CHAPTER 4

**AARON**

It took me two months and some more days to be ready to ask Pearl out. This girl was really warming up the frozen damaged heart. Other times I chickened out but today I sure was ready. She showed me love to the fullest.

"Hey nigga" Tony spoke in slang for tha first time.

"Brotherly what's with those big bags?" I asked helping him with some huge bags he was struggling with.

Tony was smartly dressed up. His flowing hair was packed up and he really looked handsome.

"Told you I was gonna be transferred today remember. To the college of technology Arkansas" he announced.

"Geez I totally forgot bro" i pleaded.

"Guess you was too busy about Pearl" Tony replied.

Yeah he is right. For the last two months i have been sunken in deep thought about Pearl. She took over my dreams, my head everything. Relationship experts like Jefferson gave me some quality advice.

"I'm sorry dawg. Go get your crush. At least you get to date your crush" he frowned.

"You looking smart. How about you go talk to jacinta?" I teased.

"Aaron, quick confession I'm gay and my actual crush was Derick" he looked away.

"Bro and you didn't tell him?" I asked.

"Bro if you tell him I'm gonn slith your throat" Tony threatened jokingly.

A car horn beeped at us, Tony's parents ready to pick up their boy.

"I'm gonna miss you nigga" I hugged Tony.

He has always been my right hand man. My bestie but life didn't want us to be together.

"Me too, good bye" he walked towards the car and came back.

"Forgetting something?" I asked.

"Take this, keep it" He gave me the micro chip.

"Thanks dawg"

"Good luck with Pearl. Tell the boys I'm gone" he hopped into the land cruiser Prado and they drove off.

SUNDAY 12PM

This day was the D-Day. I couldn't concentrate in church. I was filled with anxiety from the beginning till when the priest said bow your heads and pray.

"Aaron call her, tell that you wanna take her out and hear her response" Jefferson advised.

I dialed her number in my phone and gave her a call. The phone kept ringing but She didn't pick up. A few minutes later She called back

"Hello Pearl, it's Aaron was wondering if you are free today so we can go out" I said.

"Ok, Tina's pizza She is my friend by 1 i will wait for you there.

The phone went off and we all celebrated happily as though we just won the world championship or a cold war.

I selected my best out fit and sprayed a ton of perfume I have never looked this smart since this year.

I booked a cab down to the place. I crossed the security doors and surveyed the whole area with my eyes. This was a place where rich couples would come for relaxation. I scanned throughout till my eyes rested on her.

Pearl was on a pink dress with white sunglass She waved at me and I proceeded to join her on her double table.

"Hi, thanks for coming" i said to her.

"It's nothing by the way I could use an outing like this everyday if possible" She replied.

We discussed on some random stuf then suggested we go to the balcony upstairs. It was as though the mood was set. Cool music filled the air as we walked towards the cases. She stood looking straight into the streets.

"I love this view" She said.

I knelt down with some ring I got from my dad when he travelled to Africa last year. I have watched so many proposal tutorials on YouTube and Netflix so i acted expertly.

"If you like the view at your front what would you say about the one at your back" as planned She turned back

Pearl looked suprised. She avoided eye contact and rolled her eyes severally.

"Pearl, would you be my girlfriend?" I asked still kneeling.

She hesitated. She was so happy or so I thought.

"Yes...yes I will be your girlfriend" She accepted.

The joy in my heart could be compared to joy in heaven . I felt like a king. From that day on wards we became so close to each other. We dated for almost a two to three months and still counting.

Her dad became more nice. I was a regular visitor to the house. Today we was home alone and She was plaiting my hair to corn rows

"I'm bored" She cried.

"What do you wanna do?" I asked her.

"Follow me" She walked in the hall way up the stairs and then to her bedroom.

Her bedroom was a bit coozy. It got a private temperature control. Pink curtains a TV and many stuffs.

"Why bed room?" I asked fully knowing was about to go down.

She went on her knees and unzipped my pants grabbing hold of her best toy. She made circles around it with her tongue. Took there first 3 inches and went slow when She too the remaining four inches I was in heaven. Her head game was fire.

Continuous movement till I got nutted into her throat. She pulled out and let them fall on her face.

"That was awesome" i breathed heavily.

"Time to repay the favour " She laid back and free up her body. We literally switched position.

Her head game was good but not compared to Becky's. Becky could blow you for 5 hours straight and even when you are tensed She would still continue non stop.

