I woke up at 6am and I immediately went down to the kitchen to make my coffee and I saw Nanny Lily cooking breakfast, there was nothing new there, only Nanny Lily always cooks in our house
"Good morning" Nanny Lily said
"Good morning too Nanny Lily" I said
"Eat here, while it's still early" Nanny Lily said
"Yes Nanny Lily" I said
I ate while I was holding my phone and I immediately received a message from Bruce
"Good morning babe, I'll pick you up later. okay?" Bruce texted
"Okay, see you later" I replied
After eating, I immediately went up to my room to take a shower and put on makeup. After I got dressed and fixed myself, I went down to the living room
When I got down, I immediately noticed that Bruce's car was already outside, which means he was already here or maybe he just arrived. I immediately informed Nanny Lily that I was leaving to go to school
"Nanny Lily, I'm leaving. Bruce is already there and waiting for me outside the house" I said
"You two be careful" Nanny Lily said
I immediately hugged Nanny Lily and then I left the house and got into Bruce's car
"Good morning babe!" Bruce greeted me and immediately kissed me when I got into the car
"Good morning too babe" I said while smiling at him
"Looks like you're awake now ah?" Bruce said
"That's right, maybe I'm just happier because I know I have you" I said
While Bruce was driving I was just staring at the scenery we were passing, the roads are very familiar to me but I am very happy to see them because it is one of the beautiful sights to see them. I can't ask for anything more than to be with the people who love me so much in life and who didn't leave me until the end and I hope Bruce is the one for me because if he's not the right person I won't understand love.
When we got to my school, I immediately said goodbye to him, he supported me and hugged me tightly before I was entered to the school
"I love you Simoune" Bruce whispered while hugging me so tight
"I love you so much" I said looking at his eyes
He even kissed me on the forehead before I walked into the room and Clarisse immediately appeared to me
"How are you, Simoune?" Clarisse said
"I'm fine, how about you?" I asked
"It's good then. Maybe we don't have anything else to do right now? But just revise our papers?" Clarisse said
"As far as I know, that's all we'll do" I said
We couldn't continue what we were talking about when our professor arrived, he immediately started the class and of course we kept listening to our professor
Our class was fine and quiet when my phone suddenly rang, I immediately picked it up and it was an unknown number so I ignored it. A few moments later my phone rang again and this time it was Nanny Lily calling so I immediately excused to our professor and then I left the room, I immediately answered Nanny Lily's call
"Nanny Lily, why? What's wrong?" I asked
"Simoune, I know you're at school now but you should know this" Nanny Lily said and I know she's panicking because of the tone of her voice
"What should I know about Nanny Lily?" I asked
"Your daddy had a heart attack a while ago, I don't know if someone called you from an unknown number and the hospital staff told me that you didn't answer so the staff asked me to call you." Nanny Lily said
I didn't know what I would feel about what I heard, because what I heard pierced me with a thorn in my heart. I'm not in the hospital anymore but daddy took over, I don't know what else could happen
"Are you going to the hospital Nanny Lily? I'll come see you if you go to the hospital" I said
"I'm getting ready and I'm about to leave, I'll wait for you" Nanny Lily said
I immediately entered the room and said excused to our professor and since I hadn't told Bruce what happened, I just took Clarisse with me as I excused myself that we were going to the hospital. Luckily we were both allowed, even though Clarisse didn't know what was happening, Clarisse came with me.
When we got to the parking lot, she immediately asked me what was going on and why I was in such a hurry
"Simoune, what's going on?" Clarisse asked
"Daddy ran to the hospital today so I need you because Bruce isn't here yet and I haven't had time to call him yet. Can you come with me?" I asked, I didn't realize that my tears were falling because I was worried about daddy
"Sure, get in the car and I'll take care of the driving" Clarisse said
"Before everything, let's go to the house first because Nanny Lily also going to the hospital" I said
"Alright, I'll take care of it, don't worry" Clarisse said
I was speechless during the trip thinking about how I was going to tell Bruce or how daddy was doing in the hospital. When we got to the house, I immediately went down and looked at Nanny Lily inside the house, she was ready and she couldn't be bothered anymore
"Come on Nanny Lily" I said
She didn't say a word anymore and we immediately left the house and then got into the car. while we were on the trip I couldn't stop myself from asking
"Nanny Lily, where was daddy when he was attacked?" I asked
"They were in their office, and the people with them were his coworkers, so they immediately rushed him to the hospital. They also gave our number to the hospital staff, so we were called, as far as I know they were there because they were waiting for us" Nanny Lily said
"It's a good thing he was rushed to the hospital immediately," I said
"It's good that he ran, I brought his clothes so he has a change of clothes at the hospital" Nanny Lily said
We were on the road quietly because I was worried about daddy, so when we got there I quickly got out of the car and then entered the hospital. I looked for daddy's room then I went there with Nanny Lily and Clarisse. When we got to daddy's room, I saw him lying down with dextrose
"Daddy are you okay?" I asked
"Of course dear, you don't need to worry" daddy said
"How are you feeling? What did the doctor say?" I asked
"I just need to rest and take my medicine at the right time," daddy said
"Are you sure you're okay? How long will you be staying here at the hospital?" I asked
"They will only check my health for a few days and if possible I can go home" daddy said
"What if you don't work first daddy? Working too much is bad for you and makes you tired" I said
"That's not possible dear, the company needs me and I also need to work to provide for you" daddy said
I hugged daddy because of the mixed emotions I felt, even if I wanted to stop daddy from the work he has, it's not possible because I saw him here and he was happy
"Let me get better soon" daddy said while hugging me
I let daddy rest first and then I sat on the sofa. I suddenly remembered Bruce and I didn't leave him a message that I was here at the hospital so I immediately took out my phone and texted him
"Babe, I'm in the hospital now because daddy rushed me to the hospital this morning and I need to go. Don't worry Clarisse came with me" I texted
After texting Bruce, I immediately turned to Clarisse
"Thank you Clarisse, you really accompanied me here. I'm sorry if I felt sorry for you too" I said
"That's okay, we're friends here" Clarisse said
She hugged me and I didn't realize that I cried because of the worry I was feeling and the fear of what could happen to daddy
"You can do it Simoune, uncle will fight for you" Clarisse said

After Bruce's class, he immediately read Simoune's message so he hurried to the hospital and because he didn't know what the room was, he called her and then Simoune greeted him. Bruce felt that Simoune was sad about what happened to her daddy so she didn't leave Simoune's side until they had lunch. Nanny Lily cooked something for them to eat for lunch and Clarisse was also with them
Bruce is very grateful that Clarisse went with Simoune even if it means that she will be absent from school
"I'm better off being absent than not being able to help my friend" Clarisse said
Simoune hugged Clarisse in gratitude, as it got late, Clarisse decided to go home because she was still going to their bar. She immediately waved and hugged Simoune then she left. A few hours ago, Bruce announced that he was going home for a while to get some clothes to wear for tomorrow and since Simoune didn't have any clothes with her, she went with Bruce to get some things and then went back to the hospital
When they got back, Simoune saw that her daddy was eating so she volunteered to be the one to offer her daddy to eat. It's hard for Simoune to see the hardships her daddy is going through and it hurts her more because she can't do anything but stare at her daddy.
