SIMOUNE

I woke up at 10am, my head still hurts even though I don't try to remember the things I forgot. It's like I'm slowly remembering something from the past but it's still vague for me

I got up and went down to the living room looking for Nanny Lily to help me clean the wound on my head. I didn't tell Nanny Lily how I felt because I knew she would worry about me. The memories that came out of my mind are still vague and I'm still not sure about all of that

"Oh you're awake, come here and I'll help clean your wound" Nanny Lily said

I approached Nanny Lily and we immediately cleaned it and then I went to the kitchen

"Are you hungry? Eat here, I could hardly sleep watching over you this morning" Nanny Lily said

"Why?" I asked

"You look like something hurts in you because you're holding your head and crying, do you remember anything Simoune?" Nanny Lily asked

"I just had a headache but what I remember is still a bit blurry, I can't tell if it's true or not" I said

"Maybe you just think randomly so you're not sure if it's true or not" Nanny Lily said

"I'm not sure" I said

"Hmmmm... don't try to think about it come here and eat it" Nanny Lily approach me

I sat down and then I spooned my food and ate breakfast, I noticed that Daddy was gone because his room was quiet

"Did Daddy leave?" I asked

"Yes, your daddy left just before 8am. He said it's possible that he might leave the country tomorrow" Nanny Lily said

"Is that so? We will be left here and he will be gone for a long time" I said

I just went straight to the food, it looks like Daddy is busy working and he is going back to another country. I hope that his going abroad will be speeded up so that he can return home to the Philippines as soon as possible

After I finished eating, I went straight to sit in the living room and turned on the TV to watch a movie. I haven't finished anything yet but I'm getting bored with what I'm watching so I just decided to go up to my room

I lay down because I feel like I need to rest, I feel that the blurred things that I see in my eyes are not dreams, but really happened but I'm not too sure if it's true or not

I was distracted when I heard someone talking in my room but I didn't open my eyes but I just listened to their conversation. It looks like he is a guest because he and Nanny Lily just entered my room

When I heard the voice of the person talking to Nanny Lily nearby, I knew that it was Bruce. I just listen while they talk

"You make a great effort to always visit Simoune here" Nanny Lily said

"That's nothing, I'm just worried about her, she hasn't bought a new phone yet so I don't have contact with her. Has she eaten Nanny Lily?” Bruce asked

"Oh yes, her phone was damaged due to the accident. Simoune hasn't told her daddy to buy her a phone yet, so she hasn't been on the phone yet. She has already eaten this morning” Nanny Lily said

"It's good, I have some snacks in the car, Nanny Lily. I'll take it later" Bruce said

"Thank you very much Bruce, maybe you are making an effort because you like Simoune?" Nanny Lily asked out of nowhere

I heard Bruce just laugh at what Nanny Lily said

"Didn't you once like her?" Nanny Lily said

"I like her since I was a senior in high school but because I didn't have the strength to tell Simoune everything I felt so small and I'm not fit in her, so I just supported her in everything she wanted" Bruce said

“Why didn't you try to confess? Or at least flirt with Simoune?” Nanny Lily asked

"Shee won't like me Nanny Lily, so I didn't try to tell her because I knew she he would just laugh at me." Bruce said

Bruce has liked me for a long time, why didn't I like him? What is he saying that I might just laugh at him? Did I think like that then?

"So you were hurt when Vince and Simoune became boyfriend and girlfriend?" Nanny Lily asked

"Yes, too much! But I couldn't do anything so I just supported them" Bruce said

Who is Vince who became my boyfriend? Where is Vince now?

"It's a waste of time that you didn't confess to Simoune, Bruce. It's not too late! Confess and realize that you are meant for each other" Nanny Lily said

I tried to remember who Vince was and because of my insistence my head started to hurt. I screamed in pain so Nanny Lily immediately ran to me and Bruce also ran at me

“Simoune!!???” Nanny Lily said

"Simoune, what happened to you?" Bruce asked

"Nothing, I just got a sudden headache" I said

Nanny Lily immediately took medicine and made me drink it to relieve the pain I was feeling

"Are you okay now?" Bruce asked

"It's okay, I'm fine now" I said

We managed to go to the living room so Bruce supported me

"Do you want to eat?" Bruce asked

I just nodded and Bruce went to the kitchen to serve food. After eating it, it walked to my side and tried the food on me

I want to ask about Vince that Nanny Lily is talking about but she might know that I was listening to their conversation earlier

"Haven't you got a girlfriend yet?" I asked Bruce

"Haaaaah?! Why did you ask?" Bruce said

"I'm just curious because I don't remember you. Did I have a boyfriend before?” I asked

Bruce looked at me and suddenly looked at Nanny Lily, maybe he was thinking about what he was going to say to me

"I don't have a girlfriend and I haven't had a girlfriend yet. As for you, you don't have a boyfriend" Bruce said

If I don't have a boyfriend, who is Vince? How did Nanny Lily say this is my boyfriend?

