I woke up at about four in the morning. Shockssss! Now that recognition is coming, I haven't decided what I will wear. I quickly retrieved a few clothes from my closet that I haven't worn yet. I don't know what to choose because I have so much clothing. My door burst open, and Nanny Lily came in.

"You're awake; what are you wearing?" asked Nanny Lily.

"I should have bought it yesterday because I got home around 6 o'clock, but I forgot," I said with a teary eye

"When your dad woke up and I told him that you are top 2, he was very happy, so he asked me right away if you have clothes to wear" Nanny Lily said

"Nanny, what did you say?" I asked

"I didn't see you carrying a paper bag yesterday, so I said maybe you didn't buy yet," Nanny Lily said

"How did dad respond?" I said

"He asked me to accompany him to the mall to purchase clothes for you," Nanny Lily said

"Really? What does it look like?” I said with a curious look

"He said he took me with him so I could pick something out for you, he said I know what you want better because I wash your clothes, so this is what I picked out." Nanny Lily said

I was astonished when she handed me a paper bag because the outfit was really gorgeous. It has a sparkly design, a puff sleeve, and a small slit on the side.

I grinned and stated, "You know very well what I like to wear."

"I know you because I usually see what clothes you wear when you take them off, so thank you and I'm glad you like it," Nanny Lily said

"I appreciate you, Nanny Lily," I said while smiling at Nanny Lily

"You're welcome! You take a bath and I will prepare the things you will wear," Nanny Lily said

"Yes," I said

"Your dad has eaten in the kitchen already," said Nanny Lily.

I texted Vince just before I went into the bathroom

"Vince, Daddy is dropping me off so we can't go in together at this time." I texted

"Good morning, my love, it's all ok, see you!" Vince replied

"I love you too, see you," I replied

I went into the bathroom and showered. I'm anxious since my father is here right now and the fact that I'm about to introduce Vince makes me even more anxious. Daddy has no choice but to accept, so perhaps he will.

I instantly put on makeup and the dress that my father had purchased the previous evening after taking a shower. Daddy was present when I walked down to the kitchen to eat.

"How was the dress?" asked Daddy.

"Yes, dad, I appreciate you getting me this dress," I said while smiling

I simply grinned at my father and carried on with my breakfast. As soon as we finished dining, we bid Nanny Lily farewell.

"We're dropping Nanny Lily off," I said

"You're an honor student, so we'll get ready later," Nanny Lily said while smiling

I left the house with my father before entering the car.

I refrained from speaking to Daddy, so we were quiet during the ride. When I'm around Daddy, it almost feels like I can't breathe.

"How are you, dear?" Daddy asked

"I'm okay," I said

"It's great that you're taking your education seriously because I notice that you weren't in the honors during your first and second year," Daddy said

"I need to get serious because I'm graduating next year," I said

"I'm proud of you," Daddy said while smiling at me

"Thanks," I said

We didn't talk much on our ride. I don't know, but being around Daddy seems incredibly awkward.

There is a part of me that feels sorry for him since my mother cheated on him in the past, but when I consider the fact that he was gone when I was growing up, all sympathy vanishes.

When we got to school, Daddy started looking for Lucy.

"Are Bruce and Lucy still your friends?" asked Daddy.

"Of course, " I said

"Why don't I see them at the house?" Daddy asked

"I told them last week and yesterday, and I might invite them later," I said

I came across Lucy and Bruce as we strolled around the campus.

Additionally, their mommies were present and, of course, they shared their pride in Bruce and Lucy.

"Uncle, you're here!" Lucy said while smiling

Together, Bruce and Lucy blessed Daddy, and I blessed them, together with their mommy and daddy.

"Yes, I just arrived yesterday and it worked out that you already knew who I was," said Daddy said happily

"That's right, uncle, where are our chocolates?" Lucy asked

"I'll give it to you in our house, come later." Daddy said

"YESSSSSSS!!!! You said you wouldn't forget us," Lucy exclaimed.

"Why would I forget you?" Daddy said while laughing

They were unable to carry on talking because the event's host had already spoken and we were being seated alphabetically. I choose not to accompany my father because they are different seats for parents and students. I'm glad I'm okay, though.

