Chapter 39: Chapter 39

Christian POV:-

After leaving Aunt's place. I went to Tyler. I am beyond angry, how could he tell her? He is the only one who knows about it. Why did he tell Aunt about it in the first place? I have told him that me and Sophie are on good terms now then why? I cannot fathom. I grit my teeth in irk, my fury burning inside me, I can’t leave Sophie. Aunt can't take Sophie away from me. I need her presence. I need her smile. I need her. I don't know what I am feeling for her but she is mine and no one can take her away from me.

I barged in his house as he was shocked to see me. I grabbed his collar and looked at him furiously, "Why the hell you told aunt about that day!?"

"Hey.. what are you talking about?" He asked, confused.

"Only you knew about the night at the party, why in the bloody hell you told Aunt Skye about it?!" I hissed.

"Let go, man! I didn't tell anyone anything." He said pushing me away.

"Then how did she come to know about it?" I said, pulling my hair in frustration, distress by the fact she is not here with me.

"Calm down and then tell me what happened." He said as I took some deep breaths to put my vexation at serene and began to say,

"Aunt knew what I did and took Sophie away from me.." I said.

"Well.. don't mind but you kinda deserve it."

"She forgave me! She also didn't want her to take her away." I defended myself.

"She- what? It's unbelievable. A hotheaded girl like her has actually forgiven you!?" He said in disbelief.

"Yeah. After talking to you I realized that I was wrong and I apologized. I promised that I'll never hurt her. It took me quite a lot of time but now we are on a friendship level.

Everything was going so soothingly. We talked, we laughed, we felt so close to each other. For a moment, I felt attracted.. connected to her. Like my whole being is made for her. She lit up my dark world. She filled my silent home with the sound of laughter. She.. became my salvation.. I don't want her to go away." I confessed what I have been feeling for quite a while. Tyler looked at me with wide eyes as I smiled remembering our recent race.

"You know.. before coming here we had a race. She won, I didn't know she was that fast." I smiled looking at the ground.

"Dude, Are you okay? Are you sure you are not falling for her?" He asked tentatively.

"I.. don't know.." I replied honestly.

"AMAZING! CHRISTIAN IS FINALLY IN LOVE! IT'S TIME FOR A PARTY!" He cheered in joy as I looked at him with a frown.

"There's nothing to party about."

"Oh, lover boy, I know she can make you feel loved again." He was too happy as I kept looking at him devoid.

"Finally Sophie Skye and Christian Elvis are together. Aunt Eleanor would be exhilarated when she came to know about it. Even I was waiting for it, when your age gap wouldn’t be a problem and you guys will be an actual couple."

“Are you still stuck on the night when you first saw her?” I asked. “Of course Dude! She was so young- a child and you were an adult! Anyways, Now I am at peace to see you with her.”

“At least your couple doesn’t make you a paedophile anymore.” He joke, pissing me off.

"Finally you understand that you are made for your soulmate." He kept on rambling as I sighed,

"I said, I don't know. Maybe I don't love her." I said but even my heart is not convinced by my words.

"You are just denying it! Don't worry, soon you're gonna come to me saying, I AM IN LOVE!" He said hopelessly. Just how much of an over-dramatic guy is he? But, he is like this only with me or else he is no less than a devil; his work requires it. I exhaled and said,

"We'll talk about it later, help me bring her back." I said as he snapped from his thoughts. "Right, how can we have a party when the main guest would be absent." He said putting his index finger on his chin.

"Damn it man! You care about the party!?" I said exasperated. He laughed, he was not in the mood to take anything serious, "No, let's have a seat and talk." He smiled as we sat down and I told him, “Aunt said to accept her as my wife and love her. I will ha[[ily accept her as my wife… the problem is the ‘loving’ part." I said.

"Hmm. It's easy. Confess your love in front of everyone." He suggested the obvious.

"As if I don't know that. I can't do it. Sophie doesn't love me and maybe I do too. I have to do something that can convince Aunt." I said.

"Don't say this. I think she loves you." He said. I let out an empty laugh upon hearing this. "I don't think so.." I said looking away.

"You sure you don't want to love her?" He asked, eyeing me intensely.

"I don't." I spoke firmly but he leaned in a little,

"Really?" He asked me, giving me a mischievous look.

"Yeah..." I said looking away, trying to deny what he is trying to force out.

"Confirmed?"

"Hmm." And he knew how to force answers out of one’s mouth.

"Hmmmm?"

"Okay, I do!" I confessed and he began to cheer.

"The party is near!" He shouted.

"Shut up!" I glared but he continued to cheer in blithe. After a few moments, he calmed down and asked,

"By the way, If I didn't tell her, then who did? I haven’t met Aunt Amelia in a while." I shrugged and he nodded as a silence fell upon us but- "I did." Another voice joined the conversation as we both turned our heads only to see Merlin standing there. A rage took over me when I saw her.

"Oh my, What timing! I knew you would be here." She smiled sweetly but I know that cheater woman is anything but sweet.

"Why did you do it?" I asked nonchalantly.

"Who the hell told you to enter my house?" Hissed Tyler.

"How rude.." she said, showing fake sadness.

"But don't worry I am here to tell you that I saw mother Amelia and thought maybe I should tell her how her beloved Christian treated my sister."

"Don't you dare to call her your sister." I growled standing up. She let out a chuckle and sneered,

"Well, She is my younger sister."

"She is nothing to you. Tell me why are you here?" I demanded.

"I never want to leave you. You pushed me out of your life. If I can't be in your life, then no one will." She snarled as I looked down at her in disgust,

"You are so low. Do you think I will accept you after watching you in my bed with some other guy?" I hissed glaring at her.

"Everyone deserves a second chance which you never gave me." She said angrily yet sadly.

"I don't even want to and I am happy to have Sophie as my wife." I said proudly and she stomp on her feet and I decided to fuel her rage,

"You know Merlin, Sophie is far better than you in every aspect. That look of innocence. That shiver whenever I touch her pure body. Those marks of mine which cause her to blush every time she looks at them. That bliss feeling when she glistened with sweat in my arms. The intoxicating scent of her and not just that..

When she cooks for me. When she greeted me. When she smiled at me. When She tried to cheer me up. That look of happiness when I gave her ice-cream. That sweetness of hers can never be compared with anything.

And last but not least, the taste of her lips. That heavenly feeling when she looks at me with her captivating hazel eyes and pleads with me to make her feel loved and in that moment when the feeling of touching her lips is inexplicable. How our lips moved in sync. Sparks travel through me whenever we touch.

She gave me that ultimate holy gratification no woman ever did. Not even you. You are not even near her. She is the only one. Made for me. She was mine, she belongs to me and I am so lucky to be destined with her." I finished and it feels like it is not even enough to explain to her. Tears brimmed in the corner of her eyes as she turned to leave but I continued, “And the best part of our relationship is we are connected. Juliette may have fooled me to trick and marry Sophie by using intimation but I put it on the right track because you know why? Even if there’s no love between us, we are spiritually connected. We were fated. It was written on the skies that she is mine and I am hers. And now we are together, no one in this universe can pull us apart.” I took a step back, smirking triumphantly at her. My chest boasted with pride when I spoke the truth. Her lips began to quiver. She threw her hairs behind her shoulder and held her head high to show she will become an obstacle to our path so I decided to give her a small warning before she leaves.

"And Before you go remember one thing."
