SIMOUNE

I woke up at 3am and I was very hungry and saw Nanny Lily sleeping on the sofa, Daddy immediately entered the room which surprised me.

"Are you hungry?" Daddy asked me

"Yes, sorry for the trouble that I did" I said to daddy

"What's wrong with that? It's not your fault" Daddy said

He served me and gave me the food, After I finished eating, I immediately lay down on the bed and faced the window

"I'm very worried about you and so are your friends, so I hope whatever you're going through right now is against you! That's it Simoune, go ahead and rest" Daddy said

I can't help but cry because of what daddy said, I feel guilty because I thought daddy wasn't looking for me and I feel guilty because I hurt so many people who were so worried about me but it's not wrong for me to love, right? I just admired the love I thought my Vince could find but it wasn't. Am I really that hard to love!?

I just stayed with my back to Daddy, I know he's looking at me but I don't want to talk to him, I don't want to tell him how I feel and I don't want them to see that I'm weak because of everything that's happening now

I woke up to Nanny Lily's pat, it looked like we were about to leave now because my things already packed

"We're going home Simoune" Nanny Lily said

"Is that so, let's go" I said

I got up and Nanny Lily slowly helped me to the car. I was sitting in the back of the car while Nanny Lily was in the front seat, next to me are my things that were brought to hospitals

I opened the car window, I miss the fresh air so much. I were so worried that I couldn't stop myself from crying but it's tiring to cry, I don't know when to stop and how to stop

"Are you okay?" Nanny Lily asked

"Yes, I just want to go home" I said

When we got home, Nanny Lily immediately helped me get out of the car, she also supported me inside to my bedroom

"Do you want something to eat Simoune?" Nanny Lily asked

"No, maybe I'll eat later" I saix

"Is that so? Do you want someone to talk to?" Nanny Lily asked again

"I don't want to, I just want to be alone Nanny Lily. I'm sorry" I said

"Oh ok, I'll leave you" Nanny Lily said

Nanny Lily came out and I went to bed, I couldn't stop myself from remembering the things Vince and I did here in my room, so here I am crying again, I took the picture of me and Vince that was in my cabinet and I tore it up

I threw away the things I could throw away as I cried with anger, pain, sadness and disappointment. Daddy heard the things I was throwing on the floor so he immediately knocked

"Simoune? Are you okay? Do you need someone to talk to?" Daddy asked me while knocking the door

"I don't need you, just please! Leave me alone" I yelled

Daddy didn't scold me anymore and he didn't open the door to my room. I was on the floor leaning on my bed and crying

I don't know how long I will feel this pain and I don't know how I can forget

How!? How can I forget everything Vince and I shared and experience!?

Simoune was discharged early and Nanny Lily is supporting her, when they arrived at Simoune's house, Simoune immediately went straight to her room and just sulked there all day.

Simoune does not eat even a little food because all she wants is to be alone. Her father could do nothing but let the his daughter to be alone

Bruce and Lucy came with fruit but because Simoune didn't want to enter her room they were forced to go home even if Bruce tried to enter Simoune's room, he couldn't because Simoune doesn't want anyone to talk to and she just wants to be alone. They also went home immediately because they failed to talk to Simoune

How long will Simoune's heart be wounded? How long will she find the trace of Vince's love that made their past?

BRUCE

I woke up at 10am in the morning, my body was very tired because it hurt so much. It's a good thing that uncle drove us to Lucy's house because if we continue to commute, I might pass out from exhaustion.