"Is that so? But I've had a boyfriend before?" I asked

"Yes, you just had a one ex-boyfriend" Bruce said

"Is this our friend?" I asked

"No, he was our classmate before but you broke up because you said you didn't love him anymore, right? Don't you remember that?" Bruce said

"No, what's his name?" I asked

"Vince Ramos, now he has a girlfriend again. So don't worry about him anymore" Bruce said

"Why don't I love him anymore?" I asked

"I don't know you either? You just said to Lucy and I that you don't love him anymore and because you are our friend we respect your decision" Bruce said

I looked at Nanny Lily, I didn't know if what Bruce was telling me was true so I also asked Nanny Lily

“Do you know Vince Nanny Lily?” I asked

"Yes, you once brought him here to the house but you broke up because you said you don't want him anymore, he never came here anymore" Nanny Lily said

"Is he nice?" I asked

"Of course, Vince is a good boy, but you broke up with him" Nanny Lily said

I was satisfied with what Nanny Lily said so I didn't ask anymore and I just ate. I can't understand why I broke up with Vince? Maybe it's because I don't really like him anymore? Or am I tired of him? I can not remember

After I finished eating, Bruce invited me to go to Tagaytay because he said this is where we always hang out as friends

"Shall we take Lucy with us?" I asked

"Yes, we will pass her. I'm going to call her now so she can do her things now, it's been a long time since we last went to that place" Bruce said

"Alright, I'm going to take a shower first" I said

I went up to the room and took a shower, while I was taking a shower I couldn't understand but I felt like what Bruce was telling me earlier was not true

I was trying to remember and suddenly a memory of the kidnapping came to my mind. Was I kidnapped then?

I closed my eyes and let my brain do its own thinking. I remembered that there was a man wearing a helmet to me, it wasn't Bruce but………. Is this the Vince that Nanny Lily is talking about? Little by little I remember that we were happy but why did we break up? Why did I break up with Vince?

After I finished taking a shower, I went down to the living room and asked Bruce to leave

"Nanny Lily, we're leaving first" I said

"Be careful, Bruce please take care of Simoune" Nanny Lily said

We left the house and got into the car

I can't focus because I'm slowly remembering something, maybe I just need to concentrate so that I can remember everything little by little. When we got to their house, Lucy immediately got into the car and waved at me

"How are you, Simoune?" Lucy asked

"Little by little it's getting okay, wait, I have a question?" I asked

"What's that?" Lucy said

"Didn't you say you are my friend? Why is my school different from yours?" I asked

"Hmmmm. You chose to change schools Simoune, that's why we were sad when you chose to leave us" Lucy said

"Does that mean we only went to school together before?" I asked

"Yes, 1st, 2nd and 3rd year, this is the 4th year you just moved" Lucy said

"For what reason?" I asked

"We don't know about you, because you said you want to try another school?" Bruce said

I didn't ask anymore but I just looked at the sights we were passing. Everything we passed seemed familiar to me so what I did was lean back and close my eyes

I'm trying to remember something again

"Are you sleepy?" Bruce asked

"No, I just want to take a nap" I said

"Okay, take a nap first" Bruce said

While my eyes were closed, I saw a dark room and then I was bound. I also see a man holding my hands but I can't see his face

My thoughts stopped when the car stopped and Bruce said that

"We're here Simoune!" Bruce said

We got out of the car and I saw that the view was so beautiful, I closed my eyes and saw that I was with Bruce laughing and chasing each other in that place before

"Are you okay, Simoune?" Lucy asked

"Yes, I'm just enjoying the surroundings" I said

Right now, I don't want to tell Bruce and Lucy that I remember something. I want to know what happened to me first

"This is where we always talked, especially when we were in senior high school!" Lucy said

"You really don't go to this mountain?" I said

"I'm still going but only once" Lucy said

I looked around, every corner of this mountain was so relaxing, It's nice to stay here overnight

Bruce put down a mat and the three of us lay down there

"I hope you remember everything Simoune!" Lucy said

"I hope so" I said

I wish I could remember everything, it's so hard to think what's real and what's not real. What really happened before was confusing

I want to know what happened to me before because now I look clueless

...

Bruce, Lucy and Simoune go to the mountain they went to earlier were silent while chatting

A few minutes later, there was a sunset in the previous place, while Simoune was staring at the sunset, Bruce was preparing their food. When Bruce finished serving the food, he immediately called Lucy and Simoune

While they ate they just stared at the sunset. The sunset is really beautiful to the eyes and the mountain breeze feels good

After they finished eating, they decided to go home because they had school tomorrow. Bruce sent Lucy and Simoune, when Simoune got home she immediately went to the room and cleaned her own wound. Fortunately, Simoune's head wound gradually subsided. After Simoune cleaned her wound, she lay down on her bed and tried to add to the memories that were missing from her.

It's a good thing that she's starting to remember something because that means she's getting better

When Bruce got home, he immediately put away the things he brought to the mountain earlier his mother asked about what happened with Simoune and Bruce said that he confessed to Nanny Lily that he liked Simoune, his mother was not surprised, but rather happy that her son had the strength to admit that he really likes Simoune.

Will Bruce confess to Simoune himself? Or will it remain a secret that Bruce likes Simoune?

Will Simoune say that she is starting to remember something or will she just remain silent?
