It's really different when you know there's no class because you'll wake up at noon, I got up and then looked at my phone Bruce already has a text that means he's awake
"Good morning Simoune!" Bruce texted
“Good morning Bruce” I replied
I was about to drop my phone when I suddenly noticed an email? To someone I didn't know, I immediately opened it because I was curious and I wanted to know what the content of the email was because no one had sent me that before.

I am your mother, I know that I have left you for a long time and I have not known and been with you for almost four years. I know that you didn't understand what happened with your daddy but I hope now that is clear and I hope you have forgiven me and your daddy for not being good parents to you. I tried to stay and fight the temptation but you can't blame me dear, I don't really love your daddy anymore so I have to leave him. The way I left our house was not a good one, but I hope you will understand Simoune. Please forgive me for all the pain and hardships you have experienced because of us.
We are on vacation here in the Philippines and I hope you will come to your step sister's birthday. I have also invited your step brother. I know it's hard for you to accept my invitation but I hope you agree because I miss you so much my dear! I hope you forgive me and I hope to see you. You have two siblings, a girl and a boy, there is also a step brother, but he is the son of my husband's first wife

I don't know how I will feel this time, I feel like a softie because I don't feel like I can face Mommy yet. So I immediately called Daddy because I knew that he would be angry if Mommy saw me, daddy immediately answered it and it seemed that he was even distracted because of his voice
"Simoune? why?" Daddy asked
"Daddy!?" I said panicking
"Did you cry? Why what happened?" Daddy asked
"Daddy, mommy emailed me that she wants me to come to her daughter's birthday tomorrow, isn't she too foolish to invite me, daddy!!??" I said angrily while crying
"Is that why you cried? Don't you want to see your mommy?" Daddy asked
"I want to but daddy I can't forgive her for what she did to you" I said
"You have to forgive her dear, I forgave her even though it was difficult. Didn't I tell you that you are the only one who will be in trouble if you don't choose to forgive?" Daddy said trying to calm me down
"What if I wasn't happy tomorrow because of seeing her?" I said
"The important thing is that you saw her and you forgave her, that's the important thing dear, forgiveness is very powerful, not everyone can do that, so if you can forgive your mommy, you are very brave" Daddy said
"You just forgave her like that?" I asked
"Yes, because I thought about your future, dear, didn't I tell you that? So you should forgive your mommy too" Daddy said with a calm voice
"So I'm going tomorrow for a birthday party?" I asked
"Yes, dear, hug her and forgive her, okay? dear, I need to go to sleep because I'm still early tomorrow" Daddy said
Daddy ended the call and then I came down from the kitchen with a frown face
"Oh why don't you look good when you're awake?" Nanny Lily asked
"Nanny Lily, mommy emailed me and invited me to her daughter's birthday" I said
“Really? Is she in the Philippines?" Nanny Lily asked
"Yes" I shortly said
"It's good and she invited you so you can see her and your siblings. Why don't you seem happy? I thought you missed your mommy already?" Nanny Lily asked
"Not now, yes before but everything changed Nanny Lily when I found out that she was the one who really destroyed our family" I said
"But you have to forgive Simoune, it's been a long time and your mommy and daddy are happy, you should be happy for them too" Nanny Lily said while tapping my shoulder
"But I can't seem to go Nanny Lily" I said
"So you won't see your mommy? What a waste of time if you will not get this opportunity to see her” Nanny Lily said
After all, Nanny Lily and daddy were right, it looks like it's time for me to face Mommy because that's where everyone is headed, to forgive and accept her. I took my phone and immediately replied to mommy's email
"Where is the location tomorrow?" I emailed
A few minutes later, mommy replied
"Thank you Simoune and you agreed! The location is at Savoy Hotel Manila, I can pick you up at 1pm so it won't be difficult for you to come here" Mommy replied
"No, I'm going with someone, so thanks for the offer, but I can go anyway. See you” I emailed
"Thank you" Mom replied
I didn't reply to Mommy and immediately called Bruce
“Bruce?” I said
"Oh why Simoune? Why didn't you reply to me?" Bruce asked
"Ah sorry, I haven't read your texts yet. Can you go shopping with me at the mall later?” I said
"Sure, do you want me to go now?" Bruce asked
"Is that possible?" I asked
"Sure, I'll just get dressed. go ahead!" Bruce said
I ended the call and immediately went up to the room to take a shower, I realized that I was really lucky with Bruce, he always chooses to accompany me everywhere I go but I don't seem to be ready to answer him, maybe because I don't want to get hurt again or I just asked the Lord for a sign when the time is right. After I finished taking a shower, I immediately put on my makeup and then I went down to the living room
"Oh, you're ready?" Bruce asked
"Thank you for waiting" I said
I said goodbye to Nanny Lily and then Bruce and I went out and got in the car
"Are you okay? You don't seem to be okay, huh?" Bruce asked
"I'm going to see Mommy tomorrow in Manila, is it okay for you to come with me?" I asked
"Sure, aunt is already here in the Philippines? When?" Bruce said
"I don't know when but she's inviting me tomorrow for her daughter’s birthday party, it's family gatherings but I want you to join me" I said
"Sure I'll go with you, so you're going to buy a present now?" Bruce asked
"Yes, I will give it to mommy's child and of course to her too" I said
Bruce drove to the mall and when we’re arrived we immediately walked inside and then went to the kids section

Simoune does not know how much she will buy from her sister because she has not seen it yet but to be sure the one she bought is 3 years old so that if it doesn't fit she can still wear it when she grows up for his brother, she bought him clothes and a toy gun, she also bought her sister a doll house. When she finished buying her two siblings, she remembered what her mommy said that she has another sibling but this is uncle wife's daughter from his 1st wife, she didn't know the age so she just bought shades and socks for him
When she finished, she bought her mommy a necklace, after she finished shopping, she and Bruce decided to eat at the food court. When they ordered, Bruce immediately asked a question
"Your mommy's child is three?" Bruce asked
"Only two, the one who is my step brother to mommy's husband" Simoune said
"Ah, how many years has it been?" Bruce asked
"I didn't know that's why I bought socks and shades" Simoune said
"Let it be that you don't know how old he is" Bruce said
They ate when their food arrived and when they finished eating, Simoune decided to go home because she was going to wrap everything she was going to give as a gift. Bruce volunteered to help with the wrapping, when they arrived at Simoune's house, Bruce immediately wrapped them and then Simoune put her name on each gift.
After she and Bruce wrapped up because there was still time left before nightfall, they both watched a movie and after dinner they ate a snack. Simoune has sent Bruce home because they will be leaving early tomorrow because they are going to the birthday party
Bruce immediately followed and then said goodbye to Nanny Lily and then he went out and drove home. After Bruce left, Simoune immediately took care of finding a dress to wear to the birthday party tomorrow. After making her choice on what dress she will wear, she immediately lay down and texted Bruce to see if he was home. When Bruce replied, Simoune was reassured that Bruce was safe
Will the meeting between Simoune and Simoune's mom be good? Can she forgive her mommy? Or will she completely forget it as a mother?