Vince wasn't where I thought he was, so I texted him.

"Love, are you at school today?" I texted

"Love, I just arrived and I was walking." Vince texted

"Congratulations, my love! I'll take you home and introduce you, but we might not go home right away because Lucy and Daddy are with me." I texted

"Congratulations to us, Love! Don't worry, enjoy our recognition day!" Vince replied

Recognition has already started.

We have been together for a very long time because it began in the first year of college. Vince and I are taking a staycation tomorrow, and I can't wait.

Due to the late hour of the departure, we still have time to go home. So tonight, daddy should know about Vince. It's quite hot and there are a lot of people at school.

It's a good thing, however it's only temporary, as the heat will drive us insane otherwise. They anticipated it would be outside due to the crowds, rather than inside.

We're getting close to the award for the second consecutive year. The excitement is that I will eventually receive a medal once more.

Sadly, Mommy is not here, How's mum doing?

When the third year began, it was in the top 10 up till the top spot. Our section is next, good thing!

"May we call on our Section BSIT-3B and we will call the lucky, hardworking, and smart students. We will start with David, Allison our top 10 give her a round of applause" the Host said

The others cheered alongside us as we did.

"Peterson Patrick, our top 9," the Host said

Do you truly believe Patrick is still an honor student and solely has experience with bullying?

"the top eight Lucy Reyes," Host said

Of course, it was my friend, so I yelled and cheered.

"Trinidad, Joanna Marie, our top 7," the host said

"Trisha Mendez, our top 6," the host said

"Top 5 Bruce Manuel," the host said

"Mateo, Christian Philip, our top four" the host said

"Our top 3: Chelsea, Grey," the host said

"Top two Fierro, Simoune," the host said

Naturally, it was me, so I got up and walked over to the stage. Daddy got up as well and walked over to the stage.

I presented the certificate, put on the medal, and took a photo. I turned to look at Vince when I got off because he was the final person to call. My boyfriend is overjoyed!!!!

But why isn't he accompanied by his parents or even a guardian? Perhaps his father chose not to return home for the recognition. I sent Vince a text right away.

"Congratulations, love!" I texted

"Congratulations, too! Your father is a frightful man," Vince replied

"Daddy is kind, not crazy" I replied

"I hope he likes me," Vince texted

"He'll accept you," I texted

I went straight to the parking lot with dad after the event.

Bruce, Lucy, and their mommy and daddy attended.

"Do you want to celebrate at the house?" daddy

"That's embarrassing, bro." Bruce's father said

"Don't be shy; I told you that everyone was prepared," Daddy said

"Okay then," aunt and uncle said

We both departed for home. Bruce and I didn't even focus. Due to the fact that he is embarrassing his mom and dad, perhaps it is time for me to truly forgive him and pay attention to him.

Maybe most importantly, dad will be aware that we are not paying attention. The gate and door are open, and we are close to the house.

We instantly exited the vehicle and drove home.

I awaited the remaining two of them and Lucy.

"I'm happy for all three of us," I said

"Well done!" exclaimed Lucy.

"Bruce, congratulations!" I said to Bruce

"Congratulations, Simoune, and I'm sorry about what happened; I haven't been able to apologize." Bruce said

"That's over, I've forgiven you, therefore it's all right," I said

I gave Bruce a quick hug before we both went inside. I was astonished, and I enjoyed the cuisine at home.

"Did you all cook this, Nanny Lily?" I asked to Nanny Lily

"No, your dad already ordered, and they came here right away because he texted me," said Nanny Lily.

"Because it was so much, I assumed you cooked it all." I said

Daddy emerged from his room with a sizable bag.

"The chocolate is for you." Daddy said

He then gave Bruce and Lucy the chocolate, aunt and uncle were also gifts from him.

"Thank you for the chocolate uncle." Bruce and Lucy said

We began to eat and converse. I told them that Vince was coming while the three of us were eating.