"Fuck me" She cried with pleasure.

I focused my attention on the pinky dot.

"I want you inside me right now* She commanded.

I worked up her thing for gradually increasing the pace Everytime.

We both rose up to a climax to and I passed out.

MONDAY MORNING

The cold treated me badly this morning, the flakes were ten time icy than the last. Everyone wore fancy hoodies and sweat shirts. One thing about winter, all girls are equal. No thick ass or shape exposed everything under some lame jogger pants. I woke up that morning last night memories still fresh in my head. I turned and cuddled with Pearl

"Hello babe, how was your night?" Pearls voice pitched.

"It was good" I kissed her cheeks"

"Hope you slept well?"

"Yeah I did" I replied.

"Alright have to go get your breakfast. I love you" She walked to the wardrobe naked.

Her ass was firm but soft. Moderately small but will got the giggles. I lay down and kept staring at God's creation. I still couldn't believe that o have been dating the most classic girl in the whole school even scoring an extra point seeing her naked.

"I love you more" I replied siting up the bed sliding up a pair of Calvin Klein underwear.

Days passed, turned into week, into months and our love grew. Or I thought it grew. Night parties, clubbing, rough sex, girlfriend boyfriend stuff and all that. I missed have this feeling. Our love story spread round campus and we were even tagged couple of the year.

LANGUAGE CLASS

Language was one of my best course. I could score a hundred percent or even more. I knew how to speak four language. Portuguese my home language, English, French and hausa language which I learnt on my visit to Nigeria five years ago.

After classes, students flocked out the hall all doing different activities. Exams was fast approaching and everyone aimed for the library. I felt a soft touch on my shoulders

"Becky hi" I greeted.

"I'm fine, you haven't checked up on me for ages so j decided to see what you up to" She said hugging me.

"Chill" I broke off the hug.

"There is something I gotta show you"

Becky dragged me into the bush paths and we traveled for For ten minutes before arriving at the water fall which was iced solid iced.

"My favorite place" She announced.

"Ohh it's nice babe" I replied.

She held my hands and looked up into my eyes.

"Aaron if you get over whatever you are going through is there still any chance that we gonn date again" She looked sad.

"Yes babe, it's you I love" I lied knowing fully well that I got a girlfriend for the past three months but I was still playing her. Not play I still love her. We got random shags some persons may say I'm cheating on my girl.

She went in for a yummy kiss stretching her legs up inorder to gain height. The kiss lasted longer than expected.

Becky was a good kisser, her head game on point and all but still a virgin. Call her a dirty virgin. The kiss lasted for long until an interruption.

I froze, Becky broke up the kiss and arranged herself.

"Babe it's not what you think, She seduced me into this" I lied.

"Who is She?!" They both asked at once.

I became genuinely confused. I was at a dramatic cross road. Anyone I pick over the other now would be the one.

"Pearl meet Becky my friend, Becky this is Pearl my girlfriend" I said.

"You got a girlfriend?" Becky cried.

"So you are cheating on me?" Pearl cried.

Becky left the place crying almost loudly but definitely bitterly. I knelt down to Pearl.

"Baby please forgive me" I held her legs.

"You know I have been defending you ever since. My friend at home would tell me you are not to be trusted but I didn't believe her" She broke down into fresh tears.

"Babe it will never happen again" but She paid deaf ear.

I used two full weeks to apologise to pearl and She finally forgave me. We got back to ourselves and I loved her even more caring less about Becky's feelings.

DECEMBER 1ST

My phone vibrated. It was a new voice message from Pearl.

"Hey Aaron, it's over between us. You are just a cheap fuck boy". She blasted.

"Bae chill please I'm not a fuck boy. You are the only one I have been with"

"Get out of my life" She ended the call.

That was it the person that made me feel loved was gone. I was traumatized just few day to my exams. No phone calls from her She literally blocked my number, blocked me on Whatsapp.

I even went as far as going to her hostel but I got humiliated. This was worse than a typical heartbreak.

I stayed off anything that looks like a woman. Just maybe I could get myself back within 6 hours to my exams. I didn't prepare stall for this upcoming exam my mind was far and thick at that point.

DECEMBER 2ND MONDAY EXAM MORNING.

I picked up my bags headed for my exam centre. Couldn't think straight as I was almost hit by every car in school and I cared less. Pearl held a large percentage of my heart and now She is gone. I couldn't think straight.

