"What's wrong with you?" She asked in shock. Ergon sighed.

"I'm sorry." He said.

"What's wrong? You're not your usual self, you returned from school and you didn't even come to check up on me, that's unlike you." She said in a pained voice.

Ergon felt extra bad hearing the pain in her voice.

"I'm sorry Valeria, it's just...."

"Just what?" She interrupted.

"I'm just not in a good mood, Valeria, and I really want to be left alone right now, please." He said, then he turned his back at her.

He just can't seem to find the courage to face her, not after what he's done, he's so scared of looking into her eyes, he's afraid he might just spill the whole truth to her, and that's something he needs to avoid.

"Don't turn your back on me, Ergon. Look at me and tell me the problem, just talk to me. I don't like this new character of yours. What the hell is going on?"

"Just leave Valeria, please, I want to be alone right now." He slowly said.

Valeria stared at his back, she didn't even know what to do. She made to reach out to him, but she stopped halfway.

"Alright, I'll leave you alone." She said, then she left his room immediately.

Ergon hurriedly went to lock his door, and he fell to the floor, crying bitterly.

Valeria ran back to her room in tears. When she got in, she immediately sat on the bed, crying her eyes out.

"Why? Why is all this happening to me? In just one day, so much has happened already, what did I do wrong?"

"First it was Erica, and then Noah, and now it's Ergon, the one who's literally the reason why Erica and Noah hate me."

"Everyone seems to have a thing or two against me. I don't want to stay here any longer, I can't take this anymore." She cried.

"The best thing for me to do is to just go home. A day away from this mansion will do me good," she said.

She wiped off her tears, stood up, then she hurriedly went to her closet and picked up her duffle bag, she threw in some clothes, not much, then she left her room.

When she got to the living room, she ran into Shiella.

"Valeria." Shiella smiled when she saw her.

"Good evening ma'am."

"Evening honey, what's wrong with you?" Shiella asked, the concern visible in her voice. She moved closer to Valeria.

"Nothing is wrong with me ma'am, I'm alright." Valeria lied.

"No honey, I don't think so, look at you, your face is so puffy, your eyes are red and a little swollen, it's clear to me that you've been crying." Shiella stated, and Valeria laughed nervously.

She seriously couldn't tell Shiella about anything that took place today, she couldn't even begin to imagine what she would do.

"It's nothing, ma'am. The thing is, I was just missing my mom, so I thought of going to see her." She lied.

" Aww, no wonder you have a bag with you, and that shouldn't make you cry honey, anytime you miss your mom and you feel like going to see her, please do so, okay?."

"Thank you ma'am."

"It's alright, you run along now, and send my greetings to your mother." Shiella smiled.

"I will." Valeria replied, then she left there in a hurry.

"Phew, that was a close one."

Shiella turned to look at Valeria once more. She just loved the girl, she was so innocent, nice and well behaved.

"Better go see what my sons are up to." She said, then she went upstairs.

Valeria went outside and she saw Noah coming out of his car.

She immediately turned back and she hid behind a car which was close to her.

She didn't want anything that'd end up stressing her brain. The one she's been facing is enough.

She bent down so he wouldn't be able to see her, then she peeped and she saw he wasn't there anymore. She guessed he'd already gone in.

She stood up and her face landed on a hard rock.

"Oh my goodness." She screamed, feeling the pain.

"Where are you going to?" Noah asked and that was when she recognized his voice.

"Gosh, why's he so strong and manly, my head?" She mentally said.

Noah immediately pushed her head off his chest. He actually saw her while he was still in his car. He was surprised when he saw her hiding behind the car, and he went to find out why.

"Why were you hiding?" He asked.

"Nothing, I was only trying to pick something from the floor." She lied.

"And what's it?" He asked and his eyes went down, but he saw her holding a mini-bag.

"Where are you going to with a bag?" Noah asked inquisitively.

"Gosh, this is what I was literally trying to avoid," She thought.

"Answer me?" He snarled.

She couldn't tell him she was going to see her mum because it was not on the weekend, and he had the right not to allow her to leave.

She sighed and that was when her noise caught the feminine scent lingering around him, she already knew what it meant.

"What's the scent all over you?" She asked.

"Umm, w..w..what do you mean?" He stuttered, this was the first time she would see him stutter.

"Can't you perceive it yourself, gosh try to clean up your mess, don't go around leaving traces of sex all over you?." She said.

Truly, Noah didn't take his bath before he left the hotel. He found out the shower wasn't working fine. He had no choice but to rush home so he could freshen up.

"What do you know about sex?" He asked and the question caught her off guard.

Rule no 1, do not mess with Noah when it comes to sex stuff.

"Are you perhaps going to see your lover?" He asked and her eyes widened.
