Alana slowly opened her eyes and first felt her back in pain, plus her throbbing head made her cringe, but in raising her hand, alana immediately turned her gaze to the side where her hand was still clasped tight by someone who was now fast asleep beside her.

Alana then tilted her face to see how Leo with his tired face slept so peacefully next to him, without letting go of his grasp, making alana draw the corner of his lips, alana felt relieved to find out that her husband was all right, so she reached out and stroked Leo's temple affectionately, causing him to open his eyes wide and lift his body to see alana open them.

"How are you? Is there anything painful? "Asked Leo in a worried tone made alana shake her head.

"I'm fine, just a little pain in my back" alana replied that Leo immediately straightened himself up.

"Wait a minute, then I'll call the doctor," said Leo, but alana grabbed him by the arm.

"Don't call a doctor, maybe it's just the effects of my tranquilizer wearing off, I'm sure it'll be okay," said alana made Leo finally come back to sit next to him, then put his hand out and stroke his pale, cold face.

"Would you please not make me feel so frightened all the time, and this is the number of times you've played with your own life?" said Leo, he made alana speechless and he even gave his life for her husband as long as Leo was okay.

"I just don't want you to get hurt" alana replied that Leo's jaw hardened for only a few seconds, but afterwards Leo rubbed his face violently.

"Do you think I'd love to see you lying helpless like this, and this is not the first time you've done something like this just to save me?" Leo blurted back in his repressed voice, alana believed Leo was holding back his emotions, but alana still doesn't regret what he did.

"Then what should I do? "Alana asked alana as she tugged in Leo's palm and grasped him firmly.

"Do I have to watch that bastard hurt my husband, it makes me feel pain, too" alana answered Leo, closing his eyes only, Leo totally disagreed with his wife's thoughts.

"You didn't have to do anything like this, I could have handled that bastard with my own hands and instead of you sacrificing the return of your life." Leo said, shaking alana's head.

"If I don't confront him, he'll actually stab you here" he blurted while touching Leo's chest where his heart is.

"Do you know if this no longer ticks, do you believe I will too" alana said.

"That, in spite of what I think, I feel the same way, what if something bad happens to you, do you think I'll be okay?" Leo said, condemning alana, convinced that Leo would do the same, with some pissed off look on his face and some anger that comes only to describe her warm smile.

"That's the power of love between us, aren't we ready to sacrifice each other's lives for just one another" alana said, making Leo finally re-normalize his face.

"Yes, you're right, I would sacrifice anything to see you happy and our future baby," said Leo, now gently rubbing alana's stomach.

"But from now on, promise me never to come back to a room like this," Leo said, making alana giggle.

"Why are you laughing? What I'm saying sounds funny.

"And what if I give birth later, I can't give birth at the hospital? "Asking alana lulled Leo into silence as if Leo had forgotten about it.

"Well, unless it is, you know what I mean, no, I don't want to see you get hurt and lie back here, different if it's about our baby, but whatever happens, I'll always be there with you, I'll never leave you." Leo answered Made alana nod her head

"Yes, I believe you." alana then put her hand around Leo's face gently.

"You must be so tired, just look at this handsome face already has dark circles under his eyes, so you're like a handsome panda without sleep" instead of letting Leo grasp alana's palms on his face.

"How can I fall asleep when you're still unconscious" Leo replied, making alana draw the corner of her lips.

"You're really worried about me?"

"More than anxiety, I'll feel the claustrophobia like air I can't breathe anymore when I see you lying helpless like this and I'm very angry about it" Leo replied.

"You're mad at me? "Alana asked.

"Of course I'm angry, how can I just casually respond to your dangerous behavior like this, but I will not tolerate it in your actions," Leo said, making alana chide her lips.

"So you'll punish me?" Asked alana

"Of course"  Leo answers

"But I did it to save you, is there no dispensation for that reason,?" Alana made Leo shake his head.

"There's no excuse I can take, if I'm just playing with your life," Leo said, "make alana throw her face in the other direction, then pull out her hand and pull back alana's chin so she'll talk back

"If you do, you're really going to make me suffer for the rest of my life, can you imagine how devastated my life would be if you were truly in the worst of my thoughts?" Leo said, making alana totally return to her gaze full of fear, as if what Leo was saying really bothers her.

"I'm sorry" alana blurted while continuing not to take her eyes out of Leo's eyes made those eyes turn into warm ones.

"If you're saying sorry, then I should say thank you," Leo said.

"Thank you, for coming back to rescue me and thank you for holding back to return to me" Leo continued after which he looked down a little bit to kiss his wife's forehead so affectionately, and alana just closed her eyes to receive the outpouring of affection her husband gave her, alana really felt fortunate that Leo was present in his life filling every gap in his empty heart that was now completely filled with his own being.
