, we'll go there." alana blurted out Leo's refusal.

"Don't you understand the meaning of no"

"You're welcome."

"Hey crazy lady, stop pushing me."

"No way."

"You're looking dead?" Leo's upset because alana really didn't listen and kept pushing Leo and taking him to the back garden, and it didn't take them long to get to a big enough and cool back park despite the clear skies, but some big trees made the park cool. Alana put Leo right next to a park bench under the tree, then herself sitting in a chair near Leo.

"Stop shutting yourself up in your boring workspace, and once you get some fresh air around the house, it is good for your health. "Alana said because during her stay with Leo, alana was suffocating when he entered his study, where he would be more than five hours, if not all day, alana would want to drag him and occasionally take him around the mall, yes, but that would be too shocking for him, alana would drag him slowly, as she did in the backyard.

"Stop bossing me around."

"I'm not working you out, I just want to be here with you because I'm bored, so go ahead and read it and I'll leave you alone, I'll just take a nice, cozy nap here." Said alana then completely put herself down on the chair and shut her eyes. Leo could clearly see alana's sleeping face.

Leo watched every inch of alana's face covered in thin makeup, sometimes Leo wondered why he would ever accept alana's hand in marriage to her, when Leo knew alana was rose's stepmother's accomplice, not without Leo's hating rose, ever since the coming of her family, Rose was present in his family as his father's second wife, after learning that his mother became sickly and eventually died.

The Leo who was then sitting in school was not so suspicious of rose, but rose never did anything out of the way, even rose took good care of Leo and his father, but when Leo entered college, his father suddenly became ill and finally died, and Leo was convinced that all of this was the intervention of rose, her stepmother, Leo did not want her to govern herself freely and make her a living doll.

But Leo is not so evil as to abandon rose, Leo continues to provide for rose to this day, and because of the memory of his dear father and stepmother, Leo does not want to be blamed for abandoning rose by his father in the afterlife.

Leo's daydreams come to a halt as the wind blows against the tree above the tree leaves beautifully, some of them falling on his lap and clinging to alana Leo's long hairs to pick up one leaf ata time, but his hands stop right next to alana's cheek, there is a powerful sense in him to gently stroke alana's cheek, but before he actually does, Leo pulled his hand back but an arm stopped him, yes, of course.

Alana held her  eyes shut while alana held Leo's palm next to her cheek.

"I know you want to stroke my cheek, just do it, I'll pretend to be asleep." alana said and then pressed Leo's palm against his cheek and somehow felt Leo's thumb slowly moving and stroking his cheek gently.