We couldn't say goodbye to Simoune last night because she was asleep. That is also good so that she can rest well and long. Uncle texted me

"Simoune has been discharged, we are home thanks to you" uncle texted

Is it too early for her to be discharged at 6am? But that is also good so that Simoune is more comfortable in their house. She can still move freely. I immediately texted Lucy and invited her to come to Simoune's house

"Lucy, let's go to Simoune's place tonight at 3pm" I texted

"Alright, I'll also buy some fruit for Simoune" Lucy said

"Alright, I'll pick you up" I said

I immediately went down to the kitchen and saw Mommy refilling the food in the fridge

"Oh son, are you awake? How are you? How is Simoune?" Mommy asked

"I'm fine mommy, Simoune has been discharged from the hospital and now she's at their house" I said

"She was hospitalized? What happened to her?" Mommy asked

"She was kidnapped mommy, because her boyfriend Vince has a family in Baguio and that's why his wife was forced to kidnap them because she can't contact Vince , yes! Vince was beaten and then Simoune felt sorry because she is Vince's girlfriend here in our area" I said to mommy

"It's so good and she's okay now? It's good that you found her?" Mommy said

"Of course mommy, uncle and I tracked it down and then we called the police so we could have someone with us in the abandoned house" I said

"OMG! She's good and safe now, thanks to God" Mommy said

I ate with mommy, mommy also wants to visit Simoune but I said not now because Simoune is not ready for the guests, After I ate, I went up to my room and took a shower. I called Lucy after I finished taking a shower and she said she was done so I went downstairs

"Mommy, I will leave now, I will go to Simoune's house" I said

"Alright, drive carefully. okay? Send me hello to Simoune" Mommy said

"Yes mommy" I said

I left the house and immediately got into the car, when I got to Lucy's house, Lucy immediately got on my car

"Mommy already bought some fruit for Simoune earlier so I won't buy anymore" Lucy said

"I just hope Simoune is okay now" I said

"I hope so, it's still a vacation, we should be enjoying it because it's our 4th year on the 1st day of school" Lucy said

"You know that Simoune's situation is not easy either, so let's not force her to move on immediately" I said

"Anyway, no matter what we say we can't understand the pain she's feeling right now" Lucy said

When we arrived at Simoune's house, Nanny Lily immediately let us in

"You're coming here today? You didn't inform me" Nanny Lily said

"That's okay Nanny Lily, where is Simoune?" I asked

"She's upstairs Bruce and this morning when we got home we heard Simoune throwing and throwing things in her room, but she didn't want us to come in" uncle said

I was worried when uncle said that so I wanted to go in

"Can I talk to her uncle? Maybe she will listen to me" I said

"Not now Bruce, because I know that she doesn't want anyone to enter her room. Let's let her do want she wants, tomorrow if she doesn't eat, I'll force someone to enter her room" uncle said

"What if she does something bad, uncle? What if she needs someone to talk to right now?" I said to uncle

"Bruce! Uncle Listen! Simoune won't do that, I know she's not like that! I know she's feeling pain right now but she probably won't think of killing herself right away" Lucy said

"But…." I said

"Tomorrow Bruce, let's go here early tomorrow let's talk to her" Lucy said

"Alright" I said

I can't do anything but agree to what they want, but if I had to choose I would choose to talk to her now. What if she hangs herself? I wasn't there to stop her but since it was uncle who said it, I had no choice but to agree to talk to her tomorrow

It's annoying because I want to talk to Simoune, I want to see her laugh and smile again but when can that be? It might be a long time before I see her smile again

"When Simoune is okay, let's take a staycation in Batanes. I'll free you so that Simoune can breathe fresh air in Batanes" uncle said

"Really uncle!? I want that! I want a staycation!!" Lucy yelled because of happiness

"I want it also uncle, to help her forget all the memories she has of Vince" I said

"I want Simoune to wander now because it's been a long time since we last bonded, the last time we've bond is her mommy's still in us" uncle said

"That's why we're going to staycation uncle!! It's so we can bond, right" Lucy said

"Thank you for your support, you are a great help to me" Uncle said

"It's nothing, uncle, it's just for Simoune" I said

"So that I can at least recover, eat dinner here" Uncle said

"No, uncle, no need" I said

"Don't be shy, we will only eat together once and I hope the next time we eat Simoune will be with us" Nanny Lily said