During the exams I put in all my efforts and after the paper but my efforts divided still to pearl. She just wrote in silence till the end of the exam. i tried to talk to her but She snubbed.

I walked towards the garage to go join Jefferson in his brand-new Mercedes.

"Hey bro, check out it's your ex" Jefferson said smiling.

"Bro I'm done with Pearl" I replied tired.

"No silly, it's Becky"

Becky walked passed with some white guy and I ran after her with the intentions of pleading with her.

"Look Becky I'm sorry for treating you that way" I begged.

"Ok" She replied coldly.

"Can we be friends again?" I asked

"Sure."

"I love you" I held her hands

"Right"

"Becky I'm serious" I cried.

Becky could go psycho sometimes. But her annoyance is nothing compared to when She is cold. Call her Atlanta iced lake when She is cold

"Becky who the fuck it this guy?" The white guy asked obviously angry.

"Aaron meet Jeremy my boyfriend. Jeremy meet Aaron my ex boyfriend" Becky introduced.

"What the fuck!" I yelled.

"You got a problem with that dude, you better not fuck with me" the guy pounced on me.

"Chill out guys, jeremy let's go!" She pulled the dude away.

I never felt this heart broken before.i lost two ladies at once. People I truly loved at once

I just retrieved back to the car and Jefferson drove in silence.

I wanted Becky back I don't care what happens. Call me toxic fine! I I'm toxic. I love differently, toxic love.

LAST DAY BEFORE VACATION

The last day of exam for year one students was always characterized with fun stuff. Crazy celebration even those who knew they failed would still celebrate. Those in a relationship would enjoy their last days with their girlfriend and boyfriends before going to their different homes but as for me, Jefferson and Derick, we just sat at the centre of the football pitch Discussing how our holidays would be like.

"So Aaron where is your family house located here in Chicago? Jefferson asked.

"Kyle estates, number 44"

"For real. My grandma place is 36 there" he replied happily

"Lucky for you guys. I'm gonna be travelling to Moscow" Derick said.

"Russian?" I asked.

"My dad is Russian" he replied.

"Ohh, gonn miss you big dawg" I laughed.

While other couples were having the best times, buying gifts for their spouse and having last kisses, Becky and her boyfriend unlike other students were having hell of a time on the last day.

"You are refusing to fuck me because you are still fucking with that Aaron bastard" Jeremy yelled.

"No, Jeremiah! It's not that. I don't wanna lose my virginity yet" Becky replied.

"Ohh so you momma girl? Guess you faking this shit" he put on his shirt.

"Jerry stop it, I don't wanna have sex"

"With me? Ok fine. Go fuck Aaron" he slammed the door and left the room.

"Ok fine, I will give it to you but right now, I'm on my period" She said running after him.

"I'm done with this relationship" he walked away.

Becky cried bloodshot that day instead of rejoicing over her six A+

We both escorted Derick to the airport where he was gonn leave today till February

"Yo boys, I think we call it a year. Respect" Derick said.

"Yeah man. See you next year" I replied.

"Jefferson, respect to you" he waved.

"Respect" Jefferson replied

"Ohh and Aaron I'm not a relationship expert but I never really liked Pearl. Go for Becky She is the one for you" he advised.

Derick never spoke about relationships. He was Kinda a biggie with Stony heart.

'Passenger 085, your flight schedule 4pm en route to Moscow is two minutes before take off' the female computerized voice chanted.

"Ok guys, we call it a year. Good bye" Derick climbed up the stairs.

"Guess mommy bird is calling. Good luck bro" Jefferson and I bid him farewell and returned to the car driving off to the school premise.

We got our bags packed and headed out for Kyle estates.

KYLE ESTATES.

it was so good to be back home. This is a two months holiday. Much of time to spend with family. I missed mom and dad it was so good to be back home.

"Mom, dad I'm home!" I announced.

There was no reply. I called their phone but it wasn't going through. A million thoughts flashed through my mind. We're they kidnapped? Did they die? A sabre toothed tiger ate them? No sabres they are extinct.

The home telephone rang and I picked up.

"Hey son!" My dad's voice was on the other side.

"Dad I'm back from college, where you at?" I asked.

"I'm at the hospital. We are at the hospital" he sounded troubled.

"Doing what? Is mom ok?" I it curiously.

"Son just come to the hospital right now mom needs you by her side" the phone went dead.