"I'll introduce Vince to Daddy later, guys," I said

"Are you sure?" Lucy asked

"Yes, why not?" I said

"Okay, I hope Uncle will accept Vince," Lucy said

I don't know why, but Lucy doesn't seem happy that I'll be introducing Vince to Daddy. Oh, perhaps I simply misunderstood. They might simply be concerned because it moves too quickly. I'm not sure.

They appear to be leaving for home because they are saying goodbye to Daddy, so I texted Vince already.

"Love, you can come here they're already leaving" I texted

"Okay, love, I'll just get dressed and then I'll go." Vince texted

"Okay love, drive safely. I love you!" I replied

"I also love you," Vince texted

A little while later, aunt and uncle departed, and I gave them a quick hug and goodbye. I also gave Bruce and Lucy hugs.

"Be cautious as you drive home" I said

"Thank you, and good luck to you for introducing Vince to uncle," Lucy said.

They instantly said Nanny Lily farewell, Me and Nanny Lily entered

"I'll introduce you to someone, Daddy," I said

"Who is that?" Daddy asked

"My boyfriend, our first honor, is on his way right now," I said

"Do you think that's good and I can meet him?" Daddy said

After saying this, my father simply grinned at me before entering his room. He even stole additional chocolates intended for Nanny Lily. I instantly left the house when I heard the sound of the vehicle to meet Vince.

"Hello, love, and congrats to us!" I said happily

"Hello, love, and congrats as well. Are your dad's guests gone?" Vince said

"No more, come in now so I can tell dad about our tomorrow staycation," I said.

"Okay, please ask your father for thoughts about me." Vince said

I grinned at him and took his hand to enter the house with me. Right away, he sat in the living room and spoke with Daddy.

"I'm Vince, and I'm Simoune's boyfriend," Vince said to Daddy

"You're the one who's rumored to be my daughter's boyfriend, how old are you?" Daddy asked

"23 years old Sir" Vince said

"How long have you two been dating?" asked Daddy.

"It's been a while; she only answered me last month," Vince said

"Where are your parents?" Daddy asked

"They're both abroad," Vince said.

"If that's the case, are you a transferee because you don't look familiar to me at their school?" Daddy said

"I'm from Baguio, but I left because I was one of the students that were expelled when my school got into difficulties," Vince said.

"Why were you dismissed? " asked Daddy.

"We can't tell anyone what occurred, sir," Vince said.

"Okay, if my daughter is content with you, I will let your relationship go. Please don't do something wrong and injure her!" Daddy said

After speaking, Daddy immediately left and went to his room. He appears unsatisfied with Vince.

"What do you think, love? Does your Daddy Accept Me?" Vince asked

"Of course, he'll accept you!" I said

Although I don't want to deceive Vince, I know that Daddy will accept him shortly. I asked Vince in the kitchen and he ate while talking to Nanny Lily.

"You will be accepted, too," Nanny Lily said.

"Hope so," Vince said

Nanny Lily nodded in agreement.

"I know that one-day Simoune's father will accept you because you are a kind boy and I know that you have good intentions toward Simoune," said Nanny Lily.

"Hopefully, Nanny," I said while smiling

Vince quickly made the decision to return home after eating because it was late.

What else might Daddy consider when he returns home at night? I walked with Vince until we were outside the home, and he gave me a hug.

"Are you excited for tomorrow?" I said

"Of course, love! I hope he'll let us go" Vince said

"I've already purchased a ticket, so Daddy just needs to agree," I said

"I hope so, well, I'm going to go home and you rest in your room, okay?" said Vince.

"I love you, drive safely!" I said

"I also love you," Vince said

He mounted his motorcycle and departed.

I made the decision to go inside the house when I was no longer able to see him. I told Nanny Lily I was going to rest since it had been a very exhausting day and that I was going to my room.

I entered the room and promptly fell asleep. I'm pleased with the progress Vince and I have made.

I've introduced him to dad. Vince is genuinely for me, so I don't care if my father doesn't like him.

After a short while, Vince texted me.

"Goodnight love, get some sleep. Don't worry, I'm home." Vince texted

"Good night, too, love! I love you, sleep well!" replied

I was probably so weary that I wasn't even aware that I was lying down.