"Alright, Nanny Lily! That's right, the food looks delicious" Lucy said

While we were waiting for what Nanny Lily was cooking, Lucy and I talked

"What time are you coming here tomorrow?" Lucy said

"Maybe tomorrow, I'll sleep here and take care of her"

"It's terrible, uncle will just scold you" Lucy said

"I'll sleep here in the living room, so why does uncle get mad at me?" I said

"Alright, I'll go with you, but pick me up and drop me off too!" Lucy said

"Yes, I'm going to talk to uncle about that. Do you want to sleep here too so I can have someone with me?" I sai

"I'll try to tell that to mommy, I'll tell you if mommy allow me" Lucy said

We were surprised when Nanny Lily suddenly called us to the kitchen

"Let's eat" Nanny Lily said

Lucy and I immediately walked to the kitchen, and while we ate, uncle, Nanny Lily and Lucy and I chatted.

"Uncle, don't you have work in another country yet?" I asked

"Not yet, my work is still here in the Philippines after that I will go to another country" uncle said

"Great uncle, how can you last in another country while your daughter is here?" Lucy asked

"It's simple, I'm thinking about Simoune's well-being. Her tuition, daily expenses and of course her future. I know Simoune is distant from me because I was always in abroad when she was a child, but if only she could understand On my side, she will know that it's a very difficult job." Uncle said

"Simoune is very lucky to have you as her father uncle" Lucy said

"I'm also lucky to have her as my daughter" uncle said

"Oh uncle! Bruce and I might sleep here tomorrow, we want to be with Simoune. But we will sleep here in the living room, uncle, if Simoune doesn't want a companion" Lucy said

"That's no problem for me, you're always welcome here" Uncle said

"Thank you uncle!!!" Lucy said happily

After we finished eating, Lucy and I immediately said goodbye to uncle, so that we can rest

"Uncle and Nanny Lily, we're going home" I said

"Alright, be careful! Take care of Lucy!" uncle said

Lucy and I got out and got into the car

"Uncle is very sweet isn't he!?" Lucy said

"Of course" I said

"But Simoune doesn't accept him because Simoune thinks that uncle is only working for himself, what she doesn't know is that uncle is suffering in another country. I hope they will be happy father and daughter in the future!" Lucy said

"I hope too, all uncle needs is perfect timing so he can tell Simoune everything" I said

"All right" Lucy said

When we got to Lucy's house, she hugged me and said goodbye

"Tomorrow! Let's go to Simoune! I will force her to let us in" Lucy said

"If she allow us!" I said

Lucy came out and she entered their house. I drove home because my brain was too tired to think, when I got home, I quickly parked the car and walked inside

When I got inside, Mommy looked at me

"Did you eat? Do you want me to serve you? How is Simoune? Did you say hello to me?" Mommy said

"Mommy, I've eaten, uncle fed us at their house. We didn't talk to Simoune because she wanted to be alone, so we didn't talked to her, but uncle said that Simoune is fine, she just needs to rest." I said

"Is that so? Hmmmm! Poor Simoune! Are you going to visit her tomorrow? I'll make her a carrot cake" mommy said

"Yes, mommy, and maybe I'll sleep there too, I'll take care of Simoune" I said

Mommy gave me a silly smile so I asked her again

"Why mommy?" I said

"You still like Simoune, don't you? Because you're not like that if you don't love her anymore" mommy said

"I'm just concerned mommy because she's my friend" I said

"You can't lie to me son, because I know you well" Mommy said

"Yes mommy, I like Simoune and I have never disliked her" I said

"Oh right! You admit it too!! Or go ahead and rest and tomorrow I will make her a carrot cake and I will increase it so that Simoune's daddy and Lucy can also taste it" Mommy said

I hugged mommy and kissed her on the forehead

"goodnight mommy" I said

"Goodnight son" Mommy said

I went upstairs and lay down on my bed. I wonder what Simoune is doing now? Will she notice us tomorrow? I hope yes so we can talk to her, if she agreed

I am willing to take care of her, because I can do everything just for her. I love you that much Simoune

I love you more than the love that Vince gave you….
