Chapter 19: Chapter 19

"Did I interrupt your conversation?"  yora asked still standing in the doorway, watching Alana and also Leo in Leo's living room, while alana looked at him with disapproving glances, how could not she get so easily into Leo's study while Alana herself was on her hands in the office lobby

"What brings you to my husband's office? " Alana asked Alana with the emphasis on the husband in her sentence, but before yora answered Alana's question, Leo interrupted her, making Alana instantly turn back to look in her direction.

"I called yora to come see me" said Leo sontak, making Alana stare at him with a disdain for what Leo said, Yora immediately closed the door and continued her steps to meet him, who sat in front of him while alana was still frozen in her former spot, Alana began to see a yora move that now gave Leo a brown envelope.

"Why do you want to work here? "Asked Leo, making Alana open her eyes

"So he's going to work here? "Alana began to walk toward Leo.

"Just think of it as an opportunity because getting a job right now is so hard, I have to use my social people to get a job instead of." Yora blurted by a chuckle at the end of a sentence that Leo used to stare at, as if alana was ignoring them in spite of it

"Leo, are you ignoring me? "Alana asked in her exasperated tone.

"You can wait for me on the couch, I'm interviu my new candidate" said Leo in his casual voice, but inevitably followed Leo's words, not wanting to be kicked out a second time, let alone in front of Yora, Alana didn't want to have him humiliated again in front of another woman.

Alana then grabbed her phone while back in her seat, ignoring two people who were now hooking up, but Alana would occasionally sharpen her ears when they started talking about their childhood as well as things she felt were beyond the interviu discussions between a superior and a new employer

"What is all that?" Alana's text now typing out a message to rose, of course to report that yora was on the move even to the moment when she was already wanting to rush into Leo's company, alana wanted to know rose's opinion of the news she was going to share, Alana was patience with her cell phone now in her hands, waiting for the conversation of two people who were about to end, making her feel even more upset by her being completely ignored.

"How long will your interviu last?" Alana made Leo and also Yora stare at her.

"If you're bored you can go home first, I won't send Alana to the office, and I won't be able to make her feel less entitled, even though alana wanted to surprise Leo at first, but instead, Alana was surprised by his having a good day at the office, rather than imagine how close she was to having him, let alone now.

"I was patient enough to wait for my husband to finish his interviu with his new employees, so relax," Alana said, then turning around, began to get bored of staying indoors and just listening to their conversation, so she took the initiative to take a walk in Leo's company.

"Can I go take a look at your office?" Alana made Leo just nodded his head without answering Alana's question, because she was listening to Alana's explanation, rather than continuously exasperating Alana straight out of Leo's office and began walking down the company's floor, ignoring the inquiring gaze of some of the people staring at her, but her pace stopped when she saw someone who was so familiar, As alana's approach might also slow her down as she watched Alana walk closer.

"Aska? "Alana tried to guess the man in front of her who was now also staring back at her.

"It's alana, isn't it?" Asking the man made Alana widen her smile.

"How are you, man? What are you doing here?" Alana asked him, who now began to shake aska's hand as if he had been a friend for a long time.

"I'm good and of course I'm working for the company" aska replied making Alana open her eyes.

"No wonder you disappeared right after college, but you're working for a big company like this" Alana made aska laugh.

"You know it's not a man's job to have a secure life for the future" was obvious Alana made him nod his head.

"Yes, of course, unlike me who was too lazy to work at the time," Alana answered, making them both giggle.

"And what are you doing here? "Aska asked alana simply speechless.

"I'm just looking through the office" Alana responded casually frowning Aska's mind, the history of this answer is not something to be comfortable with because it's not a random tourist pastime to just look around.

"Did you apply for a job here?" Tanya Aska again made alana shake her head instantly.

"If I had applied in this office, the owner of this company would have just shot me down." Alana answered with her irate face, still imagining how easily yora had applied for a job at this company, while she had to struggle a little to revive Leo's dead mom's bakery, although she was of her own free will. but Alana felt a little sorry because she didn't think in the first place. Instead of having to take care of that broken-down bakery.

"And then?" Tanya Aska made Alana come back to her senses.

"No, I've just met someone in this office" Alana answered, making aska finally nod her head.

"By the way do you live in this area too? "Alana asked Alana, making Aska nod instantly.

"Yes, I already have a decent house to live in on my own, in an area not far from the office" was Alana's evidently nodding her head with sparkling eyes.

"You've really been a successful man," Alana complimented aska with a smile on her lips, once in a while, Alana had admired a famous aska who was polite and also diligent in her own home, especially when she was in school but after college suddenly she was told she was going out of town and looking for a job, and then later on she didn't meet them and then destiny got them back together.

"You totally startled me, which is why you're never going back to where you came from if you're already in town." Alana grunts.

"Besides there's no one I should visit there instead of" Aska replied with her happy face made Alana instantly feel guilty.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to"

"No, forget that, and better yet give me your phone number so we can connect with it." cut aska, make Alana change her expression and give her her cell number to aska, Alana feels a little bad because talking about her family, because Aska has no one back home, Since both his parents and his older sister died in the car accident they had and left alone with Aska, it makes Alana a little concerned about Aska's past life, but not now after seeing Aska's successful career in her new home.

"I'll call you and maybe ask you to join me for dinner right away" he said, making Alana smile shyly, but just as alana was about to answer Aska's words a baritone voice which was so Alana recognized through her back

"I thought you were home," Leo said

it made Alana and also Aska look at Leo, who was now looking at them with a straight but intimidating look.
